Now, that title might have fooled you. However, this phrase was/is rather personal to me. It means Japanese porn about anime or Japanes cartoons. (For those that are not privy to that kind of internet lingo.) I've decided to share it, and another story with IRON. I know, Dandy just needs to quit it with the stories. I like you guys however, so you get another one. Deal with it.
When I was in Afghanistan a few yeas back, and we happened to get a rather red province. My unit, an Airborne Field Artillery Regiment, was getting hit bad. We half fire the big guns, half run regular patrols as infantry. I was a combat medic, a 68W for those that understand that. We lost at least a handful of guys every day, and day in and out the Indirect Fire Alert would sound so I had to do my job more than half the time in the bunkers we had on the FOB while we hear the thud of explosive rocks and mortars going off. Always fun when one doesn't go off, and it's a grim bet that it goes off before EOD gets there.
Moral sucked, we were out of clean water, the showers were always cold, MRE's were all that got delivered anymore, and day after day the boxes of chocolate we had on hand were meant to only go out to the villages we patrolled in. That's right, sweet chocolate, and only the Afghani's could have it or we faced punishment. I'll complain about that another time.
One day, I was telling some of my platoon mates a story about how I had to go wrist deep into a Foreign National to stop some internal hemorrhaging. I get to the part where I say "So, there I am, wrist deep in this guy." And my buddy Curran pipes up with "I've seen enough Japanese hentai to know where this is going."
Let me tell you, that had to be the hardest laugh I have ever experienced. It was a massive weight off us, things didn't look so dark right then and there. So, we spread it. Whenever we could, we would say that phrase, and most of the time it got a chuckle, or a smile out of others. It was repeated so much on that little FOB that it was a greeting at one point.
I pass this phrase and story on in the hopes that maybe if you are having a bad day, or someone else is having a bad day. Talk about whatever is wrong, no matter whatever it is and pin the phrase on "I've seen enough Japanese Hentai to know where this is going." and it just makes it seem not as bad. Because now, if you think about it for a second, somehow your problem just got turned into some silly, nonsensical sex joke.

"Oh hell, I forgot to pick up milk." ... "I've seen enough Japanese hentai to know where this is going."
If you say this and you think it's the stupidest things you've ever heard and this is the worst advice you've ever been given, that's alright. Took your mind off it for a bit didn't it? Hope this helps whoever needs it.
