[The Warrior]

I'm always so conflicted about The Warrior.

If he really is a Miller, his posts match the actions a Miller would take.

On the other hand, I've been burned too many times with posts that are "too elaborate to be fake."

 

Doesn't anybody else have some information that points to somebody else?

 

I promise you that I am a Town Miller and trying to play this as straight up as possible.

I would like to say that I chose to "come out" to TW because I knew that he could vouch for me if he was town and that people would actually believe what he had to say.

It doesn't matter, you would have gotten a guilty result whether he was telling the truth or lying. That's how both a miller role and being scum works, which is why TW and I (and hopefully others lol) are both facepalming. Not only did you waste an action, but now you've essentially wasted your entire role just to confirm something that town already knew, which was that a cop investigation on TW would return guilty. Good going, oh genius one.

 

He could be a miller scum for all we know!?

It's easy to sus the people that were active and voted when a wrong (or self defense) play is made, but it's just as easy to hide in the "Did not vote" section of D1. Rafay, Tony, Velocity, and COD should be just as sus as myself. If you look back at who I was voting for, I only changed when my own life was at stake! Were you in a similar position, would you not do the same?

I don’t think you’re suspicious for voting to save yourself, everyone would do it. Anyone who says otherwise is lying through their teeth.

A townie wouldn’t let themselves get lynched knowing they’re town, especially if they have a role or something interesting, and scum’s goal is to not get lynched or killed.

Yeah I mean if we have to pick between captain or TW/Torres, I guess I currently feel like captain is less likely to be town since he hasn't done much except post a lot. That's not nothing though, and I haven't seen anything that suggests he might be scum.

If no one has any useful information beyond what TW and Torres have essentially claimed, then I feel more comfortable going after less active players again. This seems like it would be an easy game for scum to hide and try to wait out a few mislynches, and if nothing else maybe it'll spark some more activity. I'm on mobile so does anyone have a post count handy?

This seems like it would be an easy game for scum to hide and try to wait out a few mislynches, and if nothing else maybe it'll spark some more activity.

 

This is how I feel as well. When big game events occur that are potentially controversial (i.e. a Miller role claiming and the subsequent debate about it) scum usually enjoys watching the fallout and letting town go after town. A scum might participate in that debate to help steer the narrative a bit but it's not uncommon for most scum to sit back and watch it play out and avoid being put on the spot in such situations.
