Setup

Mechanics

• Daystart
• Every player who is a Doctor is not told which version they are, and will be revealed as "Doctor"
• Doctors who protect only stop a single nightkill
• Weak Doctor dies if it targets a Mafia Goon (and isn't protected themself)
• CPR Doctor saves their target from a nightkill, but if the player isn't actually targeted for a nightkill, the CPR Doctor kills them instead.
• Paranoid Doctor is the functional equivalent of a Jailkeeper
• Quack Doctor kills their target instead of protecting them, the functional equivalent of a Vigilante
• Naive Doctor does nothing at all
• Nurse becomes the role of the first Doctor to die.

• Endgame Ruling: Mafia win when they control 50% of the town, regardless of whichever Doctor(s) are still alive.

The Rules

Sample role PM:

Welcome, [Player Name], you are a Town Doctor.
Abilities:
Each night phase, you may use a "protection" action on a player in the game. You're not exactly sure what you will do, though.
Win condition:
You win when all threats to the town have been eliminated and there is at least one town player alive.

 

• During the Day phase, each player may speak and vote inthread.
• If a player receives the majority of the available votes during the Day, they are lynched.
• At deadline, a player with half-majority will be lynched.
• You may vote No Lynch.
• After the Day, the game goes to Night.
• The game thread is closed during the Night. The Mafia may speak to each other at Night. All Active Roles may submit actions via PM at Night.
• The Mafia can, as a faction, kill one player at Night.
• After the Night, the game goes to Day.
• All dead players (lynched or killed) can no longer participate in the game.
• Basic rules for maintaining the integrity of the game thread are in effect (i.e. players may not quote their Role PMs, nor may they discuss the game outside the game thread unless otherwise permitted, etc.)
• The game is comprised of Mafia and the Town.
• The game is won when only one faction remains in the game, or nothing can prevent the same.

Mass role-claiming is allowed. (Good luck with that!)

Game Days will last as many real-life days as there are players alive.
Game Nights will last 48 hours but will include at least one weekday.

Meh. You did muck things up a bit IMO. You wanted No Lynch and said we should all make lists instead of saying who we'll target.. but there isn't much of a list to make when the game just started and there is no info.

 

You are definitely right about one thing, you can't be faulted for other people's lack of activity. More people gotta post, take stances, help hash out a plan & get on the same page.

I don't like the situation Rafay/Robert has put us in.

Please Praytell how its my fault for everybodys lack of activity day 1. Your only trying to throw me into a bad light with NOTHING to go on.

 

Fine, since it probally what we should do, I visited Shamus last night. He's still alive. So I'm pretty sure I'm a healing doc. What EM did is anybodys guess.

 

Big Ego, and Lord hippo probally didn't use there night actions(unless scum), so we probably will get 0 info from them. 

 

as it stands, my top suspects at this point in time are Shamus, Lord Hippo, Big Ego. 

 

An EM kill leans towards a more experienced Mafia player doing the killing. Remember people, EM was replacing Emud, Mafia targeted an inactive. Why? Because the Mafia wants us to have no clues. This Leans towards a experienced mafia player. This also suggests that the mafia is more active. 

 

So looking at the list, Shamus, Lyner, (maybe isoc), Me, (Maybe Big Ego), I'd personally consider the most experienced out the group. This however, doesn't clear lesser experienced players, where it could be the more experienced player is leading the mafia and making the decisions while the new guy is learning.

The orange text I highlighted because it's a slight jump in logic. It could just be that you are not a kiiling doc. Also, there could be other reasons the Mafia targeted EM. Maybe they random-killed him. Maybe there's another reason. We don't know that.

So you're saying that Shampoo, Lyner, iSoc, and Ego are most likely the scum. Is this correct?

 

who is shampoo? and where did I say they be likely scum? Killing off an inactive who needed to be replaced is a move more experienced people like to do. I told you my scum current scum list. why would suddenly Lyner, and iSoc be on it if I didn't pacifically mention them on my scum list? I merely stated they had more experience. In all honesty, I think the likely scenario is an Experienced player choose the night kill last night. That being said, a less experienced scum could just be following them cause they haven't played many games. There are probably 2 scum with any 9 player game.

1 and 1/3. The Iron City & Plan 9. I am experienced at life & politics tho, and some of that carries over in this game.

You can, Rafay. Not sure it will have much affect either way tho.

I, for one, targetted Hippo, hoping I would protect him and not kill him. Apparently I'm not the Vigiliant (Quack?)Doctor, but that's pretty much all this tells me.. and even then, I dunno, could've been countered by someone.

In the meantime, doing nothing is a certain loss for the Town.. so to put some pressure on Lyner and to encourage activity..
