4 Americans were killed in Benghazi, including an Ambassador. That is all the Obama Administration, including Hillary Clinton, wanted anyone to know about it, and they all wanted everyone to just accept it. They didn't want anyone to know that there was an entire CIA compound, with dozens of other Americans, under assault for over 13 hours, and no one lifted a finger to help them. We still don't know why there was an entire compound of CIA there... that's classified... but those hearings are the reason why we know most of the truth.

 

Seeing as it is in Libya, a CIA presence isn't that weird. Heck the amount of intel the Sec of State had on that could have been limited to none.

 

Also surprised you would want complete clarity about that, seems the various hearings focussed more on the diplomat side instead of the room with spies. Probably cause they got the security briefing about why the CIA was there and agreed to keep it under wraps. Kinda like how all the Reps who get full view of the "russia-dossier" fall largly silent afterwards.

The "Russia-dossier" is not classified, everyone already knows what was in it, and everyone already knows it's total bullshit. What is classified, and what those Reps want to talk about, but can't, is how that bullshit "Russia-dossier" was used in a FISA warrant application to obtain a warrant to investigate a U.S. Citizen, and then use that as a path to open an entire counter intelligence investigation on a Presidential candidate as an "insurance policy"... just in case Hillary Clinton loses the election... which she did.

 

The "Russia-dossier" was opposition research, unverified and uncorroborated, and paid for by Hillary Clinton and the DNC. That information was never devulged to the FISA court. It's a crime to withhold information, especially when the rights of U.S. Citizens are compromised.

I meant the "russia-dossier" as the whole shebang, the FISA court documents already state that both the Steele dossier came out AFTER the start of the investigation and it is clearly labbeled as both an (at that point) unverified document and havng been but together behets the DNC.

 

Basically the only big bombshell in the Steele-dossier that hasn't been confirmed yet is the "pee-pee tape", which I doubt anyone really wants to verify

 

Again, the moment congressional members (dems and reps) got the unclassified FISA order (and other related documents) before them from the CIA/FBI/..., they piped down and let it run. Nearly anyone still moaning about the thing is people who haven't seen the classified info, even Nunes changed tune last I heared.
