[KH-11] The Force Awakens -- Mafia Win

Featured Replies

Interesting perspective, ccabal. I was thinking that iSoc was more townie than scum, but your point about his role is an interesting one. Having a Neapolitan would be rather pointless if everyone does indeed have a power role. Although I guess that Samus was technically a vanilla townie until he replaced FF? Would the Neapolitan exist if there was only one vanilla role?

What other thoughts do you have after reading through the thread?

Allright guys, did my best to catch up, here are my thoughts:

I strongly believe iSocialism is mafia, though I have little else to add besides what Imran already mentioned (he's our most pro-town player btw acting player at this point, not counting confirmed townies like Lyner), but reading the whole thread for beginning to end, it stands out even more. I guess when you arrive this late into the game, there's little to say that hasn't already been said in one way or form.

  • First of all, iSoc's roleclaim seems bogus. It just seems pretty off for this game, seeing as there are probably no vanilla townie roles whatsoever. Now unless Kevin wants to intentionally throw us off (hasn't really happened way back when I played actively), having ANOTER investigative role on top of Cop+Backup seems pretty pointless.

  • If you watch his input/reactions, you will notice that he talks a lot, but doesn't really contribute with anything new or fresh. Instead he tries his best to give "soft" support (not outright bandwagon, he's too good for that) to players who at the time appear to be most town in the eyes of the public. When you do a complete reading, it really just seems like he's trying to appear townie, knowing full well he can safely support myslynches as he's just going with the flow.

  • To me the biggest red flag is the Rusken vote to be honest, and a huge blunder for anyone town who was voting for him. That's for the fact that it's the absolute WORST scum tactic is to try and get a CONFIRMED townie lynched, if anything you guys really should have seen as a colossal mistake/non-reading on his part, that goes double for experienced players, yet you fell into the trap. I believe there are some scum in that voting bloc (EM probably one of them btw), as they could safely blend in with all the other bandwagoners.

  • But of course Mafia would not put all their eggs in one basket, they need someone on the outside, with a supportive, yet still secured position for when the killing turns out to be a mislynch. Just read this post, and tell me it doesn't sound like insurance: http://ironcentral.org/community/topic/55574-kh-11-the-force-awakens-mafia-day-3/?p=826802

I strongly urge everyone to consider my arguments and vote for iSoc

Vote: iSocialism

First, I'm also too smart to come to the table with a bogus role claim.

second, bandwagon, so if I was town I would lynch town members??? FF wasn't scum just inactive, Rusken made a poorly decision, but I felt like he was town and didn't want to lynch him. I don't see your point there.

Thirdly, wtf? what is that quote about, and how does it make me look scum.

Thanks for the time in reading back on all the pages, but I'm sorry it went in vain.

Okay, so my scum list is now as follows:

Rafey - lurk, one liners etc.

EM - inactive, but promised to post more..waiting on that

Yehom: No Lynch.

iSoc: beginning to suspect now on the role claim..

Neutral: Finster - Atleast your bothering to vote.

How much time is left for the day to be over? ( in hours pls)

Interesting analysis ccabal. I am also having trouble believing iSocialisms claim but cant quite yet decide if I believe him 100% to be scum. Maybe in the range of 60-40 currently.

However, I think we have identified one of the scum at least.

Mr. Scum Rafay has been online today also. Still not a peep out of him. If you are caught at least go down fighting dude. :)

The other information that has come out about Rafay's role gives me even more reason to suspect him than I already did. It just feels like something is going on there. It seems that he has happily skated by quietly without trying to draw any attention to himself. Even after being called out for his habits, he has declined to react so as not to draw more attention to himself when the discussion has changed directions. Unless something else comes to light in the next few hours before the deadline, I am voting for Rafay.

Vote Rafay.

Vote Rafay.

Thanks for confirming Rafay is scum. :P Rafay is lost, so now you try to clear your own name by voting on him...

Dammit, so  much to do, so little time. This replacement should have happened a few days earlier.

If I'm killed, go after iSocialism and Electric Mango. Though I'm also cautiously optimistic that Rafay is a good pick too.

MOD: Can the mafia talk during the day?

Yes

Did we discuss about this yet?

This is a lot of advantage for mafia, especially during the lynching point(like this) since they can manipulate votes easily

Vote: Rafay

Also that's a pretty powerful role Imran

I guess since there has been a lot of roles being thrown around we should plan our actions tonight? especially tracking and protective ones

How can we plan this without tipping people off?

That's an interesting point. With that and everything above, I'm going to have to vote for Rafey. Sorry Rafey, but I've been calling you out for days, since my first post, and at the same time, I really waited not to jump on the wagon since Imrans quite damning post. I waited and waited hoping for your response. But, now that the deadline is near, I'm going to have to cast my ballot.

I'm absolutely against no Lynch and people opting for that are scummie to me. There is now no time to wait.

Vote: Rafey

If I am killed at night, then vote for the following guys in order of priority:

- iSoc

- Finster

- EM

- tW.

My advise on protection/ watch out for this day:

- Lyner - confirmed townie, guaranteed that role ability will not be wasted keeping an eye on Lyner.

- Perez? - Counting on Robert's hunch here.

Well I'd love it if R2V can watch me tonight since I'm pretty sure I'm number 1 in scum's kill list :P

Protective ones should target more useful roles like Imran/TW

I am not just jumping on the bandwagon here. I've been suspicious of Rafay since very early on. Go back and read the posts that I made about him on days 1 and 2. All of the new information is just further damning. I am sticking with the hunch that I've had for awhile. If I hadn't voted for him, you would call me out for it. And now you call me out for voting anyway. You can't have it both ways, Mandarijn. You have some personal vendetta against me. I get it. Unfortunately, your narrow focus is precisely what is causing us to lose this game.

Can't protect you bro, that's not my role (as R2V explained earlier).

With all honesty, I will kick this new day by voting for TW.  He is definitely a scum, he knew Mand was slowly forming a wagon against him so he decided with his scummy friends to take him out.

EM is also scum, he said he was going make extensive anylisis to help own but nothing happened.

Imram, is a scum, I have a good hunch.

VOTE THE WARRIOR

Wtf just happened? Can mafia kill two people in one night?

And it seems they can also protect.   Imran Ehsan was protected twice and watched once (in addition to you).  So yeah, Im a watcher.  There is no point, imo, hiding my role.

Which means some townie defended him and a scum.  Town dont pretect Imram, he is definately scum!!!

Damnit.

Mandarijn has been after me since day 1 with no good defensible reason. When questioned he has refused to provide actual reasons and has instead resorted to only saying things like "TW is scum" and "only scum writes walls of text". With Mandarijn going after me so adamantly there is no doubt why he lasted as long as he did. The scum probably believed that he'd be able to have me lynched and do their job for them. He was so narrowly focused that the scum probably knew that they wouldn't need to worry about him hunting them down at all.

Now that we are four days in and Mandarijn has not managed to get me removed, this seems like it turned into a very convenient play for the mafia to make. They managed to get rid of one townie (Mandarijn) while framing a second (Me). Who would be most likely to be suspected with Mandarijn being killed in the night? How about the guy that he's been trying to kill since day 1.

Instead of jumping to another bad conclusion on a day where we are down two more town members without much room for mistake, why don't we see what information we can garner from last night first. What did our watcher see? Can anyone provide any detail from their night action? And how is it that two people died? Is there a way that the scum faction gets a second kill?
