well as far as I heared, no witness was found, credible or uncredible. Always did wonder about his friend yeah, but I guess he buggered off between the first stop and the incident itself half a minute later.

I don't know why he was never mentioned, both on being around or not being around. As far as my knowledge of the incident goes, the friend went *poof* moments before it.

well hiding doesn't bode well for knowing what happended, he could have been discredited due to the location of his hideout.

 

I have seen a pdf file with the grand jury transcript for this, it was almost 5k pages, I aint sifting thruw that >_>

I have a better idea. Let's replace your firearms laws with those of Engeland or any other country for that matter for a couple of weeks. After that you can ask your gun back. You'll probably don't want it back.

I feel as though I should point some things out about this.

 

1. They guy was a beast at 6'4" and 292 pounds. You might say this information don't matter but let somebody that big punch you in the face with their weight behind it. It's going to cause some damage. Therefor being unarmed really doesn't matter when you can use your body as a weapon.

 

2.  The kid was not just some innocent guy walking down the street with him friend. He was a criminal that had just engaged in a criminal act and was caught on video. The officer was just doing his job and investigating a suspect that matched the description he had heard over his radio.

 

 

3. Race had nothing to do with this. A black cop just shot an unarmed white man in Salt Lake City UT. No riots funny how that works. Those people just used it as an excuse and it sickens me. Specially when we have celebrities and even the white house going to this thugs funeral but none of them take a bit of time to go to a single soldiers funeral.

 

4. People are forgetting that this officer was outnumbered 2-1 since it has already been stated that he was walking with the friend that helped him rob the gas station.

 

You can sit there and say that taking a life of an unarmed man is never justified but when you have a family at home that you want to make it back to and you are in a situation that can potentially end up with you never seeing them again you will think twice.

Ah Ha! So the real issue comes out. It's not about an unarmed man getting killed. Trust me, he had some big arms attached to those fists. It's not about race or discrimination. It's not about police brutality or excessive use of force. It's not about lying witnesses, Grand Juries, or corrupt Judges... It's about disarming the American citizens. It's always about taking away the guns.

 

I don't know about anyone else. I have lived in the United States of America all my life. There is one thing we do not do, and that is trust the government. We elect Presidents, Senators, Congressmen, Governors, Judges, and Sheriffs. That is just the top layers, because there is much more to it. Who is the boss?... We the people. How is it possible? Because we have guns.

 

It has been part of the deal since the start. We have a Constitution and a Bill of Rights, and it lays it out pretty damn clear that the power is in the people, and it will forever stay there... unless of  course, two-thirds of the House, and two-thirds of the Senate decide we're surrendering our guns, and our power, to the government. Even then it would have to go to each state legislature to be ratified where you need three-fourths of that. This will never happen, so give up... please.

Then how do you explain the mass shooting as justifiable? I do respect that weapons are necessary for self-defense especially areas for large country like the US. But I never get the problem why other parts of the world rarely have mass shootings by a gunman. This is a thought that has been with me when talking about gun relating issues. I know the 2nd amendment will never repealed from the Bill of Rights and the Constitution itself. It would be a stupid idea to think of that.

Oh I agree with that statement you can't take them away .  The law that passes are certain firearms such as assault weapons are prohibited but likewise the rest are allowed with a license. The NRA will certainly rebel if guns were outlawed

I guess that chokehold was not as illegal as you think. No indictment in the Garner case and it was an even larger Grand Jury with even more African Americans on it. But of course, all the race baiters know much better than every professional and elected official actually involved with making these decisions... so more stores will burn I'm sure.

 

Edit: I just saw a demonstration and an explaination on the chokehold ruling. It was not a chokehold that was used and you can clearly see it on the video. The hold is called the "seatbelt" and there is no contact with the windpipe. Very legal way to apprehend a resisting perp.

I don't understand why people are getting so pissed at the police. Granted I'm not a fan of the cops myself but in both cases discussed here the person had committed a crime and resisted arrest. I have a solution. Don't do illegal shit and the cops won't bother you and if they do bother you that's a whole other ball game.

Because he was lying on his chest and probably having a heart attack... tends to happen when you weigh like 400 lbs.

Illegal was the key word, a half dozen cops with orders to arrest him, and he was resisting. 

New York City is very serious about their cigarette taxes. My advice if you want to sell illegal cigs... do it in a red state.

I feel bad for this guy and his family, but it's the police. Just stop being a criminal and shut up.
