[KH-08] Maintaining Law, Order, and Shallow Relationships -- Mafia Win

Maintaining Law, Order and Shallow Relationships

Setup

Alive

  • Commander Shepard
  • Imran Ehsan
  • iSocialism
  • Kaziocore
  • Lyner
  • Robert2424

Dead

  • Killgor, Compulsive Visitor, killed Night 1
  • Rafay, Compulsive Visitor, lynched Day 2
  • Montosh, Compulsive Visitor, lynched Day 3
  • Electric Mango, Jailkeeper, killed Night 3

The Rules

  • The game is comprised of Mafia and the Town.
  • The game is won when only one faction remains in the game, or nothing can prevent the same.
  • During the Day phase, each player may speak and vote inthread.
  • If a player receives the majority of the available votes during the Day, they are lynched.
  • At deadline, a player with half-majority will be lynched.
  • You may vote No Lynch.
  • After the Day, the game goes to Night.
  • The game thread is closed during the Night. The Mafia may speak to each other at Night. All Active Roles may submit actions via PM at Night.
  • The Mafia can, as a faction, kill one player at Night.
  • After the Night, the game goes to Day.
  • All dead players (lynched or killed) can no longer participate in the game.
  • Basic rules for maintaining the integrity of the game thread are in effect (i.e. players may not quote their Role PMs, nor may they discuss the game outside the game thread unless otherwise permitted, etc.)
  • Mass role-claiming is allowed. (Good luck with that!)

Game Days will last as many real-life days as there are players alive.
Game Nights will last 48 hours but will include at least one weekday.

Deadline is Wednesday, August 19, at 17:00 EDT.

With 8 alive, it takes 5 to lynch, or 3 at deadline.

I am finding it strange that robert is voting for himself.

in any case i will affect a lynch if votes stay the same by close of deadline tomorrow.

Anyway I'm the cop, I didn't target anyone on night 1 because I thought my ability was to kill people but it's to investigate.

On night 2 I targeted Montosh because I found him scummy and I received no result from my visit, giving how no one was killed and I received no result then it is most probable Montosh is who the Jailer visited last night.

Oh and if the Jailer can protect me the next night that would be great.

hhmm...interesting...

Vote: Montosh

lets hear what he has to say about that. but since kazio is also on 2 votes i dont want him jumping on the kazio wagon to put him on 3 votes first -> hence my early vote.

This claim sounds shaky...

and pretty suspicious regarding the timing, since it's almost night time

I'd listen to what Montosh have to say first before deciding things

I tried to patience about it but it looked like no one was going to get lynched and I was set on Montosh being the only guy who would get lynched. Well not no one, it was anyone's call between Montosh and that other guy at 2 votes on getting lynched randomly.

I think we can ask for an extension anyway if you want to talk about it further, given how very little happened today it will probably be granted I think.

Working against the clock is more fun though.

Well. In doubt you follow the cop. And there has been no counter claim. Montosh only needs 2 votes to be lynched. Since my activity has not been a shinning example. I'll wait for montosh to respond before I place my vote upon him.

One little task, and I can't even do that right!

This should be correct now:

A veteran player thought his cop ability was to kill. Mistakes happen, but this sounds more like you trying to limit the information you're giving out on a fake claim so as not to appear suspicious. Any counter-claims out there?

If what you say is true, it could also simply be that scum targeted me to NK. Since the person I went against yesterday was lynched, I assume they thought that i'm a PR. Or else it was random. Anyone know of anything that might make them target me?

I am a compulsive visitor. Last night I visited Robert. Assuming CS is telling the truth and since i know I'm not scum, I must have been jailed.

What are the chances of the Jailer, the Cop and the scum all targeting you in one night?

Me misreading the cop thing was mostly because I wasn't paying my full attention on day 1, I don't consider myself a veteran either.

Low, so what? Maybe the scum didn't target anyone.

That's what I said initially at the start of the day but people didn't agree and I concur as it would have being difficult to pull off as it relies too heavy on what the Jailer did for it to be successful for the scum.

:/ well. I don't see how a cop gets the ability to kill. I've never seen that before or heard of it. I've been a cop. Your investigation. Nothing to do with killing. Unless sanity is a thing and I haven't heard anything about that.

It is now Day 4.

With 6 alive, it takes 4 to lynch or 2 at deadline.

Deadline is 17:00 EDT on Thursday, August 27.

I guess I was locked up, I was hoping the Jailer would not lock me up.

On the previous night I assume it was either me or Montosh the Jailer locked up, but it would have meant the scum tried to kill me.

Either way the scum knew I was wrong in my assessment so I targeted you funny enough because I figured the scum would have known Montosh was actually a town and I was wrong.

Judging by how EM was calling for someone to counter claim my role it is most likely he jailed me the other night and thought I was scum.

huh...funny explanation CS. It must be the worst luck of the century that you had 3 night to investigate and you found out 0 information. strangely you were also asking the jailer to protect you..and wow..he turned up dead.

cool beans. so your reveal of D2 resulted in a townie being lynched. and your call for the jailer to save you resulted in the PR to be killed. funny funny.

here is what i think happened. you are not a cop...you are the scum. you wanted the jailer to protect you so that you could activate your ability and kill him at night. maybe you were hoping for the real cop to try to investigate you as well? resulting in 2 kills?

Vote: Commader Shepard

There is only one cop, you deciding to lynch a cop seems desperate with no one claiming the role.

The only one who could claim the role is a scum but that would out them and the chances are they would lose, since its pretty evident you're scum now.

Things were extremely messy on Night 2 due to the Jailer and the Scum probably targeting me but I don't think the town is that desperate to follow you.

I didn't even say you were scum and I didn't vote you but your reaction says I was probably right, I didn't get any result on you so I really had no basis other than I figured the cum voted with me in the confusion as to what happened on Night 2. The town would be pretty crazy now not to lynch someone trying to lynch the only claimed cop.

I know what you're thinking, you're trying to rush a lynch so you will win on Day 4 with faulty logic hoping the town will agree. I get lynched, someone dies tonight and then it's 2 scum vs 2 town and game over.

Not today pal not today, I got you by the balls.

Vote: Imran Ehsan

I know it's too late for you guys to talk to each other, personally I wouldn't buy it now since the "cop" magically showing up today when the town is about to lose since after tonight it's game over for us if we don't lynch a scum.

You questioning me being a cop foreshadows your scum buddy magically showing up claiming to be a cop and perhaps you could pull it off but it's a bit convenient that the cop would showing to lynch me on the last day the town has to survive.

Maybe you didn't have an idea to save your skin, maybe you did either way if I was a normal townie and not the cop I wouldn't buy some random person claiming to be the cop simply because he would of being an even worse cop that me if that was possible.

This is pretty much the worse performance ever but maybe I can still win for the town.

As for you remaining townies, I'm pretty sure we can win as long as you think logically about the situation.

This is so bad

And it's not like Imran to rush vote like that. It's pretty obvious that CS, however bad his performance, is still most likely the cop due not having any other cop claim

Unless it is a foreshadow for another guy to claim as a cop too

Vote: Imran Ehsan

lol..its funny..do you guys really believe someone with the Role Name as COP somehow did not understand what his role was and hence took no action on Night 1?! And then on N2 he targetted the guy who got jailed and got himself jailed on N3?! How many coincidences can you justify?
