I won 200 dollars?

Featured Replies

So I just won 200 via 2 hours ago. (Yes its from a reputable source, A twitch streamer I know, and no I don't think it was rigged so I won). This is very new, as the most I've every won is like my money back on scratch or lotto tickets that I rarely play. So I'm not sure what to do with the money exactly. I could definitly use the money, as I'll pull me out of this rut of lack of money that I have right now. but he also gave me a few other options I could do. Split it in half and roll another winner. Split it and half or take the whole thing and he could donate it to charity (Assuming I could choose witch charity). Yeah, I have no idea.

If you're cash poor, take the money and walk. You can and should donate when you are solvent, but not if you don't have enough for yourself. Also it is better for you to directly make charitable donations. The odds are not in your favor if you choose to gamble, so again cashing in is the best choice.

I like to make my charitable donations in December so I earn interest on my money all year, then tske the tax deduction. It is win/win for my charities and myself that way.

I personally do not trust any charity organizations that deal in money. They've proven to be scams and shams too many times for my taste. (I do donate food, clothing and other various material items when I can, but never money. It's almost always BS in my experience).

If it were me, I'd simply take the cash and then do whatever you want with it from there, whether it be taking it directly to a charitable cause or spending it for yourself. I wouldn't gamble, but that's how I am. I always quit while I'm ahead.
