Just pointing out that I'm pretty sure the "Tony" vote on TW is from Smitty, who didn't vote D1 if I'm remembering correctly. So either Kevin has to be the double voter or TW has a hated modifier. @Canik, it's important to note a double voter if we can find them because they don't have a ton of town utility, but they can be really powerful as scum role so it gives us reason to give that player extra scrutiny.

Unvote I think leaving Torres to his own devices is dangerous but it's not fair to punish him. Second chances are a good thing for the iron mafia community lol. Honestly I have no idea what to do now. It seems like everyone has at least met the vote threshold for the day, and there are no good scum leads at all anymore. How does trial by combat work again? Deadline is tomorrow morning so it's looking like a decent possibility that we're headed for one.

I will say that brewers is well known to use lead characters as mafia safe claims. He did it in his last game making Joe Exotic the safe claim for his Tiger King game. With how obvious he's made it that the Lannisters are town aligned, I wouldn't be surprised at all if he gave Torres Jaimie as a safe claim. Vig is relatively convenient for scum too. I don't want anyone to out themselves unnecessarily, but it'd be interesting to know if someone followed or tracked Torres and could verify his claim. If he did shoot someone last night , especially someone who died, then that'd poke some serious holes in his story.

LOL that's hysterical if true. Good on brewers for trying to make you play at least kind of seriously. Hmm, I thought the leading theories were that it was either 2 scum groups or 1 scum group + SK. Either way, Torres essentially claimed to have not shot anyone yet, so he doesn't change the calculus a ton except that there are potentially more killing factions out there than had an impact last night.

From what I've read, Wolfpacks is a really good townie (assuming he is in this game too lol). It sounds like he's just busy with work for now but hopefully him posting means that he'll pick back up when he's off. If we're gonna vote for an inactive I'd almost rather it be Smitty/Tony instead of Wolfpacks. I still think Torres is the best vote though given what little information we have right now.

To be totally honest, I think it's probably more likely than not that Torres is town. I don't think it's totally unlikely that he's scum though, and at this point he's as good a guess as anyone except Velocity lol. I disagree about bad play though, at least in absence of any remotely decent scum leads. It's why we go after inactives early on is because they don't help town with any information. My problem with Torres is along those lines - it doesn't seem like he's really even trying to play to win, and as we go on his lulzy approach will hurt us more than anything. If any actual evidence comes up against him or anyone else then I'm happy to push harder for a lynch, and I don't mind sending someone else to trial with him, but it's not like the votes on Torres are completely random or without basis.

Wolfpacks is reigning townie of the year, I'm not lynching him. At least give him a chance to see the game lol. Robert is MIA though. Frankly Tony should've been mod killed for editing posts and faking mod quotes, so if Torres won't kill him then I will happily do so. Btw thank you Torres for actually doing vote and post counts. Very refreshing!

Thank you lol. Really surprised that we're spending so much time on flavor. It'll be useful as we go along but at this point in the game we're kind of wasting valuable time to play the actual game.

If nothing else, this game should be a good reminder to everyone who's newer at mafia to take the game more seriously and not take information at face value. I think TW is right that there should have been enough clues to anyone willing to read between the lines, but we got lucky that most of the people experienced enough to do that were either in mafia or inactive. We had some pretty good strokes of luck with killing the arsonist and doctor the first two nights, plus role blocking never being used on us from what I can tell, so that helps and isn't a thing the mod can control. That being said, IMO a game not being normal isn't an excuse to intentionally prevent the game from swinging out of mafia's control. There was no clear game mechanic (hidden or otherwise) that caused Lyner to flip as his town safe claim, and we put ourselves in an awful position by Lyner attempting to safe claim one of the other mafia as he was dying, and me being under pressure early on. I sympathize with wanting to avoid having scum get wiped out a few days in, but it's not fair to town to have the game partially taken out of their hands like that. I shouldn't complain since I'm now on the score sheet lol. Just trying to be honest and fair. It was still a fun game that went down to the wire and was never over until the very end.

The whole setup is really smart, and I love the detailed explanation of how the game played out from everyone's perspective, but yeah this still doesn't explain how a mafia showed up green as if they were town. I still feel like that tipped the scales way in our favor.

What are you even saying? You sound like a 40 year old dad who thinks this is what high schoolers talk like lol. Also if you don't want to take these games seriously then that's cool, you do you, but some people get kind of competitive about stuff like this, and you just lynching and shooting people for the lulz is as anti competitive as it gets, so don't be surprised when people start lynching you most games for it.

I definitely agree with TW, I think brewers is just trying to avoid having the game rely super heavily on flavor. I'm sure there will be a few characters that break the mold, plus I'm sure scum will have some easy safe claims that aren't obviously aligned against the Lannisters, but I think this theory is probably a pretty safe path to go down.

We were trying to lynch Torres last time i checkedLol I'm not dumb, I know who I voted for and who I think has the most votes. An actual vote count is always nice to see how close or far we are from lynching anyone though, especially as we inch closer to the deadline. I am curious if anyone is risking a mod kill by bit having posted yet today though. This seems like an easy game for scum to hide in the shadows with how many players there are.
