Character names have been assigned such that townies have good-guy names from the Star Wars universe and scum have bad-guy names. Roles do not correlate with the Star Wars names (Yoda would not necessarily be the most powerful).

• During the Day phase, each player may speak and vote inthread.
• If a player receives the majority of the available votes during the Day, they are lynched.
• At deadline, a player with half-majority will be lynched.
• You may vote No Lynch.
• After the Day, the game goes to Night.
• The game thread is closed during the Night. The Mafia may speak to each other at Night.
• All Active Roles may submit actions via PM at Night.
• The Mafia can, as a faction, kill one player at Night.
• After the Night, the game goes to Day.
• All dead players (lynched or killed) can no longer participate in the game.
• Basic rules for maintaining the integrity of the game thread are in effect (i.e. players may not quote their Role PMs, nor may they discuss the game outside the game thread unless otherwise permitted, etc.)
• The game is won when only one faction remains in the game, or nothing can prevent the same.
• Mass role-claiming is not allowed, but you may reveal your role if you have something interesting to share.

Game Days will last as many real-life days as there are players alive.
Game Nights will last 48 hours but will include at least one weekday.

Finster Baby: Potential Scum. Came as a replacement for CS on D1 and was on the FF lynch wagon on D1. Was on the TW wagon on D2 before jumping on the Rusken wagon. Always posts a vote and says his mind is open to change, and he has indeed shifted his votes around to apparently where the votes are flowing. Scum like behavior but has claimed to be an even Follower. Claims to have targeted TW on N2 and seen him not go anywhere. if TW is scum, chances are Finster is also scum and the Follower claim comes from him trying to lower suspicion on TW.

Imran: If you read day 2's stuff, I clearly targeted TW as scum. There was stuff he was saying then (and hasn't backed off from honestly) that had me fairly certain he was scum. When Rusken was suggested and the evidence presented, I considered it and felt was more compelling than my hunches about TW so I went with it. We were all wrong, clearly, and that sucks. Then, in order for me to determine TW's loyalties, I followed him in Night 2, only observing he did nothing that night. That initially caused me to downgrade him (in my own mind) as scum, tho that is quickly re-establishing itself based on what I'm reading (including your assessment of him.)

 

But to put me in cahoots with him to lower his suspicion is just pointless. I've clearly identified myself with my character name and role, likely putting a great big target on my back.

 

Plus, if I were scum, would I have been advocating a No Lynch today unless evidence presented itself? (Which it is, meaning my vote will likely change.) Not likely.

 

I also think EM, Perez and Rafay are likely scum as well. I have no real evidence I can point to other than the analysis of those who are better at this than I am doing said analysis.

 

Lynch me if you must - but you'll find out quickly enough if you do that you'll be down yet another townie and the scum will be that much closer to a win.

Well. Yehom has came up with something I could believe. I don't fully trust him but it dose make sense.

I coming to the conclusion that there is one player who seems pro-town, but is playing the game extremely well. Also if there are two scums two. I would believe both team sizes would be equal. in other words we would have an even amount of scum players ex. 2,4, or 6. If there are two scum team, most likely there would be odd and even roles. Hence the two previous night happenings. If this scenario is true. This would give a well playing player as bigger edge. As he is able/predict/assume to see other players as scum. Which could give an illusion of a scum player seeming pro-town.

 

After day and night 3 is over. Town will be at a biggest disadvantage. Role claims will come flying out.

There is no pressure on me to role-claim, but there are some doubts among other players about me. I see my role-claim as no harm to the town, and I see it as hopefully benefitting the town in order to have people look else where.

 

I'm Lor San Tekka, a Neapolitan. I can investigate one player a night to see if they are vanilla town are not. As I now believe all players to have roles. I believe KevinH is punking me. If though we have one or two vanilla town. I don't think I would find them in time. It's up to the mafia to decide if they rather target me over other roles, or take the chances with me being alive and seeing if I do find a vanilla town.

I don't know if that could help town or hurt town or help mafia, but either I hope it helps Town because we are at a point where 3 townies are dead. So are you just a mediator in this conflict? I know the character from Star Wars, she was the same thing, she saw both good and evil. 

Will unfortunately, I do think it doesn't help the town that much, besides letting them focus on other players, if they believe my RC. However scum already know who's town and whose not on their team. Though I leaning towards two scum parties. Meaning I have only clarified that I'm not on the other mafia team. If though there are two mafia teams. Town will benefit, because they would want to hit the other scum team first, before vise versa. Also it will lower the amount of town players needed for a win.

