Anyway if there was a cop I would check one of these people tonight: Samus, Sister Midnight, Finster Baby.

 

 

This is abit annoying, i've been trying to stay inactive to avoid scum noticing me, now you bring up my name? Okay cool. Scum will probably assume Doc will protect me and because of that they won't kill me, they will kill someone else. And because of this Doc won't protect me. But scum also know this, so they will kill me. But Doc also knows this so Doc will protect.. But But But..

 

Also guys, i'm still of the mind D1 lynching is bad. If Scum prevail that will mean 2 townies gone tonight. And that's assuming we don't have a SK. That could potentially mean 3 gone. Which potentially leaves 15 players, where 4-6~ (assuming SK + 4/5 scum) are anti-town. Worst case scenario 6? 6 vs 9? The game will end swiftly, if we lose 2~ townies a night (worst case w/ SK).

 

No to D1 lynches, let's limit our losses and drag the days on as much as possible and see who's the first to fumble.

I'm sticking with Rafay. I haven't heard a peep from him since the accusations flew.

When they had arrived in the Common Room that evening that were chewed out by Hermione about how careless they had been and that they could have been expelled. Harry and Ron didn't really care to listen to her about it after listening to Snape.

 

The next day was the first day of classes. They had their first Defense Against the Dark Arts class with Lockhart to look forward to after lunch. The Great Hall was buzzing with first years talking about their first morning classes and with older students already complaining about their homework. Midway through lunch a large group of owls swooped into the Great Hall and rained letters and packages on their owners. A small red envelope landed in front of Ron and he turned pale. 'What is it?" Harry asked him. Look everyone! Weasley's got himself a Howler." Seamus chimed. A couple nearby students chuckled. Ron still looked as if Peeves had just popped out of the wall next to him and scared him.

 

The red envelope sprang to life and hung suspended in the air in front of Ron. The flaps of the envelope took on the shape of a face.

 

"RONALD WEASLEY! HOW DARE YOU STEAL THAT CAR!  I WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN SURPRISED IF THEY'D EXPELLED YOU, YOU WAIT TILL I GET HOLD OF YOU, I DON'T SUPPOSE YOU STOPPED TO THINK WHAT YOUR FATHER AND I WENT THROUGH WHEN WE SAW IT WAS GONE...LETTER FROM DUMBLEDORE LAST NIGHT, I THOUGHT YOUR FATHER WOULD DIE OF SHAME, WE DIDN'T BRING YOU UP TO BEHAVE LIKE THIS, YOU AND HARRY COULD BOTH HAVE DIED ... I AM ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED--YOUR FATHER'S FACING AN INQUIRY AT WORK, IT'S ENTIRELY YOUR FAULT, AND IF YOU PUT ANOTHER TOE OUT OF LINE WE'LL BRING YOU STRAIGHT BACK HOME!"

 

The Howler then turned toward Ginny who was turning red in the face: "Oh and Ginny dear, congratulations on making Gryffindor. Your father and I are so proud!" The Howler tore itself to pieces and the remains landed on the table. Laughter rang out from the Slytherin table as Ron sank as low as he could at the table.

 

After the excitement had calmed down a little bit a small mousy looking first year made his way over to Harry. Putting a large camera to his face the student took a picture of Harry and introduced himself as Colin Creevey. Harry politely said that it was nice to meet him and shook his hand. Colin's face lit up like a Christmas tree because he had just met Harry Potter and he skipped off back to the other end of the Gryffindor table.

 

After lunch Harry, Ron, and Hermione made their way to Defense Against the Dark Arts. They entered the classroom and made their way to a couple of open seats. The class sat there talking excitedly for a few minutes until the office door swung open and Lockhart emerged with a huge smile on his face. "Goof afternoon class!" He bellowed with a smile. "I am Gilderoy Lockhart, Order of Merlin, Third Class, Honorary Member of the Dark Force Defence League, and five-time winner of Witch Weekly's Most-Charming-Smile Award -- but I don't talk about that. I didn't get rid of the Bandon Banshee by smiling at her!" and he smiled again. All of the girls in the class sank into a deep awe while all of the boys chuckled or scoffed.

 

Lockhart went on to explain that in his classroom the students would be facing their darkest fears but that they had nothing to worry about while he was there. Lockhart walked over to a cage that had a cover on it sitting on his desk. He put his hand on the cover and prepared to remove it. "I must ask you not to scream, ...It might provoke them." Lockhart tore the cover off the cage to reveal a bunch of small blue mischievous pixies. "Cornish pixies?" Seamus Finnigan chuckled.

"Yes, Freshly caught Cornish pixies." Lockhart replied. Let's see what you make of them. He opened the cage door and the pixies zoomed out.

 

 

 

It is now night 1.

The pixies sped around the classroom wreaking havoc. The Gryffindors dove under desks and behind their chairs. Parvati Patil and Lavender Brown dashed to the classroom door, tore it open, and sprinted out -- several of the pixies escaped and chased them through the corridor. Papers were being shredded and rained confetti on the room, books were thrown, several of Lockhart's portraits had been knocked off the wall and now lay on the ground screaming. Three of the pixies had seized Neville's robes and hoisted him up into the air where they hooked him onto a giant chandelier where they left him hanging.

 

Harry, Ron, and Hermione were huddled under a table trying to figure out what to do. Lockhart was trying to pry away another one of his screaming portraits from the grasp of two of the pixies. After losing that battle he drew his wand, raised it, and shouted "Peskipiksi Pesternomi!" His spell failed as another pixie tore the wand from his right hand. Lockhart looked at Harry, Ron, and Hermione and said "I'll just ask you three to snag the rest of them" and he ran into his office and slammed the door shut behind him. Harry and Ron were disgusted.

 

A moment later the classroom door flew open and Professor McGonagall ran in. She had to see what was causing the racket. Professor McGonagall stunned several of the pixies nearby and then rescued Neville from the chandelier. She started moving toward a group of the pixies at the front of the room. The pixie that had commandeered Lockhart's wand flew overhead. It swung the wand toward the chandelier and snapped the chain supporting part of it. The chandelier swung down and hit Professor McGonagall knocking her to the ground.

 

Hermione had an idea. She leapt out from under the desk, raised her wand, and shouted "Immobulus!" The remaining pixies were instantly frozen, floating in the air. Harry, Ron, and Hermione grabbed them all and stuffed them back into the cage. They ran over to McGonagall laying on the floor. She was out cold.

 

Professor McGonagall (Mandarijn) a Hogwarts Watcher was knocked out on night 1.

 

 

It is now day 2. With 17 alive it takes 9 to lynch or 5 at deadline.
