Sample Role PM said:

You are a Member of the Pawnee Parks Department. Your power is in your vote.

You win when all threats to the Parks Department have been eliminated.

Players:
1) Brewersalliance (Chris Traeger), Pawnee City Manager and Rolestopper, has been threatened on night 2.

2) Colonel Medved (Ron Swanson), a 1-Shot Bulletproof Inventor and Head of the Pawnee Parks and Recreation Department has locked himself in his office on day 5.

3) Eogrim (Greg Pikitis), a Non-Consecutive Night Serial Killer, was caught on day 5.

4) Finster Baby (Donna Meagle), Pawnee Parks and Recreation Department Personnel, received a very NSFW email on night 5.

5) iSocialism (Andy Dwyer), FBI Agent and Pawnee Shoe Shiner, is at the Doctor on day 3.

6) KevinH (April Ludgate), Pawnee Parks and Recreation Department Personnel, has had her desk vandalized on night 1.

7) Nadarr (Leslie Knope), Deputy Head of the Pawnee Parks and Recreation Department, has been set up on day 2.

8) Rafay (Jeremy Jamm), a Bulletproof Pawnee City Councilor, has been caught on day 4.
9) Rhizoctonia

10) Velocity (Ben Wyatt), Pawnee Assistant City Manager, was hit with a bag of crap on night 1.

11) Wolfpacks

Rules:

  • During the day phase each player may speak and vote in-thread.
  • If a player receives the majority of the available votes during the day, they are lynched.
  • At deadline, a player with half-majority will be lynched.
  • If two players have reached half-majority and have the same number of votes, the player who reached that number of votes first will be lynched.
  • You may vote no lynch.
  • After the day, the game goes to night.
  • The game thread is closed during the night. The mafia may speak to each other at night.
  • All active roles may submit actions via PM at night.
  • The mafia can, as a faction, kill one player at night.
  • After the night, the game goes to day.
  • All dead players (lynched or killed) can no longer participate in the game.
  • Basic rules for maintaining the integrity of the game thread are in effect (i.e. players may not quote their Role PMs, nor may they discuss the game outside the game thread unless otherwise permitted, etc.)
  • The game is won when only one faction remains in the game.
  • Mass role-claiming is not allowed, but you may reveal your role if you have something interesting to share.
  • You may pm me questions or ask them in the game thread but you may not get an answer to some things.
  • When voting, please enter your vote on a separate line of your post so that it isn't easily missed.
  • Active Participation Rule:
All live players must make a minimum of 3 posts in the game thread per game day. Any player who does not meet the 3 post minimum on a given day will be subject to being mod-killed unless a legitimate reason for the lack of posting is communicated privately to the game mod. (In the event that something comes up that will prevent you from playing actively, please alert the mod so that a potential replacement can be found.) If multiple players have not met the post minimum on a given day, the player with the fewest overall posts will be mod-killed.

Game days will last seven days until there are fewer than seven players remaining. Then they will last as many days as there are players left.
Game Nights will last 48 hours.

Vote Rhizo 😉

Wow ease up, looks like I'm being made a mug

Unvote

I'll go with the majority

Vote: Eogrim

Your looking for a replacement then bam you vote?

Although I think I kinda knew that something was wrong but I was either too late with my unvote or TW missed it

Ok, so splain to me how Rhizo came up not guilty when I "investigated" him the first night?

I was able to self tailor.

That was good timing haha :D

So did you really ask for a replacement? or did you just lay low

Rhizo asked for a replacement. It was way too late in the game for me to find one though so he contributed when he could.

I did not miss the unvote, it was just too late to matter. As soon as a hammering vote is placed the day ends instantly. Anything that happens after that point doesn't matter.

Mod Notes:

  • The game lore was loosely based on bits and pieces of a couple episodes of Parks and Rec with my own twists of course.
  • Colonel Medved was given the role of Inventor. His role allowed him to gift a role to another player at night. CM was able to choose whom to gift but he was NOT able to choose the gift given to them. I created 6 different types of "gift" based off of the Ron Swanson Pyramid of Greatness from Parks and Rec. The gift types were:
  1. Security (Bodyguard)
  2. Weapons (Vigilante)
  3. Physical Fitness (Tracker)
  4. Living in the Woods (Commuter)
  5. Suspicion (Cop)
  6. Skim Milk (No Use)
  • Each gift type was assigned a weight and I used a weighted random value generator to select which gift was actually given that night. Once a gift was given to a player, that role automatically superseded the target's own role if they had one.
  • These were the results of CM's night actions:
  1. Night 1: Gifted Finster Baby the "Suspicion" git. Finster used this gift to investigate Rhizo and found him Not Guilty since Rhizo tailored himself.
  2. Night 2: Gifted Brewersalliance the "Skim Milk" gift. Skim Milk was a useless gift with no power.
  3. Night 3: Gifted Rhizoctonia the "Bodyguard" gift. This overrode Rhizo's tailor ability and caused him to "protect" Rafay instead.
  4. Night 3: Gifted Eogrim the "Skim Milk" gift. This overrode Eogrim's SK kill ability and nullified his night action.
  5. Night 4: Gifter Wolfpacks the "Living in the Woods" gift. This cause Wolfpacks to commute instead of using his reporter action.
  • iSocialism was actually an FBI Agent and was given that role to hunt Eogrim (SK).
  • The SK and Mafia factions both targeted Colonel Medved on night 3 but both kills failed. Rafay's kill was stopped by CM's 1-shot bulletproof modifier and Eogrim's kill failed because CM gifted him Skim Milk that same night. If both kill attempts would have gone through, CM would have died. This was a huge swing in the town's favor. It allowed CM to survive another day which he used to gift Wolfpacks the commuter role which saved him from Eogrim's SK kill on night 4.

I lucked out on that one haha

Was i right about the false claim by Rafay? Did you leave hints @The Warrior? Or did he just make that claim up himself

I'm Mayor Jerry Gergich, 1-shot vig who is bulletproof to night kills that's why I was able to survive any nks.

I think i'm going to have to call BS on this one, and here is why.

  • The flavor text is mostly based around an episode in Season 2. Jerry was only mayor for the last episode of the Final Season (Season 7). I think it would be odd for TW to make a reference to one episode of the whole series, specifically an episode that is far from this event.
  • After Season 4, it was revealed that Jerry's real name was Garry. If you are the Mayor version of "Jerry", then why wouldn't his name be Garry?

Rhizo asked for a replacement. It was way too late in the game for me to find one though so he contributed when he could.

Fair nuff TW, was hoping I was quicker than you but fair result

Nah I did.  This time of the year my workload should be a lot less, but unfortunately we're setting records for the least amount of rainfall and without rain it makes keeping a golf course alive a lot more difficult.  11-12 hour work days 11 days in a row leaves little time.

Please clear my confusion.

In the event of a tie, no one is given a win

No, everyone in the tie gets credit for a win (apologies to Eogrim the Serial Killer).

I updated the Wins and Losses by putting it in the "Other" category.
