Oh TW always the recruiter. I've been alright. Finally in a place i can relax and not worry if I got enough money to pay bills and such. That and a new job that is allowing me to go to school for free at a private university all the way up to a masters. Life is pretty good right now. Thought I would stop by and see how all my old friends were. TW you can buy me a beer and we will discuss the possibility of me coming out of retirement. I may be headed your way here soon on a 4 day weekend just cause.

I have to repeat myself here. DON'T DO ILLEGAL THINGS AND THE COPS WON'T BOTHER YOU. IF THEY DO THAT IS AN ENTIRELY DIFFERENT ISSUE. second I have to say this because the point was brought up that the guy was yelling "I can't breath." Due to a thing called science we know that he is lying when he says this. I will explain. speech and all sounds made through the mouth come from air being pushed through your vocal cords. The air makes the vocal cords vibrate which creates sounds. There for you can not talk or yell if you can not breath. He might have not been able to breath as well but he could definitely still breath. It's science. ihateaaron makes very good points and i totally agree with him. Police are humans too and aren't perfect but the problem is not them. The problem is society. The only reason this is such a big deal is because we have worthless people in this country who have this attitude of "The man is keeping me down" when in reality they skipped school to get high, dropped out, had a kid at 16, and are sitting at home on welfare living off everybody else while they get high and have more kids. Then they see something like this and they play the "We can yell the loudest we are right" game and get the media stirred up and then they "protest" which means instead of sitting at home all day they go out into a public place in front of cameras while the rest of us work and continue to yell about how the man is killing their kids and keeping them down. It's really sad that america has become what it is today. I'm thinking about leaving and living with the aussies.

I don't understand why people are getting so pissed at the police. Granted I'm not a fan of the cops myself but in both cases discussed here the person had committed a crime and resisted arrest. I have a solution. Don't do illegal shit and the cops won't bother you and if they do bother you that's a whole other ball game.

I feel as though I should point some things out about this. 1. They guy was a beast at 6'4" and 292 pounds. You might say this information don't matter but let somebody that big punch you in the face with their weight behind it. It's going to cause some damage. Therefor being unarmed really doesn't matter when you can use your body as a weapon. 2. The kid was not just some innocent guy walking down the street with him friend. He was a criminal that had just engaged in a criminal act and was caught on video. The officer was just doing his job and investigating a suspect that matched the description he had heard over his radio. 3. Race had nothing to do with this. A black cop just shot an unarmed white man in Salt Lake City UT. No riots funny how that works. Those people just used it as an excuse and it sickens me. Specially when we have celebrities and even the white house going to this thugs funeral but none of them take a bit of time to go to a single soldiers funeral. 4. People are forgetting that this officer was outnumbered 2-1 since it has already been stated that he was walking with the friend that helped him rob the gas station. You can sit there and say that taking a life of an unarmed man is never justified but when you have a family at home that you want to make it back to and you are in a situation that can potentially end up with you never seeing them again you will think twice.

I hated the job and I'm actually kinda glad I got fired. I just wanted to see the different opinions on the matter. I still find it upsetting that it seem that companies own you once you start to work for them. It's borderline tyranny since you have to live in fear of expressing your opinion of things and people. I also agree with the facebook being evil part and I hardly ever post and if I do it's normally a song that I like. There were a lot more things that lead up to that post and I personally don't think it was that bad. It could have been a lot worse. I do however think I will contact OSHA because there are unsafe things going on in that store.

I find the whole thing utterly ridiculous. It's on my own time on my own computer and my opinion which I gained through experience and what others have said. Granted I probably shouldn't have used a name and just left it for everyone to assume who i was talking about.. I don't think it warrants termination or any disciplinary action since it was done outside of work. Just because you work for a company doesn't mean they have the right to tell you what you can and can't do in your personal time and what you can and can't think.

So I haven't been very active lately due to the RL monster and one of the things taking up my time is the fact that I recently got fired for a post I made on facebook. I have been looking into the legality of this and was wondering if anyone had any thoughts. The following is the whole conversation for context. (Gus is the General Manager of my store who fired me)

as much as I would love to have this day go on for a month I really want to see how a night works since this is my first game and KevinH you were basically lynched at that point anyway so to save us all the trouble I gave the last vote. Thats all nothing political or vindictive I just want to see a new element to this game.
