Yeah it looks like my initial assessment was right. Scum team + SK + Vig. The vig was probably a one-shot role as there were only 2 kills in the night. So not 2 teams of scum. Psychiatrist = SK is present. My list from day 2 suspects are still valid although TBR has turned out townie. This means my short-list is down to emu and spaztik. I am also highly suspicious of the lurkers: ovidsidios and preston who hasnt posted much.

But we need to think - if we have a SK, would they be so Dexter Morgan? Would they by day be quite fair in the public eye, whilst preparing their cling-film for night time fun?

Final Mod Comments: Well I enjoyed the game as a mod. It was a new and exciting experience for me and it was thrilling. I knida wanted the town to win but to be honest the town really didn’t play well with reasoning. They were easily manipulated by the mafia into following them on who to lynch. I’m not taking away anything from the mafia they played a helluva game but the town was a weaker opponent. The town power roles all missed their shots, there was no strategy for example after Hippo role claimed no one protected him. There was inactivity in the town’s ranks which was another advantage for the mafia. The D3 was the summary of the game really. No effort from the town and all heart from the mafia. It was inevitable in the end. Anyway I hope all the players enjoyed as much as I did. It was fun while it lasted. What are your thoughts/opinions/suggestions for me and the game?

MVP(Mod’s Choice)= Master Samus; I think Master Samus played amazingly for a guy who claims it was his second only mafia game. He never led the town on him and that’s why he deserves this award. He was impressive in manipulating the town that led to the ultimate mafia victory.

 

Player of Town: Imran; I think Imran was the best player of the town by far. Not only did he defend himself well but also made reasonable and intelligent posts throughout the game. Had he had a few more good men on his side and a little luck with investigations, surely he could’ve pulled off a miracle victory for the town.

 

 

Player of Mafia; Master Samus/emudevelopment (shared); I think both were instrumental in the town’s defeat. Both were manipulative and deceptive. They clearly came out as pro-town and looked like de-facto town leaders. They led the lynch wagon w/o anyone uncovering their true motives.

 

 

Best Play; Lord Hippo perfectly roleclaiming to eliminate Electric Mango.

I blew it not protecting Hippo N1 and I knew it right away when the results were posted.  I was thinking we'd for sure have someone watch him and wasn't sure the mafia would hit such an obvious target.  That was a noob mistake.  I was sold on Samus being town D1 and perhaps it was my inner mafia (who would I kill if I was scum?) telling me he needed to be protected.
