i sentence Samus to 1 year labour camp for asking difficult questions.
I doubt a proper answer to that matter is possible.
Most pple wont make their choice until the very last moment, even they had some time prior to think ab that.
And then they will decide out of heart, not necessary rational.
Edit 1:
Theres a conflict in that case btween rational behaviour and emotional ability/strengh.
Obviously, the rational choise should be to kick the chair.
Due to reasons above, most pple wont be able to follow rational way, no matter of consequences.
Thats also the reason, economical theories and predictions doesnt fit well into real life.
Without that emotional component, that seems to have (sometimes) a stronger effect, the commercial business wld be dead.
So to answer that Q: no, i wld not kick the chair.
And i think 80%+ of population will also not do.
Edit 2:
There are 2 cotradictic effects:
A: to kick the chair is rational
B: not to kick the chair is also rational, cuz the loss of son and own guilt wld produce emotional distress.
It seems that effect B overtrumps A
---------
Im unable now to choose btwn Edit 1 and Edit 2.
And that causes me to feel emo discomfort.
As Samus is the causer, i demand $9mio compensation for personal suffering.
