Going to watch this tomorrow and my professional and extremely important review of this movie will be discussed here after that I will look forward to it lol Report
March 25, 201610 yr comment_838846 Okay, so apparently I'm gonna go watch it with some friends as well. Report
March 25, 201610 yr comment_838862 Well I'm going to be pulled by some friends to go watch it anyway. But seeing the reviews, I gotta say my expectations are low. Tho, yea, critics rating can be off sometimes. Report
March 25, 201610 yr comment_838868 Metacritic in my opinion is quite accurate for movie ratings and it does not give much hope for a good show this time. Report
March 25, 201610 yr Author comment_838871 It was alright. Could of been better. But I'm happy. Report
March 25, 201610 yr comment_838971 I'll watch it but I think Affleck is a bad choice as Batman for that reason I'm not holding out to much hope Report

March 26, 201610 yr comment_839382 I read somewhere that this batman had to be more muscuar and stronger, more like the comic!batman, to fight on par with Superman. Bale's batman was so weak he was beaten up by an overbuff thug. Report
March 26, 201610 yr comment_839524 I watched today, I literally dozed off in the first 30 minutes, but the movie had my full attention by the end and overall, I'd say I liked it. I think the start and mid are big slow, bit disconnected, flow is not smooth, things dramatically take a good turn towards the end. The script made you cringe at some points. But yea, it was good entertainment. I'd give it 6.5/10, 10/10 being the likes of momento, inception, new Star trek series. Report

I loved the first scene of the first star trek movie, that was probably one of the best intros of any movie that I've seen. However, the plot for Into Darkness was pretty shit. Having Khan's blood bring people back from life and having a backpack teleportation device is crazy overpowered. Report

I have been a Trekie since the original series, when I was a kid in the 60's, and I watched them all... The Next Generation, DS9, Voyager, Enterprise... and the new reboot has contained too many eye rolls for me to count. The new crew is entertaining to watch and compare, but the way Abrams twisted the best of the old story lines into his own vision, kinda pissed me off. "The Wrath of Kahn" was great as it was, and stealing parts of it to cash it in for a new money train... well it feels like cheating. Report

March 28, 201610 yr comment_840483 I actually meant Lord of the Rings, Im not sure how Star Trek came out Wow... confusing Lord of the Rings with Star Trek... how does that happen? That's like listening to Frank Sinatra and saying "Yeah, I have all The Beatle albums!" I gotta drink with you sometime Shah... that would be an adventure. Report
March 28, 201610 yr Author comment_840494 Oh, I liked the Lord of the RIngs better also. But, honestly, they needed to come out with a batman stand alone first. They already had an established superman, this was our introduction of this batman. And superman is apart of it. Report
March 28, 201610 yr comment_840541 Watched it on Sunday. Nice film. I'd give it 7.5/10 cuz of the acting and casting Gal as WW. The movie did an amazing job of setting up the JLA franchise. And the movie earned 424 mil globally so that proves that reviews don't count for jack any more. WB spent 250 mil on prod and 150 on marketing. Report
March 28, 201610 yr comment_840547 Watched it yesterday. It was amazing They did a good job of setting up the clash between the two. The first few minutes of the movie were quite emotional, really setting up the darkness of the story. As Robert said, it would've been better if we had a Batman movie first, but they still did a reasonably good job of explaining his backstory. I had read about the background of this version of batman, so understanding it wasn't much of a problem for me. Basically, this Batman lost Robin in an explosion orchestrated by Joker. Joker left Robin's corpse for him to find, and Batman was so devastated that he refused to have any sidekicks in the future. He kept Robin's suit in the batcave as a reminder of what happened. http://images-cdn.moviepilot.com/images/c_fill,h_800,w_800/t_mp_quality/qetwcumzzrtsotb3mdoi/see-what-robin-s-costume-in-the-batman-v-superman-dawn-of-justice-trailer-looks-like-co-504154.jpg[ The characters were good as well. The movie makers did a good job of delving deep into their psych and not just brushing off/smoothing their feelings and reactions as Marvel does. I all loved all the meta human cameos. Still, the script could've been better. The dialogues really were cringe-worthy sometimes.Overall, I'd give the movie 4/5 Report
March 28, 201610 yr comment_840555 i honestly don't understand why snyder killed off jimmy olsen like that, it serves no great purpose since it was a mix-match of various storylines anyway i found it messy Report
March 28, 201610 yr comment_840858 Did anybody else notice that when Flash came up in Bruce's dream, they were setting up a potential "Injustice: Gods Among Men" story line? Report
March 29, 201610 yr comment_840896 I saw the movie and I was struck by how similar it was to Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns. I thought it would have been a bit more different, but it was awesome. The symbolism of the movie, the use of allegory in the battle between Batman and Superman, it was extremely well done. Also, giving us clues about Darkseid in both the nightmare sequence with the Parademons and a probably controlled Superman and in the end when Lex says that the bell has been rung and "He" is coming. It was amazingly well done. Oh and the battle. I loved it. I spent the whole week before the movie trying to convince everyone I knew that Batman would win. I just wish that Batman had either told Supes "Consider this an act of mercy" or this: https://qph.is.quoracdn.net/main-qimg-7af7e2858550b324113ec914a14123a8?convert_to_webp=true It would have been awesome. Batman is the ultimate badass. And I think that the warning Flash gave to Batman wasn't about this movie, I think it was about Darkseid and Lois being the only one capable of snapping him out of Darkseid's control. Report
