Electric Mango and the town players win. congrats guys!
Finally with all the snitches dead, it's time for our guys to make a daring escape.
**insert shooting scenes, action scenes, a fist fight scene and a funny scene with a donkey and a muscle car here.
after all that shooting and running, surprisingly all our remaining heroes manage to escape and meetup at the safe house
the credits roll as they count the loot and drink whiskey.
In the end the biggest danger facing the town was a townie.
The town was looking worried but luckily the scum were able to help save the town from itself.
the setup was actually made to make everyone not know what to think. believe it or not, there were actually 4 cops on the towns side.
I am also interested in seeing what the hell you did.
and now for the roles:
kaziocore iSocialism
Your role in this story is "Mr. Green", and you were brought to the team
because you're an Acrobat! Actually, you're more of a Contortionist,
and that might just be handy now that there's suddenly a lot of
handcuffs around (this will give you some automatic immunity to cop-like
actions, like a Bulletproof Vest in a normal game).
You have no Night actions, but you stand a good chance of escaping from
custody should it be imposed on you. You'll win with the true criminals
in this place.
note: bulletproof. will get night killed by the vig though and caught if both cops target him
LordRagnar
Your role in this story is "Mr. White", and up until today you were just
a Common No-Name Hood! However now that the job's gone sour, you've
realized some depth of resolve deep inside yourself, and you're gonna
try to help find out who the rat fink is.
Each Night, you may send me the name of a player you'd like to snoop
around and try to find out what side they're really on (in other words,
you're a type of Investigator). You will win if the crooks make it out
of here alive..
note: paranoid cop. always gets "Cop" results
Imran Ehsan
Your role in this story is "Mr. Magenta" Crime Lord! You put this heist
together, and now you're right in the middle of it with the boys.
However since you hired them, it's possible you'll be able to help sort
out who is loyal and who's a rat.
Each Night, send me the name of a player you wish to rack your brains
about. Before morning, I'll tell you what you remember about them (so
essentially, you're an Investigator). You win with the crooks,
obviously.
note: sane cop, always gets the correct results.
KevinH
Your role in this story is "Mr. Pink", and you're a Fucking Psycho!
You've got a twitchy trigger finger and a sick sense of humor, and
things aren't getting better now that the job's been compromised!
However, you're not afraid to take action...
Each Night, you may, if you choose, send me the name of a player you'd
like to 'interrogate', err torture, well, really just kill (and how
you'd like to do it). Despite your antisocial tendencies, you really do
win with the criminal mob (you're a Vigilante, in other words)
note: regular vigilante, point and shoot
PerfectMafia
Your role in this story is "Mr. White", more commonly known as... well,
let's not get into that right now. See, you're an undercover LAPD
officer! You've been assigned to infiltrate this den of thieves and help
bring them to justice, not to be a cowboy. Therefore you're not going
to be killing *anybody*, directly.
Instead, at Night you can handcuff a player and toss them outside for
the backup officers to arrest and take care of all legal-like. While
you'd like them to think that you want to win with the crooks, you're
actually trying to get them all arrested or neutralized somehow. Rumor
has it there's also a Fed around here somewhere, but you have no idea
who... (effectively, you're a 1-man Mafia)you can also safely claim to be a hacker (you can hack into the
security cameras inside the warehouse and keep an eye on one of you
(essentially a watcher) )
note: scum. if he handcuffs the FBI agent they will recognize each other and be able to talk at night although they keep their night actions separate.
Robert2424
Your role in this story is "Mr. White"and you're a Crime Lords Son !
You're young and inexperienced, but you've grown up at your father's
feet learning his trade, and it's possible you can tell who the fink is.
Each Night, send me the name of a player you wish to go intimidate. I'll
let you know what you find out (you're an Investigative role, in other
words). You win with the crooks, in case that wasn't clear.
note: 50% sane cop. if he fails, he gets "no result" instead of the wrong one. if the real cop dies he gets half of his info as a dying breath
Commander Shepard
Your role in this story is "Mr. Green", and you were hired as the
Security Expert! In this rustic setting, however, you're going to have
