I personally cannot stand how political the SCOTUS confirmation process has become. If I remember correctly, Scalia got something like what 98 votes? This is not supposed to be about politics and for the most part for 200+ years it wasn't! But now its becoming like that, and its kind of pathetic. We never should have even had to use the nuclear option. There is no way on earth he isnt qualified to be on the SC... Big props to the three Dems who actually voted for them. OI hope the GOP isnt petty next time the Dems have a nomination and dont pull this kind of crap and actually let them get voted in based on their merits
