With 13 alive, 7 is needed to lynch.

Sojourner - Please don't edit your posts. If you need to make corrections, make them in a new post. Thanks.

My no lynch vote isn't crazy.

We don't know the setup. Odds are that the first lynch will kill a townie. Join me in the no lynch bandwagon!

yup, but them scums will surely kill a townie anyway... scum tends to do that... so either we lynch or not, people will die. but if we don't lynch, them scums will kill us slowly.

Unvote

Narsis acted quite responsibly despite having that many votes on him so quickly. Would be a shame if he got lynched baselessly.

Obligatory: KevinH we need to put the pressure on people to see reactions and so we can review voting patterns later in the game.

This game has a far different feel than other mafia games I've played in the past. I'm glad to see so many new faces and different styles of posting.

All the new minds will definitely keep this game entertaining. Now enough schmoozing and onto the mechanics of the game. I'll try to break down the big picture and give my quick opinions on everyone.

What Happened so Far

==============

Everybody was like, "whee, I'm random and insane!" Then Mole is all like, "hey you guys quiet down up there and get to bed". Narsis calls Falzis out for role fishing and somehow gets 4 votes piled up on him. Bandwagoning is called and half the votes get recalled. That's about it.

Breakdown of Everyone

===============

Ok I lied, I don't have the strength right now but I will give my free Saturday night special pick of the week. I'm giving Falzis a vote of confidence for being most townie so far. I gotta say that I like this guys style. He comes out guns blazin right from the word go. Either he's crazy or he's innocent but right now he's getting some good points from me. Narsis has also started moving forward on my townie meter. I don't think he could get that many people voting for him if he wasn't a townie. Plus his posts seem straight forward. This doesn't mean these guys get a free pass from now on either though.

Everyone else I don't know enough about to give any pro town points. So far there have been several people who have not posted much of anything, myself included. I'm sure this will increase naturally as the game progresses to later stages but for now I will have my watchful eye on them.

For now I'll keep my vote where I left it last. I'll change it if that person can change my mind or I find someone else who is more deserving.

Keep in mind, everyone wants to stay alive. Every player here will defend their life as hard as they can, regardless of affiliation. I would not give Narsis scum points for self-preservation. If he had acted upset, like he had something to lose, then I may suspect him. However he acted quite rationally.
Anyone voting Narsis is crazy!

Vote: Falzis

But I didn't vote Narsis?.. :huh:

sojourner and junkaholic looks crazy specially the former. although it's far too early to tell for sure i guess.

KevinH seems to be on the other side of the divide again with a No Lynch strategy. Now being told by other pros that there might be mafias and a serial killer, with 11 people, that would leave us with 7 townies. 7/11 chance of lynching a townie. A 63% chance of killing an innocent. It's a sound strategy I guess with a higher chance of us getting it wrong.

Wait, I'm not sure how it works but if there is a serial killer, does that mean that there are two NKs? If that was so, it would be really dangerous to kill a townie today since that would mean 3 dead by Day 2.

But if we no lynch, we will still be clueless on day 2. Suppose this day started, everyone came in and voted no lynch. We would know absolutely nothing going into night 1. The scum wouldn't have anything to go by either, so they would submit a random kill and we still wouldn't know anything on day 2. The only way to win this game for the town is to get information and the best information is gained from voting and lynches.

I agree with the statements about the no-lynch policy. I don't think we can gain anything by not lynching.

Plus, if I understood the protective roles correctly, those people that have them need as much info as possible to decide what to do ... the same would than apply to investigative roles.

So we need to "prod" people for there reactions ...

Oh, yeah Unvote

Fair enough. But as always, the tricky part is, how do we get the ball rolling?

Ok, hmm... lemme see. sojourner seems a bit cuckoo, the world would be a better place with less mentally instable people.

Vote: sojourner
