i will say this however, i don't like blaskowicz's power, it looks, feels and sounds odd, same goes for your power, yates, and, to a smaller degree, EM's powers.
 
i seem to have drawn the short stick when powers were being handed down. same goes for Deer and Helix (he didn't even get to choose when his power activates)

Daniel claims BP - don't know how many shots but if it's a 1x vest or something like that? - common

EM claims the weirdest JOAT imaginable - JOAT isn't all that common but is typically made up of an investigation, protection, and kill [cop, doc, vig, RB being the "standard" JOAT. This is a non standard JOAT. I'm concerned people are glossing over the fact EM claimed an "empower" ability. No such ability exists on MS and that's the lynchpin of EM's reason for being on me N1 - a power that doesn't exist for a role that is already highly suspect.

blaskowicz claims neighborizing doctor - this role does not exist on MS nor does it pass the 'smell test.' We already have a neighborizer that is a straight role. No protections have been proven. EVERYTHING regarding the no kill last night could be as simple as "scum didn't kill last night in order to 'prove' blaskowicz's doc claim" You will notice this claim came out when I was still pretending to have turned into a watcher during my gambit? Gut tells me EM and blaskowicz didn't know that was a gambit and they assumed Town had all these exotic non normal roles. As you point out - we don't.

My role is BP Tracker - BP cop is fairly common - tracker is a weak cop - thus BP tracker is a weakened BP cop. I imagine the BP was added for balance since we had two killing factions [with the SK] and no clear alignment determining role in a game with many roles. Thus I'd have to eventually release a track report with a target on my back in a game where I'd likely be facing 2 killing roles [nailing the SK on D2 is fast work and not common for balance] with no doc protection. Plus, if EM *is* a mafia role cop? There's your perfect balance without breaking the game.

Addendum - since this was likely lost over the last however many pages:

There is a way that blaskowicz could be MOSTLY telling the truth.
He *could* be a doctor - like he said
He *could* be in a neighborhood with EM - like he said
His character claim *could* be Dr Ned - like he said
His flavor claim *could* be 90% of what he posted

The answer? Mafia Doc. Mafia doc would allow scum protection from an SK in a game where it should have been difficult to find him plus scum have their QT thus their "neighborhood" [we just call it the scum QT].

Here's what we "know" - the "doc" protected EM twice. How the doc got to EM N2 is not provable. The easiest and most straightforward way? He was the direct target for protection.

Also, if we have a vig, tonight would be the night to shoot after blaskowicz flips scum. That would be the final piece that would make scum doctor absolutely vitally balanced in this game as scum could be targeted by 2 killing factions and that would afford them protection.

I claimed no such thing. I'm pretty sure Sim was referring to Daniel? I do not know the alignment of anyone, period.

And when I mean nothing I mean nothing. Like it doesn't make much sense to me.. lying to the town is always a bad idea to prove that you are trustworthy, and to claim someone else is a townie based on no evidence (nothing that I have been given anyway) is a very bold claim. Didn't Daniel confirm this agreement with Sim? I don't know it was too long ago.

Everyone please remember that just because a few of us are acting as replacements does not make us copies of the original people. It would be mostly useless to ask me, Abigdeer, or any other replacement why our predecessors did X, Y, or Z because we are not them, we only have their powers. This is especially true if a good player replaced a bad player who did not really know the true power of his/her role, therefore judgements on our predecessors don't hold too much weight.

BP Tracker? Let's pretend for a second you are this weird incarnation of a JOAT. These are the possible night actions I could observe:

JOAT
Neighborizer
supposed doc
SK
Possible Vig
Scum
Some scummy investigator/blocker

That's a LOT of night action. Roughly 1/2 the game. And Tracking someone tells you zilch about someone's alignment - as you have all been quick to point out on numerous occasions. That's also 2-3 killing roles. So really, I'm not all *that* powerfull in the long run.

Balance.

If you replace either the JOAT with a Scum Role Cop or the Doc with a scum doc? Even LESS powerfull. Replace BOTH? You see where I'm going here?
