Yeah, most of the old members who were involved in the scandal left a long time ago or now are merely members of the AA and bodies during war. Very few of the old blood have any impact on the modern Nordreich. All that using our scandal with NoRway is doing is dragging out name through the dirt in the public forum yet again. People just have to read the word "nazi" to hate something - which is something we all deplore in Nordreich because it has absolutely fuck all to do with any of us.

The highest barracks level req to have a moderately useful farming army is 4 to get the giant. I don't have a single level 5+ unit, but either way the idea behind farming is to spam and grab as much as you can as quickly as you can without caring too much about how much you can actually destroy. Some people just spam an army with is 75-80% goblins and the rest giants, it works just as well for farming but you are a lot less likely to get a star. Everyone can farm effectively, it just takes some practice. You have to be willing to waste some gold finding a good target (a target in your range who has a poor base setup or who has a town hall that is wayyyy higher in level than the rest of their stuff) and the patience to see great gain in the long run. It's all about prioritizng what resources you really need and focusing on getting as much as you can out of a single target. Even just making some lightning spells then dropping all of them straight onto an enemy resource storage structure is enough to get an amicable return. I only farm Dark Elixir now and I do it with this method. I hit as many of the people who have already hit me as I can via revenge then I attack 1-2 targets through the battle finder to get my trophies back up.

That's too expensive on the elixir, you'd never get a chance to grow. who cares about elixir, it's about having fun. You grow faster by raiding anyway Growing is part of the fun though :/ It's hardly too expensive on elixir, just save all your gems and keep popping the 1d boost to the collectors. The amount you get back from the war should cover a good chunk of your troop training costs. It's not like you'll go into debt. On preparation day, do 3-4 raids with a Barch+Goblin+Giant arrangement and you'll find your make plenty of elixir to cover your costs. Hit people who have attacked you via revenge so they can't hit you back, and use lightning spells to harvest resources even quicker. If you're worried about losing trophies, do 1-2 runs focusing entirely on resources then one focusing on getting stars. The trophy loss is much less than the trophy gain in the long run.

we've won every single war so far All due to me and your crying Damn Straight! Not crying, my bitching. But am glad to hear that defenses will still work during battle even if they're being currently built. I didn't know that, why I was against starting wars so quickly over and over and not having enough day to upgrade anything like Defense. Now I don't give a hoot lol I didn't realize that, lol. We should be at war even more if that's the case.
