[MK-6] Switch - SK wins
I was really busy at work today and have just been half-keeping up with my thread subscription. I'm gonna spend some time going back and analyzing the game to see if I can get a more educated idea of whose story is more believable, but a few quick thoughts: It's low of brewers to bring play from currently-ongoing games into play, especially when he's the mod of said game and has specific information that the rest of us except Tony don't have. Cornering Tony with information only the two of them can know is really dirty IMHO and it really shouldn't be a talking point anymore. The whole "Tony confused Dontavian with Velocity" seems like a really unimportant discrepancy. I honestly forgot while reading it that Velocity was the one who replaced Robert in this game when I was first reading his post, and I feel like the core action he was trying to describe is that he investigated Robert before Robert was replaced. Not saying whether the claim is true or not, just that I don't think this is a big gotcha in my view. The recent confusion about whether Tony knows that brewers is mafia or just scum generally is EXTREMELY important. My reading of the initial claim is that he was told specifically that brewers was mafia, which is not impossible - I'm sure I recall MK clarifying that the cop would get specific results if applicable, although I need to go back and quote it and such. If Tony is now backtracking and saying that he only knows brewers is "Guilty" then that changes his claim a lot in my mind. Tony, if you're reading this: please clarify exactly the result you got on brewers as it will just about make or break whether or not I believe your claim.I'll post more about which way I'm actually leaning later tonight hopefully when I get a better sense of what's led up to this. Oh also, @Finster your vote on Velocity (really anyone except brewers or Tony) is absolute insanity. If you're town then there's simply no excuse for doing that - there's effectively a 100% chance that either Tony or brewers is scum since they can't both be the cop and wouldn't lie about it if they weren't scum (if they are lying townies then we deserve to lose lol), and while there are other people making themselves more or less suspicious by how they respond, there's zero way to be as confident about anyone else being scum as you should be that either brewers or Tony are.

[MK-6] Switch - SK wins
I'm not ready to completely give Dontavian a pass but this day obviously turned into a choice between Tony and brewers, so we'll save that for another day. Which choice Don picks will be interesting though. I'm interested to see how other people read this situation. One of them has to be lying.

I'm sorry, what? Did you just admit to being mafia?

[MK-6] Switch - SK wins
Welp that definitely helps lol. Need to give some time for someone to counter claim but I would be beyond impressed if Tony made up a claim that detailed lol.

Nothing to panic over and it has nothing to do with length of time I’ve been playing. I RCd to be honest and make the math easier. Since you’ve singled me out when all I’m trying to do is help Town, is by definition a scummy thing to do. So, let’s kick it up a notch... feel free to vote for me and we’ll leave it up to the others sitting on the side atm. Vote: brewers If you come for the king you best not miss, and my brother you are REALLY off right now lol. Brewers may be mafia but this is 100% a desperation play and makes me way more suspicious of you. Just as a note in case you are town: RCing as a VT means nothing. If we all mass role claimed (can't remember if it's allowed but I don't think it is), all 3 remaining scum would RC as VT and we would know nothing except that 3 of the people with that RC are lying, which we already know. That's why this looks like such a panicky move: claiming this offers literally zero to the town, but has the appearance of trying to pull yourself out of the spotlight so town can focus on other players, which is really only something that scum would want to do.

It's interesting that Rafay is taking credit for being so quick on the draw with Robert/Dontavian. I know it's his general MO, but this one feels especially scummy to me since it's not even true. First he claims that he immediately voted for Robert, but that's not true, he got on 2 days late (after me and Kevin had voted Robert) and initially seemed to consider voting Tony for being a democrat, before finally doing this. As a side note, it's curious that he seems to be again playing dumb or something about why town keeps considering lynching Tony (same "is it cause he's a democrat??" type of comment). A few RL days later, Dontavian is replaced. Now, based on Rafay's post, you'd think he immediately switched his vote onto Dontavian, right? Incorrect, he unvoted, maybe thinking that his scum partner was finally going to be active again and not worth bussing. Welcome and Don't bother. Also unvote. BTW Now whos our prime suspect? Then the next day, after 4 other people had re-voted for Don and it was more or less clear that he was going to be lynched, who adds an additional vote on the end? It's Rafay, and he even calls out his vote on Robert as a reminder that he was supposedly always one of the good guys trying to get rid of mafia. It's Rafay so it's always impossible to tell which of his weird plays are just bad town moves or obvious scum moves, but this reeks of trying to bus your scum partner. Robert was basically dead so no harm in getting rid of him, and then this weird vote just to make sure you're on the wagon. Add this to the circumstantial fact that Finster was killed N1, who just happened to have a personal vendetta with Rafay, and I'd be shocked if the goat isn't scum. Vote: Rafay

I never said not voting for Don made me town - usually it would be a knock against you and me and the others who didn't vote for him. It's not rocket science though to figure out that there wasn't anything to go on to assume Don was scum except that Robert was inactive (you even said as much before brewers confirmed he was scum), and after brewers winning a game by bussing his teammates, it's likely that someone would try it in this situation. Especially someone who saw the writing on the wall and figured they could cement themselves as the goat for winning this way.

The EC is a safe kill, it's the only person guaranteed to not be the PC which is basically a day/night 1x PGO. If you were smart you'd be using your infamous misdirection abilities to trick mafia to targeting the PC. I don't know if you're being intentionally dense or just aren't paying attention but this is pretty obvious just thinking about the setup. But congrats, you got your wish so we'll see how it works for you.

