I would rather take out the experienced active scum first. Plus lynching Preston and finding scum confirms EM as town. If Preston is townie, we know EM is probably scum.

And I want to hear Rafay say whether he targeted you or not first.  If he tracked you and you targeted Preston then I will believe you are town after we kill Mario and Preston, both are scum, and Kevin says we won.

I also don't think EM is scum regardless of whether Preston is scum or town.  There is the outside chance that both are telling the truth and that Preston was roleblocked and got a no result.  Don't get me wrong, I feel strong that Preston is scum, but I feel the same about Nick/Mario. and for the 3-scum team to work right and believe all the claims from N1, then Nick/Mario has the ability to kill and did so on N1.

Wow, a LOT of posts since my last. People are really active tonight. Unfortunately I cannot stay up much longer - which is really dangerous given EM's push against me, because my doctor didn't block a strong arrow or say I was roleblocked.

 

One problem with the theory about me being a strongman that worked despite being jailed - I'm a JOAT, not a strongman, and Imran has confirmed this. Unless you want to assume my JOAT is *also* a strongman, I cannot have fired that strong arrow last night. The only way I would then fit into the scenario is as the one doing the roleblocking - but if I was jailed, I could not have roleblocked ABD last night, and he *was* blocked. There's a contradiction here. Not all of the pieces fit.

 

Another interesting piece that's come out of this is Nick having targeted ABD last night; it was as much of a surprise to me as hearing that Kaz visited Robert last night, given that both Kaz and Nick have been inactive and hardly present on the forums at all.

 

Consider instead now what if EM were the scum strongman instead of the jailer he claims to be. The whole thread knows Imran was blocked Night 1, so it's simple to take credit for it. Either limited or waiting on Night 1, EM could have fired the normal scum arrow in addition to d3mon's vigilante arrow, and a scum roleblocked Imran. Night 2 EM fired his strong arrow at Lyner, and the scum roleblocker (Nick?) blocked ABD.

 

In list form:

Night 1:

EM (Strongman): Fires scum faction arrow

d3mon (JOAT): Fires vigilante arrow

Nick? (Roleblocker): blocks Imran

 

Night 2:

EM (Strongman): Fires strong arrow, kills Lyner

d3mon (JOAT): dead

Nick? (Roleblocker): blocks ABD

This would mean the scum ignored their faction arrow on night 2 in favor of the strongman shot, but blocking ABD for protection is a reasonable reason to do so.

 

This fits the demonstrated/observed facts far more than the fare you're selling, EM.

Also I think you are not a strongman killer only. I think you are a JOAT but you have one or multiple "strong" arrows to shoot with. Probably one as you didn't use it on the first night.

I saw that and he hinted at it, but I want to hear him say it.

I will even add that I think he did and that everything you posted is true and that we have this wrapped up, but just in case we don't and we kill Preston and omg he is town, we aren't going to paint EM as scum and miss again.  The only other person who could have shot Lyner would have been you and that means Rafay is a scum tracker as well if he says you targeted Preston and Preston is town.  When EM said he role-blocked Preston, I had you down as Goblin Strongman who was blocked on night one.  Like I said, I am probably wrong, and maybe that role doesn't work on strongman, but if Rafay says he didn't track you and just threw it out there to see what you'd say, then we different answers.

 

I am holding my vote and hope others do as well until we get complete answers.  I also want Kaz to confirm what he did last night.  Just to tie a bow on this.

I would be more confident in lynching Mario over Preston, that is my preference. But yeah, my reasoning for suspecting Preston (should have stated this above before) is that we already had a townie JOAT but now that the scum have lost one as well, I don't know what to think.

Yeah I visited Robert last night to check if he has arrows and he has one.

I am guessing it is because he is a JOAT and used the tracker role on you.  If he has the same one shot roles as I do, he should have at least two arrows remaining; cop, vigilante, and fletcher all show with arrows and he used cop on Lyner N1.  Does it give a specific number (one) or just say he has an arrow?

 

Just need to hear from Rafay and feel confiedent we have this wrapped up.

Well yes, I will continue to show I have arrows until I use my fletcher role and vig role. It does show that in my my role PM also. Though that really isn't important to me. My choices and role aren't hard to guess, its mainly to verify townies and find scum, though the tracking is insignificant now due to TBR investigating Kazio.

I would love to do that, but it would be great to hear Rafay post and quit acting like a scum tracker who figures if we can knock out the Preston vote maybe he can slip under the radar.  I may be completely crazy and we ended up having such an over-powered town with 2 JOAT, 2 Trackers, a Jailkeeper, a Fletcher, a Cop, a Role Cop, and a Watcher vs 3 scum or just maybe there are 4 scum and we had 2 JOAT, 1 Tracker, a Jailkeeper, a Fletcher, a Cop, a Role Cop, and a Watcher to their 3 JOAT (some with strongman ability) and tracker.

 

I may be overhtinking this, but in case I am night killed next, i really want to make sure all the town are set with the best information:

 

- I want Rafay to roleclaim and post his action for N2.

- I want Mario to post and tell us why he targeted ABD and attempt to convince us why he isn't scum and shouldn't be getting lynched the following day.

- I want ABD to clarify if he attempted to watch Preston for the 2nd night in a row or if he watched Lyner on N2 (read his posts agin, he said Preston twice and then Lyner) - not pointing at you for being scummy again and certainly don't want to give scum the avenue to paint a new story

 

Honestly, I am questioning my decision to to share my information so early last night before Mario posted and told us anything, but with Robert tossing my name out there I didn't want this to get out of control and find a lynch wagon on me and then my claim to sound like a weak attempt to save myself.

 

- I'd love to see if Preston tried a new spin on this or if he is resigned to being lynched today.

 

 

 

Kevin, could we get nudge for Rafay?  He has no reason to not roleclaim with all the cards on the table from everyone else and he absolutely needs to clarify his action for N2.  It would be wonderful if Mario could post as well.  I saw him reading the therad yesterday and I know he has pages to get through, but we should at least hear him say something before this day ends.

I think Preston has gave up, he should of posted like 5 + times but has avoided the thread. 

 

As for balancing, it does seem a bit sided towards Town. Its hard to give anybody a power and it to be balanced. This has been a fun game though. Idk about D3mon or preston having fun now, but its been fun for me. If there is 4 scum though, that may complicate things. But I don't see how there is 4, and we still hold advantage. While 4 be more balanced for mafia, it would put a good chance on them winning also. Idk, its hard to say without knowing every role for sure. This isn't one of my setups, so can't really say much.

N1 I used a cop role on you.  If I am being honest, I was a little paranoid you could be a Goblin Godfather when all that came back was your were with the alliance after reading all the roles from a website Kevin linked me to.  I was expecting something clearer, but it was my first ever night action and I didn't know what else it should say.  After thinking about it, I realized I just had to move forward like you were town and helping look for scum.

So judging by Preston's unusual silence and the overwhelming amount of evidence against him, J think we all can agree that he is most definitely guilty. Lets put him out of his misery.
