I told Rafay prior to accepting that I'd be a little inactive this week; I've got family coming in this weekend, so LOTS of time is being spent preparing for that. It looks like there are two lynch wagons in play; Imran and mariomario. This is an opportunity for both sides to frame the debate for someone with fresh eyes to see if your arguments hold up.

What stood out to me was a random vote for iS0 along with "His posts looks scummy to me" as your logic. Basically nothing new but a typical bandwagon for a quick lynch.

 

I saw that the accusations agaist me were basically 2 things:

a. i was inactive on Day 1

b. my vote on Isocialsm, before i voted EM.

However the bandwagoners still stayed on my wagon without even trying to refute my defense. Their respose has been "clap hands on ear and say lalala to my posts, while frothing at the mouth with posts like, he has no defense, his defense is inadequate, he is scum, all his posts are scum". Note that no one tried to say why my explanations where scummy or why the posts i made does not make sense. They were pretty much ignored.

 

od and interesting thing that happened was when Samoos or someone else (?) pointed out that mario was bandwagoning (he did the same thing on day 1, emy quickly unvoted posting "imran's defense is good" followed by a quick unvote from mario. Then when pointed out that that is backpedalling, the heroic duo of mario and emy quickly put their votes back on again. Since then it has been nothing but the kinds of posts from above,  lalalallal, imran is scum from mario and emu with iSO and spaztik gone off to lurk mode. I see no point in responding to those really.

Not even close.  You haven't given any analysis on who you think is scum or why they are scum, no debate on how many scum you think there are or why anyone was targeted, you haven't commented on me saying I know there are two scum teams with at least five scum remaining.  You look no less scummy today then when I called you out.

 

In my same analysis I called out mario for his actions but attribute it to him being new.  Had this not been a reboot and if I wasn't sure he got a new role, he'd be at the top of my list.  We are at 7 town and 5 scum and nobody is sharing any useful information.  No way town wins this game.

This is based on the only confirmed scum killing we have, Samoos was suspicious of kevin on Day 1, Big Ego had voted for kevin. They may be scum trying to vote for their buddy in the case kevin is revealed as scum. But that possibility is very, they had no way of knowing kevin will be killed at night and be revealed. So Samoos and kevin get townie points.

 

My primary list of scum are the 3 bandwagoners on my wagon: spaztik (self declared lurker after putting the bandwagon vote and mario and emu who are working in tandem voting and unvoting and building wagons. At first I was leaning towards you (TBR) as townie based on the analysis (wrong deductions though) you posted on Day 2. But since then I have very strong suspicions of you being one of the scum as well. It is clear you are not scum hunting (proved by selective ignorance of my posts) and bringing up new points to paint me as scum. Like I said somewhere before, you look like a man on a mission, to lynch me whatever it takes. You are not scum hunting.

 

About the others I have no read yet. Most havent posted much or taken a strong stance one way or the other. iSocialism i am leaning towards town, he had valid concerns as i was accusing him as scum on day 1, others are all bandwagoning with TBR leading the charge.

I want to try and give you any benefit of doubt Imran because for town to win we need a strong vet or two, but nothing you post helps.  You spend more time trying to convince us why you aren't scum then why someone else is scum and then when you do post your list you have very shallow reasons.  Notice how I don't even respond to your weak attempts to paint me as scum?  It's because I know I am not and I know what I've posted and how I've posted reflects the same.  Scum stays in the shadows or tries to ride with the flow.  They don't lead the charge to scum hunt.  They aren't sure who may have investigated them and what secrets were obtained.

 

Why is Shamus strong town?  Maybe he is on your scum team and you guys didn't realize Kevin was on the others cum team?

Same reason I am not kiving townie points to Kazio. He voted kevin in the RVS and then went inactive. emu's vote was when it was pretty clear EM is going to get lynched and it didnt even stay that long. it may have been just for show. that is why you are the most likely of all to be scum followed by spaztik amongst my short list of scum.

 

I see Imran as dodging our questions more than we dodge his. You have been too vague or have not answered our questions at all. IF you are town, but you certainly are not, as emu said, you could have screwed the town over.

How are me and mario working as a team? He unvotes and votes for whatever I vote quite honestly. I hate to say it but now it seems my vote has transfered to being a OMGUS vote and it seems like its time I correct that. I dont want to lynch another townie and I now firmly believe Imran is not scum.

I am in a state in confusion on the wagon on mario. The main justification for it was a rather scummy attack by Samoos where he basically outlines that mario was scum last time and screwed things up so therefore Rafay would make him mafia again just to screw with us? Imran clearly joined it just to save his own skin which will throw town under the bus too in the end messing him up. The disturbing thing to me is that the town has no actual evidence as to who might be mafia that convinces me. As per now I dont have a vote and for us true townies it may just be over.

Hey all. Just got home, and I'm reading over the thread - though with all going on it may be a little late tonight for me to have time to do a FULL post. I'll aim for tomorrow if I can't manage it tonight. In the meantime it looks like my question/opportunity to frame the debate with a summary has generated some good discussion! I'll definitely be looking to see if the facts support how Imran has described events. I'll also note that mario's holding up his newness as a defense is interesting - and while NOT a final opinion, joke-votes do not tend to sit right with me after Day 1 is over. In games like this, townie have to try and think like scum and use that to their advantage. If I were scum and I had a wagon against me I would obviously defend myself, but i'll also pick one other person to try and shift the wagon towards, to give me more of a chance of surviving.

 

Imran hasn't chosen anyone specifically to shift the wagon towards, he's looking at 3 or so candidates and I think he has been very spot on with his assumptions, with that said I honestly don't believe Imran is scum, if we lynch another innocent townie, scum will have this game in their hands no question asked.

 

Personally my vote is on mario, i'm not even 100% sure he is scum, but his sporadic voting just looks too suspicious for me, like he's trying to just force a quick lynch on whoever the wagon falls on so his scum partners can get their night kill faster, but yeah I have a good feeling there is scum within the 3 Imran mentioned voted for him.
