  1. We are absolutely doing this if I ever come to Vegas in the foreseeable future.
  2. Yes, but now I feel old since I'm reminded that the film came out in November 2003. Ha! I didn't even think of that. Shit, we are old.
  3. Great video, thanks Lys! I enjoyed that movie when it came out.
  4. Congrats buddy. Just remember, this is a long term thing and you'll get the cravings for quite some time. I quit 3 and a half years ago. I had smoked for about 16 years, a pack a day on average. One day, due to a number of reasons, I quit, and have not touched a cigarette since. Despite the cravings (particularly during the first 6 months) there eventually comes a day when you have gone too long without one to ever consider having another one again...and when that day comes it's truly over. How long it takes to get to that day depends on the individual (it took me quite a while), but hope you get that day sooner rather than later, brother!
  5. Shit Rhizo, sorry to hear about all this. My thoughts are with you and your family.
  6. I feel privileged that you shared this story with us. Glad to hear that things are on the mend and your kid is doing better. I'd also like to echo SM's view on addiction...I have some experience seeing addiction and what it does, first hand. It destroys people, turning them into shells of what they used to be.
  7. As in the all night music vids on tv? I used to watch that all the time when I lived in Melbourne. Can't believe it's still around.
  8. 15 million now. Life is short, and 15 million is more money than the vast majority of the people in this world could ever get their hands on. Count youself blessed and put some away...use the rest to make yourself and the people you love happy.

  10. One of my all time favorite shows...haven't watched season 4 yet, but now I will with apprehension!
  11. The only reason he has to drop would be to make a statement with an endorsement. Nobody really notices he's still in the race. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/post-politics/wp/2016/02/12/jim-gilmore-ends-2016-presidential-bid/
  12. Nicely done!
  13. Had some friends in prison, even visited a max security women's prison here in California a couple of years ago. I don't have personal experience, but do know a fair amount of second hand knowledge should you be curious about anything in particular
  14. Still doing the restaurant thing on the side? Or just solely being a student? Technically I'm still a Director of the company but that's only in name and not in practice. I consider myself a full time student now, which is an interesting concept at the age of 35!
  15. Was in the restaurant business for 12 years and now I'm back in school...as a Computer Science freshman
  16. Then you would hate the Singapore ---> LA flight I just suffered through. 19 hours of flying time with a 2 hour lay over in Tokyo, followed by a 3 hour drive to my final destination. Needless to say I'm not exactly thrilled by the idea of my return trip in December.

Wow can't wait. This may be what Vince and Colin need to breathe new life into their careers. The writing on True Detective is amazing. So how's season two so far? I'm waiting until I arrive in the US to binge watch it.
