The Rules

 

Only the following roles may exist in this game: Vanilla Dwarf, Sane Cop, Doctor, Vigilante, Roleblocker, Mason, Innocent Dwarf, Jailkeeper, Tracker, Watcher, Gunsmith, Miller, Bodyguard, Role Cop, Doublevoter, Hider, Neighbor, Neighborizer, Jack of All Trades, Goblin Goon, Goblin Traitor, Goblin Godfather, Goblin Framer, Goblin-aligned versions of above roles.

The roles may contain any of the following modifiers: Even/Odd Night, Non-Consecutive Night, X-Shot, Bulletproof, Neighbor, Compulsive, Macho, Weak, Backup (with or without primary role present).

 

Sample role PM:

You are Bombur, a Vanilla Dwarf. Your power is in your vote. You win when the Company controls the game.

During the Day phase, each player may speak and vote inthread.

If a player receives the majority of the available votes during the Day, they are lynched.

At deadline, a player with half-majority will be lynched.

You may vote No Lynch.

After the Day, the game goes to Night.

The game thread is closed during the Night. The Goblins may speak to each other at Night. All Active Roles may submit actions via PM at Night.

The Goblins can, as a faction, kill one player at Night.

After the Night, the game goes to Day.

All dead players (lynched or killed) can no longer participate the game.

Basic rules for maintaining the integrity of the game thread are in effect (i.e. players may not quote their Role PMs, nor may they discuss the game outside the game thread unless otherwise permitted, etc.)

The game is comprised of Goblins (mafia) and the Company (town).

The game is won when only one faction remains in the game, or nothing can prevent the same.

 

Mass role-claiming is not allowed.

Game Days will last as many real-life days as there are players alive.

Game Nights will last 48 hours but will include at least one weekday..

Not nessacarily, as with my actions, if you are a townie and are accussed of being scum then it is a logical progression that since the person trying to lynch you is trying to lynch a townie that they must be scum.

 

The problem here is that the vote he is responding to is pretty much random. So responding to it in that manner was silly.

 

 

I however, have yet to see any strong counter-point to my list of potential scum. So again, being on the list of scum and completely ignoring it (especially when it brings actual evidence) would seem to indicate to me guilt. Especially since EM's response to it was to tell people to lynch Rafay.

No. He made that up as part of a random role-play I think. Because otherwise he wouldn't have accussed me of being scum when he said that those of us listed as prime numbers (and subsequently carrying his treasure) were supposedly proven townie in that post.

 

The time to put your vote in to lynch has come. We have laid out clearly why day 1 no-lynch is not a good idea so please those of you who are voting no-lynch stop it. I do not ask that you vote for anyone, simply that you vote for the one you believe most to be scum. Enough evidence has been brought forth that we should be able to make a fairly informed day 1 lynch.

Umm.. apparently you made a quick jump on a bandwagon and then decided that it was not worth it when Kazio unvoted. Thats rather unusual and tbh as scummy as I have ever seen on day 1.

 

I don't believe in lynching anyone on day 1 as it has a chance to hurt the town and while I still believe that it is the best possible move for town absent any slip ups from the scum. I have to say that this is one of those cases where I believe that making an exception is worth it.

i have no idea what's going on anymore. the last few votes were quite random, some were scummy and some were beyond any point that was discussed until now. also, it would be nice if everyone voted on who they believe is scum at this point.

All I can say at this point, is that we have more candidates for potential scum then there actually are, so some townies need to get their act together and stop getting upset at each other and play for the town to win.

 

While our pool of potential scum is a little on the large side, I still think there is enough evidence toward who the scum are that we should go with a day 1 lynch instead of a no-lynch. so please, vote for who you think is the scum instead of voting no-lynch.

So going off this list of shortlisted people to lynch, heres my thoughts.

 

1. CoD: Ragefit and emotional response to Xarastier. Wanted to quit but then decided to play on. If he is scum he is doing a dang good job of acting. So my thoughts: not scum.

 

2. noahband: Random vote on him by LK. Responded by counter voting. Scummy move but this is Day 1 and I have seen similar moves by newer players previously. So holding my judgement on him, but will be keeping an eye on him.

 

3. Electric Mango: Has shortlisted possible scum candidates but did not reveal how they got on the list. Wants people to lynch Rafay but has not voted for him himself. Pretty interesting there. Not sure what to think of this, but we all know he can wily and very dangerous as scum. Thoughts: keep an eye on him.

 

4. d3mon: has been keeping quite. Voted on by EM but no good reason given.

 

5. LK: very interesting switching of votes going on. Votes randomly and then unvotes and votes someone else again. Then unvotes again! Could be a newbie mistake but compared to the other candidates his moves have been the scummiest so far.

 

Other candidates:

 

Rafay - no votes on him but his posts have been suspicious. but he has been known to play that way.

Xarastier - weird theories. Early role claim. Dont think he is scum but might be worth keeping an eye on.

Kazio - doesnt lok scum but has been switching votes around

kilgor - if xarastioer turns out scum i wont be surprised to find that he is connected to him

alternate tree - too quite. Might be a scum tactic.

What I see out of Lorikz

-he random voted noah, who promptly "omgus" as kazio puts it.

 

-changed votes to try and get a day 1 lynch rather than to get a lynch on scum.

Actually I find this suspicious

 

1) why would it be ridiculous if hee voted noaah likke it was still RVS

2) sounds opportunistic when he's waiting for others before voting noah again (probably to gauge whether a noah lynch will be popular)

3) in contrast to how good he was at scum hunting in the last game (at least in the dead quick topic), he joined d3mon wagon without stating his reasons

Chaplain of Death - generally is actively scum hunting and it feels natural. Also appears town because of his ragequit attempt because of Xarastier

Xarastier - as much as this sounds ridiculous, i think Xarastier is telling the truth. i don't think a newbie could pull-off (includes being brave enough) a fake claim

Imran Ehsan - right now, a weak town read on Imran Ehsan. he's attempting to scum hunt. I say weak because almost all of his reads say he's suspicious of the person.

the problem here is because you're not committed to anything, it's easier to join any wagon and reason out that you "suspected" him before.

 

NULL:

D3mon - suspected before but I feel better about this slot because of noting Lorikz Kain's behavior. IF LK is scum, d3mon is probably town

Rafay - it's hard to read Rafay when he's too defensive as both town and scum

Xx Karl xX - don't have much to say about Xx Karl xX.

Noahband - OMGUS vote but yeah he could either be newb town or newb scum at this point

killgor - aside from defending Xarastier when he role claimed which is slight town, nothing much can be read

 

SUSPICIOUS:

Electric Mango - listing who he thinks is scum without stating his reasons is scummy because it looks opportunistic.

later he could freely vote everyone from the list. If he's asked, he could invent some excuse.

 

Alternate_Tree - no attempt at scum hunting whatsoever. he is either lazy or lurking scum. i don't believe that you have nothing to say

We need more activity guys. It's hard to read on players if they're barely posting. Scum could then hide with the inactive town players.
