Now it seems that DPRK has moved two ready-to-launch missiles to their east coast. It is believed that they will be test fired instead of targeting installations in SK.

I think TW got it right. At some point N. Korea will have to make at least a small attack on the South to make the people and the upper military and politicians think that Un is a leader. Eventually Un will have threatened so much, he will have no choice other than attack something. The people of N. Korea is not going to force him to act, but I do belive the military and poloticians will. As for China, they would enter into the war, probably not officially, but they would provide support. I also believe China would send troops, planes, tanks and losts of stuff if it looked like we were close to taking over the whole country. They do no want a U.S./U.N. nation right on their border. They also don't want 2-3 million starving refugees in their country. I think the biggest problem for alll involved (S. Korea, U.S., China, and the U.N.) is that no one wants N. Korea to fall. If we did win the country, what are you suposed to do with an entire country that has no skills, no food, no infrastructure, and would take generations to get the brainwashing out of their heads? China doesn't want to deal with that, and I am sure the U.S. and the rest does not want to either. Those involved just want Un to behave.

Take this for what it's worth, but China has stated that they will not aid North Korea or defend them in any way if they are the aggressors in any conflict. Of course they will not want the U.S. right on their border, but for as much talk there is about it, I am sure that the U.S. and China could work something out at that point.

North Korea told diplomats today in their country that after April 10th they can not guarantee their safety inside the country anymore. What that really entails is anyone's guess. Most countries have chose to go about business as usual from what I have read.

I read the same thing. In my opinion the diplomats will stay unless war actually breaks out, or becomes imminent. They will be the flag that means it is getting real. That video was not that informative. The expert gave a very rudimentry look at what the military tactics would be. North Korea could fire these missles. The US & SK coalition would then blow up the launch sites. Specific targets would be taken out to limit NK's capabilities. That is basic strategy. The real fun will be the precision Tomahawk strikes, the laser guided bomber runs, and the American and South Korean special forces running through military targets in North Korea. His timeline seems right though. I would expect three to four days before the North is basically immobilized. That is when the real trouble will start. Like was stated above... Who wants that mess post war?

As everyone knows, if NK attacks everyone knows they will fall and it will happen rather quickly. The real question is how much damage they could potentially cause before overrun.

As everyone knows, if NK attacks everyone knows they will fall and it will happen rather quickly. The real question is how much damage they could potentially cause before overrun.

If they wanted to go down with a fight and seeing how they are all brainwashed Un-lovers then they could potentially detonate grounded-nukes or even just dirty-bombs within their borders, taking out UN/US/SK forces as well as harming their own citizens. I don't know if it would come to this, but you never know with NK.

Never fight a land war in asia, the U.S. Military knows this all too well. Expect weeks or even months of heavy heavy bombing if anything were to actually go down. However, the Obama Administration is already beginning to tone down their own rhetoric. I suspect some backroom deal will be made so Un can save a little face and the rest of the world can sleep a bit easier.

Like I said earlier, even if they do not have nuclear weapons that they can mount onto missiles they can still deliver "suitcase nukes" or dirty bombs, maybe not in the US here (although i'm sure they have hidden cells here) but definitely in SK and Seoul near the DMZ.
