That logic is flawed. If Lyner is scum and he armed himself (resulting in the death of kilgor) then where is the actual scum kill? kilgor did not die because scum Lyner armed himself at night but he was the target of a specific scum kill.

 

As to why he was targeted, I agree that I guess the scum thought he is a probably cop as he was trying to lay low.

Well. How do we know when a bandwagon is started? When someone has half the votes needed to be lynched. Also there are allot of people not posting much again. Imran is probably leading in post count (if I hade to guess). Things should be more serious today. People will probably still post fluff though.

So did everyone visit the intended target? Except the scum of course, you guys don't need to answer that. 

An interesting thought just struck me. Why was kilgor targetted? Maybe they thought he was the cop right? But why would they think he was a cop?

 

Maybe....they didnt necessarily think he was a cop but they couldnt take the chance IF he was the cop. They knew who was visiting whom if everyone followed the Day 1 strategy of visiting their next person...for normal compulsive visitors thats not a problem as long as they didnt arm themselves at night...BUT the cop wil not just visit he will learn the alignment as well.

 

SO.. lets say Lyner is scum. He knows kilgor will be visiting him at night...what if killgor is the cop and not just a visitor. They couldnt take the chance of kilgor being scum so they took him out. Of course they had a choice on who to kill (as there are 2 scum) and they chose kilgor.

 

I am not saying this is the case and unfortunately Lyner is AWOL for the next few days but this is worth looking into.

If Lyner is scum and the scum thought Killgor was the cop, wouldn't they just use the armed ability to automatically kill Killgor. 

And then the other scum would target someone else resulting in two deaths from the scum.

This. Thats why not arming themselves is the better move against the opportunity of taking out 2 townies.

There are any number of reasons they could have. Thought he might be a PR, or that he just might cast suspicion on Lyner. I don't see scum intentionally casting suspicion on their own.

 

Of course, they could also be incompetent. Always possible.

An interesting theory. But there is two scum. So wouldn't the other scum worry of the same situation happening to the other scum player? Why protect lyner over other scum player?

Not necessarily incompetent since it could be a double bluff if Lyner was scum. 

It's a risky move though and I don't think the scum actually put that much thought into their decisions as it could easily backfire.

This is why I like to lynch Rafay

1. #44 #86 didn't like this because it's like he's avoiding actually thinking about how to win or he's being too dependent on others or something

2. #63 posting stuff which I don't know how to react. Never even bothered to reply regarding this one.

 

I also don't like how he's being too defensive. Although he's like this as town, I wouldn't want to risk this kind of behavior especially late game.

 

With more or less nothing happened that much on D1, Rafay is currently my top suspect.

My hunch tells me killgor was killed just because they thought he was cop or jailkeeper
