I'm kind of struggling with this one. I agree with Kevin that there are plenty of townie roles that a gunsmith would be informed of having a gun, so I don't know why Rafay would deny it. MK likes to twist information to be misleading, but I don't remember him ever just outright lying about something like this.

 

On the other hand, MK is an experienced player and mod, and surely knows that "having a gun" is a gunsmith-y type of information to get and doesn't imply scum - I even knew it just from reading the wiki in the past. Him representing this information as clear evidence of Rafay being scum is really suspicious to me. Him getting the info could be legit, but MK is good at twisting real info into something that makes town waste a day lynching another townie, and this feels a lot like that.

And now that i think of it, i think that rafay might not necessarily be scum.
But that doesn't mean he doesn't have some sort of killing role.

And if the message i got is to be believed, then Rafay's RC didn't match with the gun thingy.
And thus why i believed why he might be lying and is a scum with a safe claim.
