Nah , TW alive day 2 = scum

 

There are several reasons why I might be alive on day two and "being scum" isn't one of them. Scum don't usually target certain players on night one because: 1) It makes people like you say "X is alive on day 2 he must be scum!" and 2) certain players are just more likely to be protected by town power roles on early nights.

 

It appears that Rafay is more or less claiming to be a VT. Is that accurate, Rafay?

That’s part of why I think some active players don’t die early on. Scum knows they’ll just be ruining the games and yeah they’ll win but they’ll lose. However, even knowing that that could help. Who’s most likely to not kill the active players on N1 or early on? Other active players. Although, it’s also entirely possible the scum is just mixing up their strategy and going for more random choices.

Scum factions take calculated risks in their decision making, especially earlier on before any game roles are known. It is obviously to their benefit to remove good, active players early in a game since they won't have an opportunity to hurt them as the game goes on. They have to choose their targets carefully though since the most likely candidates to draw a town power role's protection early on are the traditionally good, active players. This is one of the big reasons why the "X is alive on day 2 he must be scum" logic is completely flawed and irresponsible. Most times player X is still alive because the scum would rather get a guaranteed kill on another solid player than risk going for someone who might be likely to be protected.

TW actually has a history of surviving pretty late into games when he is town so him being alive does not point to him being scum at all.

I can't really think of a single instance where TW was killed n1 by the scum. I am not saying he is town or he isn't scum but I'm saying using the TW is alive he must be scum theory is just ridiculous
The mod kill was something that stuck out to me but MK weighed in on it. If it was soley cause TW was scum I don't think MK would have said what he said, as that would be borderline mod interference

So since i haven't checked what the post count were at the end of D1, i will post the count at the end of each day from now on.

But in order to solve the current run of inactivity, i have a idea.

Stay within a quarter of the top poster's posts.

This would be fairly easy.
As at the moment, that number would be 22/4 = 5.5 or 6.
Everyone, except Kazio, is within that limit.

So kazio is in line to be mod killed, unless he gets over the line, which atm is 6.
which may, of course, change, depending on brewer's eccentricity and Robert.

But in all fairness, we have about 3 days to go.
So it should be easy.

We are three days away from deadline so things can change between now and then, but do you have any thoughts on anyone to share in case it doesn't?
