Vengeful Mafia

Setup
The following roles are used:

• 1 Flagbearer
• 1 Mafia Goon
• 3 Vanilla Townies

Mechanics
The game uses standard mafia rules, with the following exceptions and details:

• Nightless. The mafia have no night kill.
• If the flagbearer is eliminated at any point, the town immediately wins. (This is the only special quality of the flagbearer.)
• If, on Day 1 only, one of the townies is eliminated, this townie immediately gets to make a kill. (See Vengeful)
• The town does not automatically win by having the flagbearer killed in this way.
• Mafia wins when there are at least as many mafia as townies, and the town doesn't have a vengeful kill to use.

WE BASICALLY HAVE TO LYNCH D1.  IRONIC THIS IS A KEVIN GAME

 

IF WE NO LYNCH D1, WE ARE AT THE EXACT SAME PLAYER DYNAMIC D2, HOWEVER, A MISLYNCH ON D2 WILL BE A LOSS FOR THE TOWN SINCE IT WOULD BE 2-2 WITH NO VENGFUL KILL

 

AT LEAST IF WE MISLYNCH D1 WE HAVE A SHOT AT GETTING A KILL

 

 

PROBLEM IS, IF WE ARE INACTIVE THEN ITS JUST GONNA BE PURE GUESSWORK AND KEVIN MIGHT AS WELL JUST USE AN RNG TO DETERMIN WHICH SIDE WINS LOL

scum are probably gonna take the approach of not trying to drive the conversation/lynch since they dont wanna get hit when there is a mislynch.

 

Rafay voted me right out of the gate.  scum rafay usually is quiet early games  so i lean town on him for that

two things with this 

 

"whats the name of the town" stands out to me as an odd thing to say.  since when do we ever have names for the town?  feels like someone trying to highlight themselves as town and pass it off as humor

 

and two:

 

pointing out rafay is trying to get me kliled even tho its just a lulz vote ten seconds into day 1.  Rafay is always an easy lynch target, so trying to make rafay sound eager to kill someone and get a train on him without actually voting for rafay could be a scum tactic.  get us to vote him off and sail to an easy win for the scum

This is just the second game in a long time. I felt like the town should have a name, how wrong is that?

 

As for Rafay's vote, I understand that there are lul votes all the time, particularly in D1, but in a game where just two more are needed, seems like a risky move, especially considering that (sorry Rafay) Rafay is typically not one of the more active folk.

 

I suppose that risk is averted slightly by the fact that this game is nightless.

The rest of us should consider him as a suspect, but the math for any town members is that they know they are town therefore 50% of the rest of the players are scum.

if you are town, not only do you know for a fact that there is a 50/50 chance that any of the remaining players are scum, but also you know for a fact that 25% of them is the instant town win if he dies guy
