The Rules

• The game is comprised of Mafia and the Town.
• The game is won when only one faction remains in the game, or nothing can prevent the same.
• During the Day phase, each player may speak and vote inthread.
• If a player receives the majority of the available votes during the Day, they are lynched.
• At deadline, a player with half-majority will be lynched.
• You may vote No Lynch.
• After the Day, the game goes to Night.
• The game thread is closed during the Night. The Mafia may speak to each other at Night. All Active Roles may submit actions via PM at Night.
• The Mafia can, as a faction, kill one player at Night.
• After the Night, the game goes to Day.
• All dead players (lynched or killed) can no longer participate in the game.
• Basic rules for maintaining the integrity of the game thread are in effect (i.e. players may not quote their Role PMs, nor may they discuss the game outside the game thread unless otherwise permitted, etc.)
• Mass role-claiming is allowed. (Good luck with that!)

Game Days will last as many real-life days as there are players alive.
Game Nights will last 48 hours but will include at least one weekday.

I think if killgor followed the plan he would have visited Lyner unless Kev randomly assigned him to target some1 else but, Vote: Lyner

That logic is flawed. If Lyner is scum and he armed himself (resulting in the death of kilgor) then where is the actual scum kill? kilgor did not die because scum Lyner armed himself at night but he was the target of a specific scum kill.

As to why he was targeted, I agree that I guess the scum thought he is a probably cop as he was trying to lay low.

So what the plan for the day. This is why I dont like no lynches on Day 1. We are in the same spot as in Day 1 with 1 less townie.

Why is rafay your top suspect kazio?

This

Also, not really Imran, we got cop on our side so it's not that bad

Though of course we can't rely only on cop, so:

Vote: Rafay for blindly accusing me

I am out of town for until Wednesday so expect inactivity

Looks like the scum has started the bandwagon from the get go.

2 votes is hardly a bandwagon. You however, should explain why you are voting for Lyner even after I pointed out the flaw in logic.

I am also interested in hearing why Kazio is voting for Rafay.

Vote: iSocialism

Hasn't posted much of anything yesterday and zero posts for Day 2.

First day is all fluff... and this is only your second post, along with Montosh not posting much

Well. How do we know when a bandwagon is started? When someone has half the votes needed to be lynched. Also there are allot of people not posting much again. Imran is probably leading in post count (if I hade to guess). Things should be more serious today. People will probably still post fluff though.

I said that cuz Kaz voted for me w/o any logic.

I didn't remove my vote cuz it wasn't hurting him.

Unvote.

Time for lurker watch!

Day 2 Post Count:

So did everyone visit the intended target? Except the scum of course, you guys don't need to answer that.

An interesting thought just struck me. Why was kilgor targetted? Maybe they thought he was the cop right? But why would they think he was a cop?

Maybe....they didnt necessarily think he was a cop but they couldnt take the chance IF he was the cop. They knew who was visiting whom if everyone followed the Day 1 strategy of visiting their next person...for normal compulsive visitors thats not a problem as long as they didnt arm themselves at night...BUT the cop wil not just visit he will learn the alignment as well.

SO.. lets say Lyner is scum. He knows kilgor will be visiting him at night...what if killgor is the cop and not just a visitor. They couldnt take the chance of kilgor being scum so they took him out. Of course they had a choice on who to kill (as there are 2 scum) and they chose kilgor.

I am not saying this is the case and unfortunately Lyner is AWOL for the next few days but this is worth looking into.

If Lyner is scum and the scum thought Killgor was the cop, wouldn't they just use the armed ability to automatically kill Killgor.

And then the other scum would target someone else resulting in two deaths from the scum.

Though use of the ability automatically makes Lyner extremely suspicious if Killgor and someone else died.

This. Thats why not arming themselves is the better move against the opportunity of taking out 2 townies.

I'm liking where your heads at Imran. Add that to the fact that Lyner is always scum and he is prime suspect número uno.

Unvote: iSocialism

Vote: Lyner

We should also switch the order of who visits who tonight.

I wanted to lynch Lyner on Day 1 for always being scum, can we do it today then?

We don't want to get to into the scum reasoning, we could end up considering all possibilities. For the record, I did follow that order.

Deadline is 21:00 EDT, Sunday, August 9.

Couldn't they also have picked killgor by random to make Lyner look like a suspect?

There are any number of reasons they could have. Thought he might be a PR, or that he just might cast suspicion on Lyner. I don't see scum intentionally casting suspicion on their own.

Of course, they could also be incompetent. Always possible.

An interesting theory. But there is two scum. So wouldn't the other scum worry of the same situation happening to the other scum player? Why protect lyner over other scum player?

Not necessarily incompetent since it could be a double bluff if Lyner was scum.

It's a risky move though and I don't think the scum actually put that much thought into their decisions as it could easily backfire.

lol this is funny considering that you voted Lyner without any reason

This is why I like to lynch Rafay

1. #44 #86 didn't like this because it's like he's avoiding actually thinking about how to win or he's being too dependent on others or something

2. #63 posting stuff which I don't know how to react. Never even bothered to reply regarding this one.

I also don't like how he's being too defensive. Although he's like this as town, I wouldn't want to risk this kind of behavior especially late game.

With more or less nothing happened that much on D1, Rafay is currently my top suspect.

My hunch tells me killgor was killed just because they thought he was cop or jailkeeper

They were honest questions that I needed answers too because I had a hard time understanding the strategy before us.

However I followed the plan and we are not discussing anything about it.
