I'm just playing the odds.
13 players probably means 3 scum.
We can't vote no-lynch but it's essentially a random chance so only 3/13 chance of getting scum.

The Warrior has essentially said that an investigation on him will yield scum.
A Miller could say that. A scum could say that. I call that a 50% chance.

All that said, I would rather that The Warrior be subject to trial by combat rather than lynched.
He might survive and if we have a role cop, he could check whether the Miller claim is valid.

Potentially outing myself on day 1 as scum wouldn’t exactly be a great strategy when I have no way of knowing whether or not a role cop exists.

I’d rather we not allow a townie to go to trial by combat when we could look for an actual scum instead.

There are 32 possible townie roles, counting Tracker twice; claiming Miller as scum is not a bad gambit to make.

If captain turns out town I'm 100% going after the people who got him in trial by combat if that's where he ends up. Lynching the most active players on D1 for no reason is beyond stupid.

I'm sticking with my vote on Torres for voting and unvoting on captain within like 2 hours.

The fact that I haven’t come right out and “officially” role claimed should be even more of a reason for you to believe me. Why would I be so coy like this unless I really am what I am and have a modifier preventing me from role claiming on day 1? If I was scum and wanted to make a gambit like this on day 1, I’d likely not have such a modifier preventing me from officially claiming and I would have just fully claimed already and taken my shot. The fact that I am not fully able to claim should tell you that the powers that be knew the optimal strategy for such a role and wanted to see what would happen when that strategy couldn’t be utilized.

That depends if Brewers is actually counting his own vote or leaving it on captain for the lolz. He could also be doing it to tip the scales towards captain a little bit for making Brewers almost modkill him.

Lol it's not an actual vote. I just left it on him to see how long it took for anyone to notice, which ended up being wayyyy too long
