Hi,

 

Do you know any attorney with expertise in trade mark filling? We intend to export some products, I was wondering if anyone knew anyone, like in you have a connection. There are dozens online doing it, but I'd prefer someone with connection (and who can work with non-US based multinational fast moving consumer good organisation) and also, not charging my leg and an arm

Just a piece of advice: You'll need to specify to where exactly in the US do you want to export to. Different states have different rules and standards, so it's probably best to pick one state at first and expand your operations from there.

Are you looking for an attorney or a company specializing in export/import? The reason I ask is because sometimes it is easier and cheaper to go through an import company if you plan to move materials heavily regulated or peculiar.

They aren't peculiar or heavily regulated, flat bread frozen doughs, imagine a frozen tortilla.

Well I will admit I know very little about food imports in the US. But I imagine their would have to be some form of inspection process upon arrival in the country.

Hi guys, figured it all out,

 

Step 1. Make sure your production unit is US FDA approved, so they inspect.

Step 2. Make sure the trademarks are registered

Step 3. Make sure the products labeling are as per US regulations.

 

Step 1. We already have that, just expired Dec 31, so we are gonna renew it.

Step 2. Applied, under process

Step 3. Sent the labels to our US team to let us know what's up.
