Unreal what has unfolded in regards to the damage people have caused.  I'm not going to sit here and argue if the result of the verdict is right or wrong in my opinion, however, what the people are doing is not right.  They're taking it out on people's business's and personal property, along with stealing from companies/people who had nothing to do with the whole incident.  I think there are many that are using this whole thing as a reason to steal and loot, and care nothing about the actual verdict.  

 

It's a real shame.  I am all for people having the right to protest and speak their opinion if they feel justice wasn't served....however there are many that are going beyond that and doing criminal acts to innocent companies/people who played no part in what they believe was injustice.

I'm sure you're talking about George Zimmerman and Trayvon Martin in the first case. This is a totally different case than the Micheal Brown case. Zimmerman was a neighborhood watch guy that was attacked by a bad boy and he killed him. He was indicted and brought to trial. A 12 person jury found him innocent by reason of self defense. You can disagree with it, even get angry about it, but it's the law. Commiting more crime because you don't like the verdict is unacceptable.

 

Darren Wilson is a police officer. Trained to protect and serve the community... he is authorized to use his weapon to enforce the law. Micheal Brown was a bad boy and he attacked a police officer. He was killed. A 12 person Grand Jury heard the case and determined that Darren Wilson acted properly and within his charged duties. No indictment on all charges. You can disagree with it, even get angry about it, but it's the law. Commiting more crime because you don't like the verdict is unacceptable.

 

If I was a cop and a 260 pound dude was beating on my face... I would not shoot him 6 times... I would empty the clip.

I think that a cop shooting a teenager of any ethnicity may be bad if it was unsolicited but what has been proven time and time again is that it was solicited and equality demands that we do not demonize actions that were taken by people only if they are of one ethnicity. I highly doubt it was racism of any kind I think a cop got attacked he used excessive force in return was it warrented Im not sure but I know that the riots are unacceptable seeing as the law was upheld in a court of law and determined by a 12 person grand jury and the fact that race even plays a part in whether you have the right to abuse a officer of the law is ridiculus and it represents a inequality we will not be capable of fixing untill we forget about race as a factor in society at all.

Well people say this shooting could be racially motivated. Also the grand jury process was inadequate and shitty in my opinion. There was the ignorant prosecutor that had a controversial background that makes him look shit in this case.They never allowed the other side to cross examine him. I still don't understand why he didn't use a Tazer not a lethal weapon. All cops should have one it doesn't matter he or she wanted or not. That's what the training is for.

I also agree what you said about the law. And I also agree with the statement of Rand Paul who said he blames the politicians for this mess.

It was a Grand Jury. There is no defense attorney. It's a legal proceeding to determine if there should be a trial.

As long as race can be used as an excuse in the law, then race will be used as an excuse.

Solve this by not allowing race to enter into any court. The first person that brings up race... they lose.

Oh I know it was a grand jury. They already did mention it this still goes back to the pre-Civil war era except in a different form of a case. Well race exists in every case it's a win or die situation. Not necessarily if you bring up race and have a sufficient evidence to back it up then you don't.

Also on a side note how would you explain the Eric Garner case? Is choke holding justifiable under law when the state of New York banned it years ago?

There is a Grand Jury hearing the Eric Garner case now.

If the chokehold is an illegal method to subdue a suspect, then this cop is in big trouble.

He will probably face a manslaughter charge and do some time. It makes no difference if the victim is black.

Chokeholding is illegal in NYC since 1992 so he's most likely to be charged with it. The paramedics should be charged too because they literally did nothing when their job is to save lives and not just sit and stand there.

I brought this one up because it has to the police in very different scenarios and with similar motivations.

I don't know what the friends video shows, but if he was already dead they can't say the EMT's did anything wrong.

If they let him die then there will be trouble for them. None of this gives excuse for Sharpton to cause trouble.

He should be arrested, more than once, for inciting violence.

Where's the riots when a non-black kid gets shot or killed? Oh, wait. It doesn't even make it past the local news! People die, it happens all the time around here. Recently, a local white man in his 80's was beaten to death in his own store during a robbery by a young black man. It's unfortunate. But I feel like if it was the shop owner was black and it was a young white man, Al Sharpton would be on the case pulling out his extremely worn out race card. Should I start a riot seeing as I'm White? Nah, I'm not a shitty person. People should understand that these things happen and let the law deal with it, as the justice system is less biased than the general populace. But of course nobody is perfect..think of the OJ case...the general consensus is that he did it although he was found not guilty. People like Sharpton are puppets, fear mongering and creating tension between citizens for whatever reason, if there is any conspiracy here that's the one.

The paramedics didn't do anything after he was suffocating to death. The police officer didn't even respond to his plead. That wouldn't matter he would be like the Martin Luther King Jr.

The teen was UNARMED, shooting a human being in the head after he had already been shot is ridiculous. This cop may not have wanted to kill Michael Brown specifically, but he wanted to kill somebody that day and that is just wrong on so many levels.

I can walk the streets safely in the UK for most of the part, because our general force do not carry firearms.
