Nah just disappointed. I'm sure you could have found a MUCH way to lampoon me than just calling me a scary old lady who lives in a shoe XD

 

But ah yes - the age-old Lynch/No-Lynch debate!

 

My thoughts thus far:

This being a CLOSED game setup, we have no idea what we can potentially rely on in the night phases. There could be an investigative role, or there could only be roles to protect (doctor, jailer, bulletproof) or prematurely end (vigilante, serial killer) lives. There could be surprises, and we'll deal with them as they happen - but until then, deferring until day 2 won't reliably help us. If the only info we get is the identify of someone nightkilled, we'll have no idea what to DO with that information. We don't want to wait until the roleclaims start coming out to begin drawing sides. At minimum we need to get a good voting record going, and then see how it plays from there.

My opinion on the no-lynch debate has been take it as it comes with the day. If we have a lot of info by the end of the day provided by how people act, lynching probably won't provide much more and will just be an unnecessary loss. That being said, we're unlikely to get much info on Day 1.

 

If we have very little info at the end of the day, lynching won't provide much either, as whoever it was that was lynched won't provide much info either, has we have nothing to go on. However, we have a lot of people, so that probably won't happen.

 

If we have a fairly normal amount of info, then lynching is usually a good option. We have enough info to go on, but not so much that it will have been unnecessary to get more, compared to the loss of a townie.

 

That being said, it's page two so i'm getting 1 random vote in at least.

Without a role, but I could post in the thread, I decided to pull a random story from childhood and choose a random name on the list. Since you were scum last time, and I pointed it out, before I died just makes it more funny. 

 

So if I say who the scrum team is via my detective work, am I going to NKed again? I know the odds are against me predicting the scum team, but i find it rather interesting. 

 

While, I don't much like day 1 lynch's, there is something called, jumping to early on the no lynch band wagon to me. Kevin and Nick jumping on together so quickly is mildly disturbing. We need conversations and action to gain info. No lynchs provide nothing if we all vote no lynch on page 2...

 

Therefore, I gonna vote, and be entirly unethical on reading the player list.

Last time I was the Mod, not scum; easy mistake to make, I know   Though I will agree you DID list both the scum as suspects on day 1 that game. Maybe that's part of why they killed you! If you manage to do it again - who knows?

 

On a more serious note, your Kazio vote I don't disagree with - yeah, we need to get everyone posting. Protip for all the new players; post early, post often! If you go silent for an extended period of time, that CAN be used against you!