Ok, I think we as a town have made good progress over the last two days. The strategy to pressurize lurkers instead of in-actives is working and I am glad some of the townies have gone ahead and have given the necessary support. 

 

With the given information, I would have to go ahead and UnVote. 

 

I would be inclined now to vote EM, but at the moment, I feel he is more inactive than lurking and as I stated in my first post, I have my reservations for lynching inactives because simple math probability means chances of killing townie is higher and so it is not pro-town. I think it's also a target of convenience for mafia and they would'nt mind a townie getting hit like FF was. I'd rather prefer no-lynch over lynching an inactive. But at the same time, there is going to be a limit to my patience on this and whenever EM reads this, he should be aware we're expecting his active presence. EM should also know maybe if not this night, then then the next night, he'll certainly get my lynch vote unless we discover some more pressing and damning information. 

 

Also, given that Samus and FF are dead, given their cop roles, I believe (correct me if I am wrong) than iSoc's abilities are the most useful to us of the known abilities so far, going from top of my head along with the bodyguard. But Bodyguard imo is more protective than investigative, it's more defensive in nature, with iSoc's investigative abilitiy, it will actually help us obtain the information that is critical. So, regardless of a lynch or no lynch, IMO, iSoc probably is now the top priority target for scum and should be protected (hint  hint)

 

Hope youre not ascetic or anything, throwing this out now so we dont goof up like for Samus. 

 

Also, now consider me bit confused on who is what. I will have to go through last few pages again, recollect my thoughts. 

 

I would also like to start discussion on following points:

 

- Can we in anyway start and try to deduce what abilities the mafia may have?

- Can we in anyway know everyone isnt bluffing about role-claims? Should we take everything for granted?

I would encourage you to read what a Neapolitans abilities are. It's only if they are vanilla townie or not. So Rusken was NOT a vanilla town player, though a town member.

Oh I see, sorry, for a moment, I thought it tells if a play is vanilla or non vanilla townie or scum. 

 

My bad, guys dont protect iSoc jsut yet, we need to find out who to protect or atleast deter mafia scum from the most valuable knowns currently. What do you guys think?

I will confirm iSocialism's claim that I am not vanilla, i.e. I have a power role. I am not willing to divulge what it is at the moment because I dont have much useful info to give and I believe reveal of my role now will only help the scum. But if others think I should reveal it, I will.

 

By the way, I had already indicated earlier that I was role blocked, so iSocialism would have known I am not vanilla so no new info there from him. So his role isnt confirmed to me as yet. But its plausible.

 

Also @shah you are overestimating his role. if most townies have power roles he will get positive results. I guess the only way it may benefit the town is if a scum who has no role had claimed to have a power role.

I actually don't think that Isoc's role would even help in pinpointing mafia, because they would also be marked as 'non vanilla town'. I could be wrong. Sounds like Kevin trolling us, or Isoc

Yehom is right, if I target someone my results will be either; not vanilla town, or is vanilla town. I also don't want to be protected. If yehom didn't protect anyone the first night. Then the mafia either didn't use a NA or we have a doc, role-blocker etc. I think the doc should protect yehom, so mafia won't go after him. Then Yehom should protect an even, or an odd. Or just protect who ever, and leave it up to a guessing game.

I'm pretty much a vanilla town, because my role is useless IMO. However, with my beliefs of roles I have 6 on my scum list, and I thinking that there are two scum teams, which are being evenly numbered. So either other 6 or 4 members total. Only one/two people on my scum list haven't role claim, but I heavily leaning towards them being town.

By being potential scum in my list could mean I just don't fully see you as a townie. Even if you're pro-town, with there being two scum factors. You could still be mafia hunting for the other team.

Although you have pegged me down as town, I cant help but think that role will actually make sense in the hand of a scum. The scum wants to find out who the townies are that have power roles so that they dont waste their kills on vanilla townies. So a scum with a neopolitan role will actually be useful (for the scum) as opposed to a townie with neopolitan role.

Although I still think we should lynch TW , but he's really busy in RL at the moment so I doubt he'll have much time for Mafia right now.

Kevin, maybe you should check if he wants to be replaced? (Then we can lynch the new guy immediately )
