Setup:

The 2of4 setup is a popular setup for newbies. To prevent the development of game-breaking strategies (e.g. the infamous Follow the Cop strategy), this game is Semi-Open, wherein the actual game setup is randomly chosen from one of six possible setups as detailed below:

• 1 Mafia Goon, 1 Mafia Role Cop, 5 Vanilla Townies, Sane Cop, Doctor.
• 1 Mafia Goon, 1 Mafia Role Cop, 5 Vanilla Townies, Sane Cop, Jailkeeper.
• 1 Mafia Goon, 1 Mafia Role Cop, 5 Vanilla Townies, Doctor, Jailkeeper.
• 1 Mafia Goon, 1 Mafia Role Cop, 6 Vanilla Townies, Sane Cop.
• 1 Mafia Goon, 1 Mafia Role Cop, 6 Vanilla Townies, Jailkeeper.
• 1 Mafia Goon, 1 Mafia Role Cop, 6 Vanilla Townies, Doctor.

The Role Cop has the option of submitting both the night kills and investigations, even when the Goon is still alive. The Mafia must specify who is performing what Night action when the Night action PM is submitted!

No, I do not think it was entirely random.  I think he may have voted for you because he doesn't like the idea of a first day lynch or for some other reason.  Anyways the point is that I think there is some reason behind Rafay's vote.

My point was simply that you push that idea harder than most of us. I agree with you but I dont push that agenda quite as hard. Rafay obviously disagree's with lynching on day 1 and so "random voted" you out of spite, or has another reason. 

 

We still have several days to do some actual scum hunting so lets not bandwagon an inactive this early please. We can do that if no clear candidate has been found towards the end of the day.

We usually play 1/2 majority by deadline rules so it doesn't happen much. 

because a full majority forces the town to come to a conclusion in a sensible amount of time

if not, the town deserves the punishment for either being lazy or being indecisive

The point was simply that we still have a fair amount of time to scum hunt. Lynching an inactive is a last resort if we cannot find a good candidate. If we just end the day early lynching an inactive then we don't actually learn anything. and then we are back to day 1 but with 1 or 2 less townies. I'd rather get some discussion in and possibly some voting records before then.

Lyner is new so I would come to the conclusion that he is just used to a bit faster paced game than this.  I also still don't like Rafay's "random" vote on Kazio. It wasn't really random, though it has no in-game reason. So in the hopes of making him do more than just rage about having to lynch on day 1, here's some pressure.

d3mon is already at L-1 and he is yet to post

no one hammers him yet

 

if a person is at L-1, he should first be given the chance to roleclaim

 

if a player is still unconvinced, he must first post his intent to hammer

he should then wait for at least a day (this is to prevent ninja scum hammerers)

 

^failure do that and I'll automatically lynch you in the next day

Unvote, the basis of my vote was on Lyner for putting D3mon at L-2, and that point seems moot now. 

 

But Kazio's link was pretty interesting, so vote: Xarastier for letting scum have the opportunity to hammer and kill a townie, which is the scummiest act I've seen so far
