The republicquise war had been going on for sometime and the two sides were finally ready to sit down and negotiate the terms. At least that is what they thought. Well, although this is a farce there's not much I can say except I'd ask you all to review my posts and see that I have not once acted contrary to the will of the town before believing this very simple and coincidental roleclaim.

 

So, I think it's interesting that ElectricMango posts his strategy, then without any discussion about whether to follow it Reign of Terror claims he is the cop. electricMango's plan is suspicious in that it makes assertions about knowing there are other confirmed townies etc. his plan was then immediately implemented by another player who hasn't has much to say otherwise. ElectricMango too has has a pretty hands off role until now with silly reasons for his votes, on purpose. I think the timing of this seems planned and is likely a rouse. The "cop" reveals himself, in my opinion, very quickly and without hearing the opinions of the town as to whether or not that is true. Instead, I think Reign of Terror is a false cop, a scum in cahoots with ElectricMango to pull off this show. The timeliness of it and it's straight forward and simple three post implementation between two players who have otherwise not hand much contact (on purpose?) leads me to believe this is the case.

Reign of Terror did not rebut any of my claims. Instead, more unconfirmed assumptions about who is what role and asking for more roleclaims. This is the same thing we are seeing from Electric Mango, making assumptions about who is in what role (i.e. that he has identified a confirmed townie). I'm not buying it.

Yes I am a mason and I will let my partner reveal himself. Beebs is obviously using a last ditch effort to try to save his skin but it won't help.

I am also leaning towards believing EM at this point. The scum would not have dared called out the cop to role claim. Their best interest would be to try to kill the cop before he can roleclaim and finger out a Mafia. So if EM is innocent and claims that theres another Mason I think we have 3 confirmed townies. I have been voted on twice by Beebs on both Day 1 and Day 2. He was trying to get me lynched pretty strongly on Day 1 also and almost managed to pull it off by getting 3 votes. So if Beebs is a Mafia that clears me too.

 

So that leaves: d3mon, Kaziocre, KevinH and Sic Croc. One of them is a Mason and maybe 2 are scum. I would be interested to see who the 2nd Mason is. That would make it much easier to identify who the 2nd and 3rd (maybe) scum are.

 

Also I am not very confident that an "innocent" investigation from the Cop will be much help. As far as I remember (though I have to check again) I think I read it that there are some Mafia roles who look "innocent" to cop investigations. I think the Mafia Godfather is one such.

I am still not convinced that RoT is the cop. Based on EM's posts (before he roleclaimed), I couldn't have guessed his actual role (there were a number of possibilties i.e. Friendly neighbour, Friends, etc..)..

 

The fact that RoT was able to guess his exact role (Mason), makes me wonder if this is just a well planned move from Mafia.

If you think about, why would EM suddenly draw the town's attention to him

when in fact there is almost no activity whatsoever right now and I believe

he's not the second most suspicious player.

 

Now there is only one reason why you might not be scum after all which

Wow, that ended really fast. I didn't know that I am allowed to vote at this time officially, but I'd have gone in for KF2001. I'm not really convinced by the scum tells. Had I voted back before this ended I would have joined the majority, I'm more concerned about our concerns about KF2001's conversation being neither addressed or remedied by the man himself. Day one he spoke a lot less than SirCrocodile about his reasons and SirCrocodiles replacement might be able to shed more light on that role. I'll leave it at that, and let the mod conclude the day....

Suppose we vote No Lynch.

 

Suppose RoT is the real cop

 

Scum nightkills RoT -> He turns out to be the real Cop -> means Beebs is scum -> we still have no idea who the other 2 scum are

 

Scum does not night kill RoT (but kills either me or SirCroc) -> We think RoT is scum since he survived and we do not believe his night investigation (same reason as todays) but scum intentionally did not kill RoT to throw suspicion on him and EM and Kazio. Now theres 3 scum voting for RoT/EM/Kazio to be lynched and the remaining townie believing RoT is scum since he survived. 4-3 scum wins.

 

Scum will not nightkill EM and Kazio because that would confirm that the other is a Mason and a confirmed townie. Scum will not hit d3mon and KevinH because one of them is Mafia and killing one exposes the other.

 

Now, Suppose RoT is a fake cop, hence scum

 

Scum does not nightkill EM and Kazio (they are in this case either scum or under heavy suspicion)

 

Scum does not kill RoT -> he is scum

 

Scum kills either me, d3mon, KevinH or SirCroc. Suppose nightkilled guy is real cop. RoT is exposed -> EM and Kazio under heavy suspicion, but not conformed.

 

Real cop is not killed. RoT is under suspicion as scum but we do not know for sure because scum may have intentionally left him alive for reasons as explained above.
