  1. 126.. Fixed we had 2 120 post
  2. We are only 4 states, Sanders still has a fighting chance and a few states on Super Tuesday are going his way. And we will see what happens in November just because people don't turn up in the primaires don't mean they won't vote in November. If Trump wins the Republican nomination many Liberals will unite to who ever the Democrats nominee is.
  3. I think most people feel their local food is a bit overrated... I have to find different things to try most time I go out to eat. And here in Texas Mexican or Tex-Mex is very popular but I do get tired of it very easy.
  4. 1. And we just may this year 2. I am it's election year and I will do my part and vote Blue 3. Yes they aren't stopping him from nominating someone but to just say out right you won't even consider his nomination is ridiculous. 4. Yes it may be called Lame Duck but it doesn't mean he will stop trying to get things done. 5. I am talking about many of the actually American citizens, yes the hard core Republicans say no but few Republicans have came out in support of Obama and telling the Senate to go with the process. Example was a retired Justice. 6. Yep and politics is a game of Hardball, who said progressive I am sure Obama will nominate a Liberal, now if they are the same to you than yea. I guess it's so bad to have Liberal Justices. Just like every other part of the government you need balance. 7. And so are the liberals who actually like fixing mistakes.
  5. Well I did my part and went in Voted for Sanders in the Texas Primary. I hope Super Tuesday goes well for him. Even though my state is pretty much Hillary winning strong,he is gaining in some states and every vote matters.
  6. West side has better scenery. Just go to McDonalds and you've successfully visited 80% of all US restaurants. Haha.... But yea never been up there but probably not much BBQ. Good BBQ states are the Carolinas, Kansas and the Midwest states as someone mention above. Also my Home state of TEXAS we have pretty good BBQ even though I am not a fan of it much. So in New York I would say try a New York style Pizza, maybe some hot dogs. Well I always here Apple Pie's are what America's about so try some. Well Welcome to the U.S. hope you enjoy your time here and hope the people are friendly enough.
  7. Bernie may not be doing strong with foreign Policy issues but he was one of the only politician to get the Iraq war right, this is also why people like him. There is many reasons why not to like a certain candidate but the thing is you will probably never find the one politician who you support 100%. I even have some issues with Bernie Sanders on somethings while very miniscule it won't change my support for him. To me he is the best candidate in a long time, yes Obama said similar things but once he won he abandon or cut back on what his original ideas were. Sanders to me is what FDR and maybe even Kennedy was to the people during those times. Well if he does lose, yes we will be upset but this movement will grow even stronger over time if these things don't change. The issue of Abortion is a personal issue and it's your right to decide thats why while I see myself more pro-life, I can't make that decision because first I am not female, second there are many cases where abortions are needed, as one case here In my State of Texas will horrible laws are preventing a 13 year old girl who was rape from getting one. Now you say you want to leave it to the States... Now come on what issues have states got right? Well besides the few states that have legalized marijuana. Which needs to happen Nationally as other issue with States were a Vet living in Kansas who wanted to move to a state so he could smoke Weed legally got his kids taken away because they found out. Sorry States rights are a thing of the pass and people need to get over that. The North Won we have a Federal Government system not a Confederative.
  8. Just want to see what y'alls thought on these reasons why Sanders shouldn't be President and how his Agenda will destroy America. Fair Warning satire may follow. Read at your own discretion Read at your own discretion
  9. Whatever if the Senate holds out a nominee for over a year they are fucking idiots and you party will never recover from that. Sometimes you lose and must get over it. Obama is president and this is his job people elected him twice your party lose twice get over it. The last year of a president's term doesn't mean vacation time to do nothing because we hate the president. Yes the same applies to the Senate they were elected and can do what the people want but most people want them to do their job and confirm someone, it doesn't have to be the first nommie but how long should it take to nominate and confirm someone to the Supreme Court. The real reason Republicans are doing this is because some of their bills and laws from state level are being question by the Supreme Court and if there is a 4-4 split the lesser court's decision is upheld. This whole situation is just showing how bad our government has gotten and that they can't just get over shit to work together and do their stupid job.
  10. Um where are you getting those delegate numbers I keep seen like 51-51, 52-50 or something around these. Are those super delegate numbers? As what I hear those aren't final until the DNC and can flip at any moment. (I actually hate Democrats on this, and can't believe Republicans don't have them yet.) If Sanders don't win this year it won't be over, people will just get more and more angry with how the whole system is against us and does not support the popular vote. If Hillary Wins she will have to move far left to keep the progressives happy which I doubt she will, she will basically just be another Obama and maybe here and there do something the progressives like but make it very weak and not strong enough.
