Where in the World is Peggy the Panda?
Too far north. Too far west… also, there's no where with that much wilderness around Lake Washington; it's surrounded on all sides by Seattle suburbs. Way too far west. Closest guess to date. --- I didn't expect this one to be so difficult Allow me to summarize the most important clues I've dropped so far. The lake is made by God. (This means that it's a natural lake and not a reservoir.) The lake by itself is not particularly famous, but the basin in which it lies is reasonably infamous. (This means that there are probably more lakes like it in the immediate vicinity that share the same basin.) Try looking at things in the picture other than the lake. I chose this particular angle for a reason. There is something in the picture that has its own Wikipedia page. Once you find it, identifying the name of the lake will be easy. The photo was taken on a hike. I recommend looking at popular hikes in this area for ideas. The lake is about 50 miles away from Lake Chelan and even closer to Lake Wenatechee. So as soon as someone goes and looks up a hike (clue #4) going through a basin filled with natural lakes (clues #1 and #2) not far from Lake Wenatechee (clue #5), you should be able to identify the lake based on the unique aspects of the image (clue #3).

Where in the World is Peggy the Panda?
No, too far north Just a reminder that this lake is "made by God, not by man" as per the original clue. Ross Lake and a couple of the earlier guesses are reservoirs, not lakes.

Where in the World is Peggy the Panda?
Closest of the guesses to this point, but no. Right now I'd say you are warm, but not hot.

You are too far north now.

Where in the World is Peggy the Panda?
No, wrong direction relative to Flathead Lake (and correct direction relative to Glacier Lake). Peggy's lake by itself is not particularly famous, the basin in which it lies is reasonably infamous.

Where in the World is Peggy the Panda?
Nope, but a bit closer than Glacier Lake
-
Where in the World is Peggy the Panda?
No, not Glacier Lake… you are in the correct part of the world, though

Where in the World is Peggy the Panda?
No, Lima is closer. No, but if you travel from Lima to Quito you will probably pass through this city. Try looking at some tourism sites; this building is usually in the cover picture for the city.

That's awesome! Though I did not intend for anyone to put in an hour of research. Cold Warm: right continent, wrong country Cold I didn't leave too much in this picture to judge off of. In the next picture I'll make sure to include some sort of monument or landmark.

You can click "What Links Here" in the sidebar for any article to see all inbound links. It's also useful for working backwards when golfing to a hard-to-reach destination.
