Like I have said before... Donald Trump may not be the President everyone wants, but he is probably the President everyone needs. He's a very focused individual. Right now he's running for the Republican nomination, and that is his main focus. He has to beat all those guys first, and Trump will be the last man standing because he doesn't care who they are, or how the Republican party feels about it. He will burn them all down eventually, because he has the support of a very angry electorate that wants someone that will actually get things done.

 

When he is finished with the Republicans... the Democrats are dog food. That's the easy part.

 

He's not my first choice, but if he wins the nomination like I believe he will... he will have my full support.

They all said similar things about Ronald Reagan. Have you watched any of "The Apprentice"? It began as a competition to groom young business executives in the brutal world of big business, and transformed over the years to celebrities competing to raise tens of millions of dollars for charitable causes. It would take someone with extremely short vision to reduce that to a "reality TV personality", but I know who I'm talking to here.

 

Trump was a successful billionaire before he was a TV star, and I love that he doesn't take crap from anyone. My choice for President is you always vote for the biggest bad-ass. Things always go better for the USA when we get it.

2) I never saw a complete episode, but the UK version (Dragons Den I believe) I have seen snippets off. Basically you see capitalism at its most basic form. Capitalism =/= society.

4) You want a president who is "IN CHARGE". Thing is, you need a leader of a nation to be able to speak for that nation (or for as much as possible), you don't need an totalitarian maverick who might have done some "good things" while basically doing the good to himself.

 

 

 

I get it, part of the US is annoyed by present and past political culture. But to "upset" that hegemony by putting a charismatic one-line spewing narcisits in charge you are basically saying you want to be ruled over. Move to Russia, you will enjoy it there...

He has no clue how things work, and more importantly, no desire to learn or listen. Calling for Bill Gates to shut down parts of the internet was the latest example of being an utter muppet. He also has no interest in actual policy or getting thing done. His spokesperson was on the radio last Tuesday talking about his ban all Muslims policy, and couldn't answer the question "so could a UK citizen of islamic faith visit the US under this policy?" The interviewer was actually struggling to hold the interview because the spokesperson was just spouting whatever entered their head. 

 

You see this across all his proposals. Vast unfunded tax cuts. Trade wars with neighboring countries. Pissing on the US Bill of rights whilst he is about it. 

 

Forget the racism, forget the abuse of the disabled, forget calling for his supporters to attack protesters for a moment. My country exports enough to America that the idea of the American economy tanking because of this fucking muppet genuinely worries me. So please, for all our sakes, vote for someone else.

I really enjoy talking American politics with other Americans. We are making the choice, so there is much to discuss... but here, like I have said before... I get ganged up on by European Socialists. We will never agree. I despise everything you wish to change my country into, what you wish to change the world into, and what you want it to be. We'll be okay, and you can keep hating us for it, but we'll make our own choices, thank you very much for your concern.

Some part of the population will be okay, the part that is "favoured", sadly that isn't the best idea to run a nation or a society.
 
And we, the world, have a vested interest in what the US decides to do, likewise about Russia, China, EU in general and other major global influencential organisations.

aaaah, that way. Think they did a likewise show here aswell. It was aired on the commercial broadcast channel so I naturally was sceptical already, viewing snippits only clearified that it was less about "a sollicitation" and more about another reality TV show. Half the "tests" were orientated to screw eachother over then to actually do something worthwhile.

Dragon's Den is more focused on real business than the apprentice because it is essentially a televised investment pitch. 

 

The apprentice is far more about personality, and therefore is more about mocking stupid people who think they are clever (at least the UK version, never seen the American one).

I'm not a socialist. And really when it comes to politics I care far less about ideology and far more about good governance, both in terms of respect for civil rights and liberty, and in terms of whether their policies are actually effective. 

 

Trump doesn't give the slightest shit about civil rights, liberty, good government or effective government.

Trump would be a horrible president. Probably worse than Bush. The only thing I've seen him spew is hate and, well, not much else. He proposes all these things, yet, he doesn't give you a straightforward answer on how it's going to be funded (other than on the backs of the ever shrinking middle class and the ever increasing poor). Hell, the UK petition (which I have no idea if that is actually a thing), supported by what appears to be 425k people, wants him banned from going there!

 

Let's not also forget the massive amount of people he's already pissed off. Gotta love the fact that his Muslim 'business partners' are dropping him.

 

I mean, I don't keep up on a lot of things, but he seems to be a grade-A fail.

Nope I am neither left or right, straight down in the middle. He's just a pure racist shit that should never exist, his father was one too. Why waste billions of dollars on a campaign that he is not gonna win? If he does win it would be the most lamest presidential election since the early 19th century that ever happened, I would just move to another country if this jerk got back on. 

Also it puts a bad reputation for the GOP as well if Trump decides to win the Party nominee which I don't think will ever happen, it would just be a dark era for the Republicans and it would put the Republicans in a difficult decision. Most of the Republicans don't even like him anyway the only people are his supporters. 

 

Thats my several sentences for it.  I could go rant about more.

Dude, you have lost my respect. Ignoring al the obvious racist commentaries and his ignorance on politics, Donald Trump is a business man. A business man who is a billionaire, that is true, but he is still a business man. A president needs to be a politician. Someona who can be in charge and can run a country like a country. Someone who thinks what is the best for the people, and how  and what the government can do to help them. A business man only knows how to make a profit. A BM works for his own benefit, not for the others. Donald Trump is not a person who can work for the benefit of others. He just wants to turn USA into his playground. I'm not a fan of Hillary Clinton and I don't think that she should be president, but if that is what it takes to avoid Donald Trump becoming the Head of State, then go ahead Hillary, win the elections.

I'm sure quite a few of us can rant a lot more about him, but we don't. I've posted numerous things about how pathetic Trump is. I mean, if someone wants to talk about someone who speaks their mind, maybe they should look at one Mr. Bernie Sanders. He also speaks his mind.

While we are discussing this, I'm going to step up and give you an example. Here in Panama, our last president was a man by the name of Ricardo Martinelli. He was a rich man before becoming president, due to a succesful business carreer, but he is now a millionare after spending five years in power. Why? Because he stole money. Millions of dollars in fact. He and his whole government started public works like highways and bridges and they said that the costs of those projects would be exponentiall higher than what they really were. A 21 km highway was begun with the price of 27 million dollars per kilometer. Can you imagine that? That extra money was stolen by him and his lackeys. And he is a business man. Only yesterday he was supposed to attend to the Supreme Court of Justice for a preliminary trial because they are investigating him for tapping phones. He is now in Miami and doesn't plan to return.

 

You may ask what his relaitionship to DT is. Well, both are businessmen known for their utter lack of knowledge about politics, both are liked by the people, and both are just the worst possible candidates that could ever occur. Martinelli won and I fear that Trump might win, because the ignorants are many and they choose a president. 

 

I just hope that you come to reason and decide not to choose such a despicable man as president, because the effects it will have on the international community will be enormous.

 

PS. I could talk for hours about Martinelli, or about Donald Trump.
