• This game contains Town, Mafia, and Infected (Cult) factions.
• During the Day phase, each player may speak and vote inthread.
• If a player receives the majority of the available votes during the Day, they are lynched.
• At deadline, a player with half-majority will be lynched; the first player to reach the most votes over half-majority will be lynched in the event of a tie.
• You may vote No Lynch.
• Players that are lynched or night-killed will become Tree Stumps where they can still post but not vote.
• This is a No-Reveal Game but Tree Stumps will be identified.
• After the Day, the game goes to Night.
• The game thread is closed during the Night. The Mafia may speak to each other Day and Night.
• All Active Roles may submit actions via PM at Night.
• The Mafia can, as a faction, kill one player at Night.
• After the Night, the game goes to Day.
• Basic rules for maintaining the integrity of the game thread are in effect (i.e. players may not quote their Role PMs, nor may they discuss the game outside the game thread unless otherwise permitted, etc.)
• Mass role-claiming is not allowed
• Players may role-claim if they have something interesting to share or if they become a Tree Stump; they do not have to tell the truth
• Infecteds will not generally know each other.
• Mafia that become Infected will show as Infected to investigations but will retain the original Mafia win condition.
• Townies that are Infected will win with the Infected faction.

Game Days will last half as many real-life days as there are players alive
Game Nights will last 24 hours; actions may be sent early if desired.

If a recruitment and investigation occur the same night, the investigation will show as Infected (Cult).

I use Natural Action Resolution but will announce a variance here.

 

If a kill and a recruit occur the same night, they will both succeed; i.e. the target will become a Tree Stump with a Cult win condition.

Let me comment on this.

 

It is totally OK to post results of night actions. Whether doing so makes you a target is a decision to be made. Also consider that you can still post what you know after you've been killed which is different from most games.

 

I just don't want the thread to devolve to a situation where everyone is forced to role claim, because I'm sure with all roles posted, a breaking strategy could be found.  That would ruin the game and would only prove I didn't create a perfect setup (which we already know).

Lyner claimed to have an investigative role. Lynching him after that on short notice would have been irresponsible.

so this means one of three things:

 

a)  we have a fruit vendor

b ) either torres or lyner is lying

c) lyner has a sanity modifier that gave him a false result.  I did not see anything in the rules stating multiple sanities may be in place so this is not likely

most likely scenario.  lyner is scum of some kind and CM is in the cult.  Lyner could be mafia, which would make sense why he didnt know CM was infected, or he could be in the cult and gave a correct result on TW as town so he gains TWs trust and lies to try to protect CM.  Or both could be a lie

 

either way i think the best bet is to lynch CM for now