to be a little more creative with your skills to help find the snitch.
Each Night you may send me the name of a player to snoop on; I'll let
you know if they get up to go somewhere, and who they are hanging out
with in the dark. You win if the gang succeeds in escaping from here.
note: will know who his target visits but not what he did there.
Lyner
Your role in this story is "Ms. Burgundy", Professional Seducer. You're a
hot female crook with enough balls to play with the big boys, but right
now you're all business. There's no time for fun when there's a rat in
the house, but maybe you can use your assets to your advantage.
Each Night, you may try to seduce a player and find out who they're
really working for (making you a special type of Investigator). You win
with the crooks in this scenario.
note: naive cop, always gets the "crook" result
zenonia
Your role in this story is "Mr. White", and you were hired as the Safe
Cracker! In fact, your skill at getting locks undone is generally
applicable, and may become moreso now that there's somebody with
regulation-issue handcuffs around.
Each Night you may send me the name of a player to check on; if they are
tied up or restrained when you find them, you'll probably be able to
set them free (you have a protective role, much like a Doctor). You win
if the criminal gang gets out of here safely.
note: cannot prevent vig kills
Sweeeeet Ronny D
Your role in this story is "Mr. Cyan", more commonly known as... well,
that's not important right now. You see, you're actually an undercover
FBI Agent! You've been sent to bring down this crime syndicate and
deliver them to justice, not to be a Dirty Harry. Therefore you're not
going to be killing *anyone*, directly.
Instead, at Night you handcuff crooks and push them outside for the
local cops to book and process. While you'd like them to think that you
want to win with the crooks, you're actually trying to get them all
arrested or killed somehow. Rumor has it there's also a local Cop around
here somewhere, but you have no idea who... (effectively, you're a
1-man Mafia)You can also safely claim to be a restrainer. (Each night you can choose to block someone's actions).
note: scum. if he handcuffs the LAPD officer they will recognize each other and be able to talk at night although they keep their night actions separate.
Electric Mango
Your role in this story is "Mr. Purple", and you were hired as the
Getaway Driver! Unknown to everyone else, however, you're also a Paid
Snitch, working with law enforcement from the inside (this role is
commonly labeled a Traitor). Just as you got this job, you found out
that PerfectMafia and Sweeeet Ronny D are the rats in the cage; they
don't know that you know what they know, though... you know?
You have no Night actions, I'm afraid; merely your own survival instinct
to get out of this alive. And that's precisely what you'll need to do
to win this game.
note: will win if he doesn't get vig killed or lynched.
LordZetano
Your role in this story is "Mr. Grey", but more importantly, you're also
Quentin Tarantino a in a Directors Cameo! It's unlikely you'll play a major
part in the story, except you DO know how it's going to end, kinda.
During the Night, you send me a question about something in the game.
Your answer will come in the form of theme music/a picture/video clip or
whatever i find appropriate, at some point during the following Day.
You win with the crooks in this script.
note: i wanted this role to live past the 1st day :/

Well, now I know. Another win for me. Now I gotta finish my setup for the next mafia game. Misfit game.

And you all thought I was crazy about thinking the scum didn't know who each other were It was an interesting game though.

it might just be the only one you will ever play that is like this
Edited by LordRagnar, 21 March 2014 - 12:34 PM.
that is the first time i have ever played a game as a scum where we didnt know who each other were. I gotta say I am not a fan.
Classified Intel on Empire of Imran:
I didn't know what I didn't know.
The layout seemed fine and there weren't many false investigations revealed to really throw us off track. The "no results" could have been anything and Imran knew something was amiss when he posted his results.
Townies got lucky when we lynched a scum early. The information from that vote was very helpful. (Although you could argue that i wrongly used the vig-kill a couple of times partly based on that information).
Kevinh, if were on the scum team then you would have had a good game with these results even if you still lost as scum.
Although I'm still stunned how you were open to possibly lynching another townie based on past voting despite making the same mistake 3 times in a row.