  11. Haha nice conspiracy there... Yea even though I am a big Bernie fan everything from here is just going to bet harder and with super tuesday coming up and most of these states are with Hilary especially the stupid Super delegates. So I can see Hilary winning. But I hope we are wrong and somehow all this losing pushes Bernie closer and closer to beating Hillary and hurra your worst nightmare comes true...
  12. Carson and Kasich should be next, but some people want Carson to stay in not sure why? Rubio would probably then become the establishment guy at that point. But like you said I am with you now Trump will most likely become the Republican nominee despite my worst fears.
  13. Umm the Progressives were formed out of the Republican party.. wouldn't that there were liberals in the Republican party. Now yes the parties back then didn't used our modern terms of Liberal vs Conservatives.. Actually the term liberal was what was debated Classical vs what became neo-Liberalism, so really all parties have a liberal element in the broader definition of it. But if you just want to say which party by name only yea it was the republican party and yea most modern Democrats would be Republicans back then as many Democrats who were anti-slavery back then did join the Republican party when it was founded.
  14. Omg wow really another Republican taking created for ending slavery..Sorry but go to school and read up on American history of politics, the Republican party during Abe Lincoln was the LIBERAL party of the time. The names of the parties don't mean much throughout history. For example the republicans also call themselves the GOP the grand old party but actually the Democrats are the older party trancing themselves back to the original Democratic-Republican party of Thomas Jefferson. There are different periods of American politics and when at times some parties are created and others cease to exist or they are restructured to what the current culture of America is. Abe Lincoln would never be a Republican into days standers maybe the only thing the Republican party of that time has in similar to today's time would be the support for big business. Politics changes with the culture of the people who exhibit the practice of the politics. This is way I believe that a progressive stance is truly the only sensible outlook, things change so must the politics of the world. You can't be conservative for ever on every issue it just don't work. And also why our constitution and bill of rights can change, and why I believe that our founding fathers allowed these things to be put into the formation of our government.
  15. Haha Lysistrata you just talked about how it has been the republicans compromising to the liberals. But now with Justice Scalia's death the republicans are again the one's trying to stop Obama's duty as President in appointing another Justice really compromising. This ain't the only time republicans in congress has or tried to block things that Obama or other democrats have tried to push through including but not limited to several job bills, a bill to help vets, etc. The Republican party of today is a snotty kid who only wants things their way. They used the disguise of defending the constitution until it's them who are going against it. But yea just believe whatever Fox News tells you. Now I am not saying that all democrats or liberals are better and haven't done the same thing at some point but don't tell me that under Obama that it's been the Republicans coming to Obama to work things out. Republicans never gave Obama a chance and this is why I can't stand the Republican party and the conservatives that support them. You'll say it ain't racism but whatever it is there has never been this much problem with a President getting this much hate before Obama.
  16. You are a cheerleader, and like all cheerleaders you face your side, dance, shout, and pompom your team. The only time you look at the other side, it's to throw a razz, and the entire time you really don't know how the game is played, and fail to glance at the scoreboard. You have received the best indoctrination money can buy, and have been promoted to the prestigious rank of one of the flock. I do wish you the best of luck in your blind ignorance. I have hope that one day you will realize what you have become. I am anything from a cheerleader, while yes I will call myself Liberal, Progressive, Socialist, even a bit Anarchist, I don't agree with everything that comes from the left. For example on the Republicans side I like Rand Paul and Ron Paul for their Libertarian ideas yes me and libertarians will probably disagree about what the government's role is and how "Big" it should be but we can agree what the corruption of it in general needs to be fix first for anything else to work. While I probably will stay supporting the Democratic or other Left wing parties I am not their Cheerleader and I do have problems with Obama, Hillary and even Bernie for that matter most people will never 100% agree with another person on all issues thats why we must work together to fix problems we have. But the problem we have is the Republican/Conservatives in America don't want to work together and just want to belittle Obama or any other Democrats, they try to attack some minority group and make you blame them for your problems. The Republicans show no respect to Women's rights, to minorites personal liberties. The Republican party right now is just filled with hate.
  17. Haha very funny if you believe that Trump can beat either Clinton or Sanders, Sorry but no republican or conservative will be the next President. The Republican party is a joke. McCain was probably the last decent Republican candidate who actually supported Health Care reform, believed in Global Warming, etc The Republican party is stuck in their old ways and need to realize that it's the 21'st Century. Marriage is not a Religious matter, Global Warming is a man made problem, Not all Muslims are terrorist. Welfare and Social Security are not a drain on our economy. Well who cares no one listens to crazy liberals. Go on just support Trump the next Hitler and watch the world burn.
