Yes. On the one side EM/MF - Making logical choices based on their judgement On the other side KevinH/Lyner - Doing their best to not look like scum by not voting as much as possible.

Waiting for Montosh to save it indeed. We lynch KevinH today. Lyner night kills me tonight. We lynch Lyner tomorrow. ???? Profit

Lies. I'm the cop, you're lying about being the tracker. That means you're our second scum.

If by 'lying' you mean 'telling the truth' You're absolutely right.

Proof you say? Well, except for my word, I don't have any. You're just going to have to trust me on this one if you want to win it.

Oh. Good thing you counterclaimed. Seems like I was wrong with my assumption of Montosh being scum. KevinH and Lyner bitches. The cop says so.

Well, unvoting last time was the best thing I could do. I'm the town cop. I got to scan two people, both of them are still alive. EM is town KevinH is scum Given the last few post I'm sure enough Montosh is the other scum, given post #166. So, EM/Lyner. Please join me: Vote: KevinH

Well, there's still some time. So I'll unvote for now Vote: Unvote Doesn't mean I changed my mind though. Who would you put in the scum category atm? Reading the thread, I got a strong townie feel from EM and a significant scummy feel from you. Lyner and Montosh aren't really active enough to get a good grasp of wtf their role is in this part; ut if I'm right one of them is scum and the other one isn't.

vote: KevinH I reread the entire thread twice. You're the only one I can get a proper read on giving me a scummy feel.

Not switching because I don't really feel bad about my current choice either.

So far, I got everybody but myself on my 'probably scum' list.. I'd be good with lynching Lyner or Montosh instead of Robert.

[OP-05] Mafia Wins - Matrix6 Game Thread
Well. I'm all out of other ideas, so sticking with my current vote for now. I wouldn't be opposed to lynching montosh either, if he doesnt become active.

Given that most people know the dangers of starting or joining a bandwagon early as mafia, I'm going to assume for a second that most of the players voting for the GeniusInc and Rafay wagons are town. Of the three other guys voting last round, one is dead. One of the other two voted 'no lynch', which doesn't really help mafia, since they want to kill us off ASAP. So, sticking with GeniusInc (and his replacement): Vote: Robert2424

This whole random setup thing doesn't make things easier.

I would interpret this as saying:The reason for no-lynch is because there is a greater chance to lynch a townie. The reason for lynching an inactive is to get rid of a useless person. I interpreted it as saying he was for lynching inactive, and he had voted for me (who was for all intents and purpose, inactive). I was asked to give the pros I saw in both options for town.

How the f did you read me being against a no-lynch in post #57?

a little too quick on the draw there bud. Vote: MutedFaith he wanted to get replaced, not killed. will a scum want to get replaced out of the game? i think not. Will a townie care whether he's killed or replaced if he wants out? I think not. Will scum care? More likely. A vanilla townie is more likely to get bored of the long days than a scum who gets to kill someone at night and gets to giggle around and do this , watching the townies floundering around trying to find the scum. True. But scum needs to put in more effort to seem innocent if days take longer. Monty: Well, you got a point. So that'd make no lynch more favourable?

I haven't played mafia in a while, nor had a good grasp of understanding the gametheory before. So both not lynching and lynching inactives sounds like a good plan to me. MF, Why do you think that either of those strategies is good for town? Also, why do you want townie points from Kevin? Not lynching: Chance to lynch town > scum Lynching inactive: Get rid of useless ppl.