Way to go MK. Free kill for scum as I told you would happen. There's no way you're stupid enough to play this out in real time as mafia but you're killing the town right now regardless. You better hope the EC went to someone who knows what they're doing, and maybe don't out them this time. Also I have no idea how Don ended up being mafia but I'll take it. Huge FOS on the people who stuck with killing him - there was no legitimate reason to kill him and I guarantee someone knew he was scum and hoped they could pull off a brewers.

[MK-6] Switch - SK wins
Yeah I agree with pretty much all of that. The only reason a doc should come forward is if they're close to being lynched, since if we get the SK then they'll be able to help a ton more. If the cop somehow has been getting any useful info then it might be worth coming forward, especially if they learned who the SK is since they will be able to be protected from then on I think. Somewhat on that note, between WP and CoD, it looks like the SK is probably more experienced, or at least someone who understands the progression of kills. Wouldn't surprise me if it's Velocity, brewers, or maybe even Finster or Lyner. Just something to keep in mind, especially given what brewers said yesterday about it being in the SK's best interests to help us scum hunt which may make them seem more townish.

[MK-6] Switch - SK wins
Only concern with treating today as LYLO is it would mean the power roles should come forward with whatever they have, even if it's nothing since it would still confirm two townies. While we can't really afford a mislynch, we still have two more we need to get right after today (assuming we get today right), and you can almost guarantee the cop and doctor will get killed once they out themselves. Maybe today is still worth it, but we should think that through before just throwing them to the wolves to get only our 2nd scum kill out of 4. I agree though that all the remaining vanilla townies need to play today like it's LYLO. No stupid votes.

[MK-6] Switch - SK wins
Based on the fact that it shows Kevin as being killed vs CoD being shot, it looks like the first kill was mafia, who I'm gonna say are terrible at this. Kevin would've been a top suspect for pushing so hard to get AbT lynched, and getting rid of him for us is stupid on their part. Good for us though, I'll take it. Also I told you jerks that scum would kill twice, and now we only have 8 players and 3 scum left and are one mislynch away from LYLO. So, good work everyone. Let's at least try to get today right. I need to read through some stuff, but FoS Finster for hammering AbT. Goddamn, I knew it, those bastards are going to frame me... again! The last posts on D2 are literally about CoD sussing me. I swear, I had nothing to do with this. Also FoS Ferastical for immediately panicking about being seen as suspicious for this kill

Well we can both agree on that Also @brewers quit being on an airplane and update the game

Wat. I don't understand your actions at all this game lol

[BA-10] Election Mafia - Town Wins
I already apologized for the Tony situation and explained what happened. It was a genuine mistake. I know it hurts town and that's my fault. Not sure what more I can say. The whole Tony theory is hogwash, of course. Even in a hypothetical scenario where that setup was the case (which it's obviously not), I can promise you I wouldn't be stupid enough to not go for the easiest bussing in the world, especially not right after brewers just crushed a game by doing it. I'm more interested to see who ends up being on the first mafia train in this game if we ever actually get serious enough to find one, since I can almost guarantee someone will try it. I'm more interested in this bit. Who's the "we" that decided to do a night kill again? Or are you confirming that it's actually you and TW which is why you're supportive of him getting elector again?
-
[BA-10] Election Mafia - Town Wins
Lol I was about to say, you do know the EC is a town role right? Anyway yeah, an EC who picks TW (and me) is good enough for this game. They had two different chances to pick a Tony or Torres and didn't, so they're obviously being serious which is about as much as they can do. Not sure what else you think someone in that role can do other than not pick me, which now they can't anyway lol.

[BA-10] Election Mafia - Town Wins
Don't really understand what's happening in this game now. Not sure why people are piling on Don for replacing an inactive person, not like that's his fault, but whatever. Hopefully we get something useful out of it. Vote: MK As a really delayed OMGUS and also for being weird about the EC

[BA-10] Election Mafia - Town Wins
@Torres are you still playing? I see you making spam posts but you've suddenly ignored this game since being a tiny bit more engaged on D1. Any reason?

[MK-6] Switch - SK wins
Plenty of people go without lunch, it's not that unusual. Jokes aside, I didn't change my vote, it was taken off Robert after he got replaced. I don't think AbT or Kevin are scum (although I could be wrong of course), so what else am I gonna do? Vote for them anyway and get us one player closer to the end game? Throw out a random vote and risk other people jumping on it or scum using it to try to frame me or whoever I vote for? It doesn't make sense. I'm not advocating everyone else do it, but at least by making my vote you know where I stand, which is that I don't have a strong scum feel and would rather see no one lynched than mislynch.
-
[BA-10] Election Mafia - Town Wins
That's why I agree with the strategy that TW and AbT thought of, which is to require the elector to vote for whoever gets the popular vote. It basically invalidates them until the very end of the game since picking off people at will (whether it's town or they bus their partner) will be an automatic lynch the next day. It's also why we can't afford to let it go to someone who's not gonna be serious since we'd risk an extra mislynch if they are town and just messing around, which would pretty much ruin any chance we have.

[BA-10] Election Mafia - Town Wins
Welcome to this wild game, Dontavian! Unvote Honestly Robert did literally nothing so I have zero idea what he was up to. Might as well give Don a chance to actually play whatever role he got before judging him. Completely agree, good point. All the more reason to focus on people who will go with this gameplan instead of messing around.

[MK-6] Switch - SK wins
If someone comes up with a better candidate at the last second I'll change my vote. We still have until tonight US time I think. I just hate not voting, and right now I don't see AbT or Kevin being scum and would rather lynch nobody instead of potentially mislynch with two more kills coming tomorrow.
