Here's where the two in question were each day (voting-wise). I went by TW's official end-of-day vote counts. The number in parenthesizes is the number person they were on that wagon (ie 1 = First, 2 = Second, etc, etc)

I'm torn. I see KevinH's bandwagon. I'm a little inclined to doubt his RC at this point.

I still have issues with FS108 as well. There could well have been 2 of 3 scum neighbors. That said, I'm fairly certain that a scum wouldn't vote for another scum this late in the game.

KevinH has enough to be lynched at the end of the day, so I don't have to vote for him yet, barring any new information that's not forthcoming.

I honestly do keep coming back to FS on occasion. The problem is that his behavior just seems too sporadic for him to be scum. He makes almost no sense in (most of) his posts. Though there's the chance, I've dismissed it until we start running out of options.

 

At this point, unless as I said before our scum count has been inaccurate, there should be only one scum remaining.

 

And THAT is why I'm very hesitant to vote Kevin the more I think of it. I believe that FB is who he says, and thus that means Kevin could not have done anything the night KC got killed. Something had to give way there. TW has made it clear that modifiers would be revealed upon death. Would a % success rate be considered a modifier and would that be shown as well The Warrior?

 

If the answer is yes, then we know that Rhizo was blocked, and thus Kevin could not have performed the block, thus he could not be scum... Which then leaves Yehom.

If the answer is no, then we have to speculate whether or not it was a RB or a failed save.

 

Perhaps in the situation Yehom looks more town than Kevin does, but Yehom has two things he's yet to have in his favor:

1) A role

2) Another source who is likely town validate his towniness.

So I went and researched the Doctor role per the MafiaWiki (link: https://wiki.mafiascum.net/index.php?title=Doctor)

 

It never states anywhere that there is a sanity or modifier that causes protections to only be partially successful, save on this page: https://wiki.mafiascum.net/index.php?title=Faith_Healer

 

Note however that it specifically states "Faith Healer." Rhizo came back as a Paranoid Doctor, a doctor who protects and roleblocks his target, not a Faith Healer. Faith Healer is not included in the various possibilities that TW has on the main post.

 

For me, this has became a question of do I trust FB or do I trust Yehom? FB roleblocked Kevin on the night KC died, and I believe him. That means Kevin could not have been responsible for the roleblock that had to have stopped Rhizo's protection. Unless there is still 2 scum alive (and that is possible), it clears him in my book.

There's also one more possibility we do have to consider here, and that's a serial killer.

This is true, however we have no confirmation of a serial killer, wheras we can be fairly sure there's a scum left. After we find them, then the SK if it exists will be made known. Killing the final scum is by far the top priority in my book. It ensures that even if there is an SK, there is only one night kill. Also, the SK wouldn't have been the cause of the fail in Rhizo's protection. The fact stands that most likely a blocking ability wasn't used. Knowing that, and that Kevin was RBed that night leads me to have confidence in my vote. Unless you've been lying FB, Kevin is cleared from being scum. He could be SK, but we can assess that tomorrow after we take care of the scum today.

I lean away from Yehom. He wouldn't vote to get rid of scum every time a scum was eliminated. He could be a serial killer though. Hard to say.

Kevin might be playing us. I can't discount it, as he's an experienced player.

Seeing how the day has played out, I'm fairly sure that I will not be the next person killed by the coming scum night kill., which means I can sort of safely role claim. A small part of me still thinks that LS is involved in this which means that Kevin's lynch won't end the game just yet. My role claim is only so people know I told the truth if I do somehow end up killed, instead of withholding information that could have turned things around.

I'm even more convinced that Yehom is the best choice to lynch.

Scum are the only people that know who are exactly town. Roleclaiming when you're a VT like me with nothing more to add to the conversation does nothing for me. I can't prove my case without someone else's involvement. Yes I could lie about the role, which is why I opted to reveal it only when I felt that the silence could be used against me. If I keep quiet about my role, scum will be inclined to keep me alive for the simple reason that I could be anything to the rest of town. The fact that I predicted that both LS and Kevin jumped on me immediately says a lot. I don't roleclaim and I'm scum, I do roleclaim and I'm definitely scum. Like I said I'm sure I won't die the coming night kill because scum will make sure to keep me alive. I'm their best suspect to pin shit on. The question is whether the rest of the town see that. My actions so far this game should speak for itself. However if people are inclined to jump on me now and I do come up like I claimed, remember who jumped on me first.

I never said you would be scum for claiming. You've explained yourself, and at this point I'm once again feeling a coin flip.

 

The reason that I still consider you an option Yehom is because I can't wrap my head around the circumstances surrounding KC's death...

 

Perhaps we're having a situation similar to that of D2 with iSoc/myself and you're both town... I'm not entirely sure what to make of the situation.

 

 

I will note however that the likes of CoD has once again fallen quite silent, as has FS and WP. WP I'm not concerned about as much given his neighbor role combined with the favorable cop investigation. FS is also a neighbor, though more sporadic, but I doubt he'd be scum given his just plain bizarre behavior...

I think the choice here is now fairly simple.
 
If we vote KevinH, and he turns town, then we have to look at Yehom as a strong suspect.  If he turns scum, then we're OK.
 
However, I'm not going to vote the obvious.  I want someone to go active, and KevinH is 1 vote away from a hammer, which I don't wish to provide.
