I've not seen anything obvious point to Kevin except his week claim, Kaziocore's is a strong claim and with only MK saying it sounds like something brewers would make giving it backing, I'd still like to hear from Colonel medved on what Robert did.

This is true. Though kazio is now on the hook here on out on revealing his night actions. Guess I am too.

I'm not sure what to make of rafay at this point. Usually he's on my scum radar.

I can only speculate on the information I was given. I know medved, Kevin, and kazio have a night action. Medved is likely not a rolebloker as tw hasn't mentioned being blocked. If it's a investigative role, nothing imcremidatimg happened. As for Kevin. Idk. Tracker is a very safe claim. Especially considering I saw him visit sister midnight who died. The fact I netted two people visiting is more then I could of asked. Kazio. Idk what to think with that. I
One is the killer though.

Kevin not using his action night 0 is.....well. it's odd. I understand if he was truly busy. But doesn't help him if he is a tracker. A 50-50 chance at least at hitting scum.

I'm leaning towards Kevin currently.

At this point I'm more inclined to believe Kazio's role claim because it seems too detailed to be falsified. Deadline is still 5 days away though and Kevin already has 4 votes (enough to lynch him at deadline) so I am not going to vote for him yet.

 

However, one thing that I am wondering about though with Kazio's claim is why he got "No result" on SM. It doesn't really make sense to me why he'd receive that result from a VT. I don't see anything in the role description on mafia wiki that indicates it would return that result.

 

Kazio couldn't have been role blocked because then his action wouldn't have gone through at all and therefore Robert never would have seen him visit SM..

 

 

@Medved - Can you further confirm Robert's role claim at all? Did you visit me on night 1?

Other possibilities of how Sister Midnight died besides a kill by Kaziocore or me:

• A Suicidal condition was met
• The Watcher was with the scum and saw 2 townies visit while the scum made the kill.
• A Ninja made the kill unseen by the Watcher
• A Poisoner visited Night 0.

Any if these would fit into the flavor of the game.

 

However, my vote stays on Kaziocore.  I think his roleclaim is too over-the-top.

 

My role simply said that I was Ben Shapiro and I excelled in digging up information on the Clintons.

I could investigate one player each night and discover which player they targeted (if any).

I had never heard of a suicidal condition before but that is potentially notable to me. From the wiki:

 

A Suicidal player will passively commit suicide when a certain time-based trigger occurs. The most common instance of this is the Suicidal Townie, which will passively die Night 1.

 

That does fit what occurred last night. SM died on night 1 and Brewers spelled this out in her role reveal:

I'm not ready to say with any level of certainty yet that this is what actually occurred but it should be considered at least. I could see Brewers doing something like this in one of his games as an interesting twist. If this is what occurred, it's possible that both KevinH and Kaziocore are telling the truth about their roles.

 

 

The idea of a Poisoner is also interesting in relation to this game theme:

 

A Poisoner can target a player to kill them. However, this kill will take place at the end of the next Night. Thus, the poisoned player can get one more Day and Night of actions out.

 

I could see this role existing with this being a "Night 0" start. Brewers said that the scum faction couldn't kill on night 0 but this would be an interesting way to "offset" the lack of a night 0 kill for that faction by basically giving them a second kill on "Night 1". Although with only 1 kill last night that would mean that we probably had another kill blocked somehow.

If it was a poisoner or suicide then why wasn't there two kills? The scum kill for the night just happened to be blocked as well? That may be possible but I'm going with Occam's Razor on this and am going to say it's probably the simpliest answer - that it was one of the ones who visited SM last night.

Good point. If there is a poisoner, sister midnight was posioned on night 0. Then why it comes up suicide because of the Clinton's? Making the Clinton's a posioner? If that's true. Somebody else is a dead man walking. Could be me or any other townie. However, if somehow there is. Medved couldn't be the poisoner or Kevin or kazio. However. Worse case if there is. He has 4 targets he can pick and choose who he'd think is most dangerous to him. That being said I'm probably already a big target. Regardless if there is a poisoner or not.

Sorry fellas, i'm bad at playing two games at once. I totally forgot this went to day, i just caught up on all the posts.

 

I can confirm Robert's information is correct, i did visit TW on N0. I suppose i should go ahead and claim

 

 

I am Micheal Scorn, an FBI Agent. I can investigate a player each night to check if that person is a Serial Killer.

 

In other works, there is a SK in the game.

 

Night 0: Investigated TW, and received Not Guilty

Night 1: Investigated Kazicore, and received Not Guilty

 

The results only say that they are not an SK, but they could still be scum.

Thanks CM. That at least confirms Robert’s role for us, although not his alignment officially. But for now it’s a safe bet that he’s town.

So then we come back to the question of SM’s death and Kevin’s and Kaziocore’s role claims. We know that they both visited SM on the night that she died but both have claimed town roles. If only 1 of them is in fact town I think it’s most likely that it’s Kaziocore but I still don’t want to write off the possibility that there is something else at play here. Brewers does like to include twists and the suicidal thing or poisoner could fit this theme well.

And now with CM claiming FBI Agent we should assume a SK exists as well. It’s possible that any SK could have a restriction of some kind (X-Shot, Odd/Even, etc) which could explain there only being 1 death last night or he/she could have been sitting on the role hoping to avoid detection until later in the game. Chances are that CM will end up getting targeted now that he’s claimed and potentially one of our other claimed PR’s like Robert.

I do think it's just a flavor text because Eogrim also died by committing suicide.

I'm not familiar with games modded by brewersalliance but if I'm the mod, I'll create fake role claims for mafia and other third-party roles to counter mass role-claiming

Well. Didn't have to rc. But it's good information. There are likely 2 enemy factions. TW makes excellent points. Brewers games always have a twist. Hell there was a jester in one of his games. (He still hasn't lived that down yet). So I can't discount a ninja role or poisioner. It's likely I'm now a prime target along with medved. any doc is playing a guessing game who the bad guys think is the bigger threat.

However, I'm going to play devil advicate. If Kevin and kazio are telling the truth, I imagine both the ninja role, and posioner are both in effect. 2 roles to prevent watcher and tracker lose power and keep scum alive. Look at kazio and medved roles. Strong in one area, weak in another. Whitch means if both are saying the truth, we get half the results per investigation. Meaning they both have to investigate the same target for sure results. What's to limit me as a watcher. If Kevin is telling the truth, something is like in play to limit us both stance there is more then one type of role.

So in terms of verified townies, our lists get shorter. As we can say rafay and kazio are not serial killers, but can be mafia. (I forget who kazio targeted n1) but they could be a serial killer.
