So far i only see votes on Rafay and Isocialism.

Given we would need wagons the best I can offer is to hit people already on the wagons/voting for the wagons to not overextend ourselves vote wise and create 2 separate sides to analyze voting patterns.

I think Rafay gets voted every game so it can be passed off as "oh its Rafay." And the wolfpacks/isocialism I believe isnt too concrete but we have to go off something.

Why again are you voting WP?  

 

Your post seems like you're trying to distract others from Rafay as well as isocialism.  Rafay starts off the day throwing your name out, and now you're here trying to shy people away from both Rafay and Isocialism.  It's like a effort of Rafay to distance himself from you by a minor mention of your name after Velocity but doesn't vote, and now that Rafay has 2 votes you're trying to persuade others to go elsewhere without much justification.  

 

Rafay is right in the fact everyone has been asking him to be more active for forever now.  If you want him to be more active, well then can't freak out when he finally does.  That being said, him posting does nothing to give him town points for me, he is finally playing as everyone else does and what everyone else has complained about for about forever now.  It's unique that out of all the games he has had to "change" from being inactive most of the game, he decides to now, and this game.  I think it's unreal it took him this long to actually change, this is not some new revelation that has come about, it's literally took how many mafia games now?

I'm not really for or against voting Rafay. I just see it as if hes lynched and hes town, we gain nothing because the entire wagon will be brushed off as "eh its Rafay". I'm just trying to get wagons we can actually analyze started and I feel the choices are limited on pre-existing wagons and nothing has spelt scum to me yet on anyone just as nothing has spelt town either

If a better choice than anyone existing on a wagon presents themselves, I'd be happy to hear it.

As it stands now I just want wagons forming. Whether on me, wolfpacks, isocialism, rafay, anyone. Just something to analyze so we don't waste a day with nothing to show for it except more dead town

To my mind people seem worried about voting for people, in case they are wrong and get classed as scum, but as SBG said we need to start calling people out, if only for a reaction

I find the idea of forming random bandwagons to be a little alarming. There’s a very real risk of killing townies by random choice for the purpose of stimulating discussion. Assuming there are 3 scum, 1 sk, and 8 townies the odds of randomly voting for a townie are pretty high. We are two days from deadline. Does anyone have any better ideas? I don’t have a better idea, myself, but I really don’t love this one.

Sorry haha, work has kept me busy. And whenever i'm on the forums there isn't really anything i want to comment on so far that wouldn't seem like fluff posting

That's pretty much how most mafia games go nowadays sadly. I mentioned the same thing about random voting being bad in MK's last game, and i was pretty much called scum for taking a stance against random voting lol

 

I will place a vote though, i find it very weird that Rafay is more active in this game than the others in the past that i've played with him. It could just be him being more involved, but something is telling me that it could be just trying to blend in.

Rhizo is correct in that we are finally getting from Rafay what we should have been getting a long time ago. I don’t think that him posting more is enough of a reason to vote for him. He’s just doing what he’s supposed to do — participate. However, it also doesn’t score townie points really either because participating is literally what we play the game for. I haven’t really seen a reason to vote for Rafay yet although his poorly reasoned “I’m suspicious of the active players because they’re still alive after day 1” isn’t a point in his favor.

Unfortunately deadline is in two days and we don’t really have much to go off of yet.. I think Colonel Medved is still in line to be mod killed though at this point. @CM - please continue to participate so that you aren’t mod killed.

Kevin raises an interesting point that one of the people with votes on them currently could be the result of somebody’s night action. If nothing else choosing between one of those people might give us better odds of lynching scum. No one really sticks out to me though (except what I noted about Rafay).

I also don’t want to vote for Rafay either. If I randomly vote it might be for the person who came up with this, Kevin (the always brilliant, talented, and sexy mafia maven), simply because I’m not thrilled with the idea and I think it favors scum.

Yeah due to what most of you have already said, I'm not voting because I have nobody to vote for, and if I jump on a bandwagon then I could be called out for scum,getting a townie killed, but then again, if I don't that could also be seen as a scum thing to do, so /shrug. I still stand by my thought that Rhizo is one of my last guesses to be scum or not, and like I said people have asked rafay to post more for a long while now, so I'm not holding that against or for him. Like WP has said, he is voting for Kevin because on his line on thinking, which Kevin may or may not have gotten from being scum, but /shrug again. But then again WP himself here is also being a little erratic, from what I can see. So yeah, I fell like I'm a little justified in not voting unless I really need to, because the way I see it, if more people vote for one person, and then, say, two or three other people start trying to get them to vote for somebody else, that could be good evidence towards those people being scum, if the one that dies was scum themselves....

Its only cuz I feel better him than me as I can prove useful to the town in the future.

either way, I dont think ive made it completely clear, as i am holding cards close to my chest on this, and I dont want any misinterpretation of it to impact game play
