Why was I nightkilled first?

Good game mafia.

Two main reasons:
1) You and KevinH were both on the table as possible first night targets, just due to veterancy and having seen how effective your analysis is for the town.
2) You were pushing a sort of 'follow the cop' mentality - which made us wonder if you somehow knew there was a classic cop this game instead of the security-guard-esque one we'd seen in games 1 and 2.

The fact I came in as a replacement also hurt - I misjudged how 'suspicious' people were of you day 1. If I'd been paying closer attention we might have tried to keep the suspicion on you for day 2

A great first game! Nerau really sealed the deal there at the end, but I think Kaziocore is right, the game had enough inactivity to make you guys pretty ineffective.

Thanks for being a good sport there at the end FightingOkra. That must have been a shock when you went from 0-100 in less than ten posts.

Preston and I got by pretty suspicion free too, which was interesting. I guess we just got a good vibe.

What would have happened if D3mon had been lynched? We'd still keep going but no NK power or does a goon get promoted?

Kinda funny how that works out Though to be fair you had the bad luck of picking our nightkill for your vigilante kill, which really DID make your roleclaim seem more suspicious - I might not have been able to get away with suspecting you so openly otherwise.

Tracker suspected me pretty decently on day 2 - or at the least he tested me/pressed for a reaction and then when I responded he backed off. But yeah, since we were able to keep focus on the four who voted for Angel that kept you and I mostly off the radar.

I have to say I did NOT expect Nerau to pick FO - I was just hoping that Id put out enough of a critique of Kazio's roleclaim that Nerau would decide that was the weaker between Kazio and D3mon. I can kinda see why Nerau picked FO though - two roleclaims for Kazio and D3mon, both plausible and both suspicious... versus someone who'd been sitting on the sidelines mostly avoiding attention.

If d3mon had been lynched though, I believe we would have had to decide between us who does the kill - the 'godfather' role doesnt really MEAN much as it was written, unless they disagree with the other two scum. In some games the godfather shows up innocent when cops investigate them, but otherwise it's mostly a wasted role slot. Oh - and in case people didnt notice, scum had NO special roles this game other than the nightkill - but then the town had weaker roles too it sounded like?
