Getting western investors to start investing in the North Korean economyB.To rival Singapores new Westin Stamford hotel, built by a south Korean companyC. To make North Korea's Pyonyang a tourist destination for westerners and the Chinese could go on vacation(Sigh) The reason why it looks so weird it that it was never finished; The North Korean Government literally ran out of money. The half finished building has just been sitting there for years as a concrete shell, and is likely going to be like that many years to come.
