5. iSocialism (Doctor Strange), an Avenger Doctor, has been killed on night 1.

15. Zacch (Captain America), an Avenger Bodyguard, has been killed on night 4.

Rules:

• This game features a day 1 start.
• During the day phase each player may speak and vote in-thread.
• If a player receives the majority of the available votes during the day, they are lynched.
• At deadline, a player with half-majority will be lynched.
• If two players have reached half-majority and have the same number of votes, the player who reached that number of votes first will be lynched.
• You may vote no lynch.
• After day 1, the game goes to night 1.
• The game thread is closed during the night. The mafia may speak to each other at night.
• All active roles may submit actions via PM at night.
• The mafia can, as a faction, kill one player at night.
• After the night, the game goes to day 2.
• All dead players (lynched or killed) can no longer participate in the game.
• Basic rules for maintaining the integrity of the game thread are in effect (i.e. players may not quote their Role PMs, nor may they discuss the game outside the game thread unless otherwise permitted, etc.)
• The game is won when only one faction remains in the game or nothing can prevent the same.
• Mass role-claiming is not allowed, but you may reveal your role if you have something interesting to share.
• You may pm me questions or ask them in the game thread but you may not get an answer to some things.
• When voting, please enter your vote on a separate line of your post so that it isn't easily missed.
• Hidden game mechanics may or may not exist in this game.

• Active Participation Rule:
  • All live players must make a minimum of 3 posts in the game thread per game day. Any player who does not meet the 3 post minimum on a given day will be subject to being mod-killed unless a legitimate reason for the lack of posting is communicated privately to the game mod. (In the event that something comes up that will prevent you from playing actively, please alert the mod so that a potential replacement can be found.) If multiple players have not met the post minimum on a given day, the player with the fewest overall posts will be mod-killed.
• New Rule:
  • Since we are attempting to relaunch mafia on these forums and rekindle interest, no events from previous games (IC or OOC) may be mentioned in this game. This is a new start for all mafia players. All posts made should be about this game and this game alone. Bury any old game grudges for the sake of the new game.

Game days will last seven days until there are fewer than seven players remaining. Then they will last as many days as there are players left.
Game Nights will last 48 hours.

Why would we lynch tony? There is literally zero reason to lynch him. I get Kevin voting someone because he can’t vote himself and he’s not gonna just go alright yiu caught me but Robert seems to be doing it just to do it and apparently piss me off lol

Tony being given a role to play mafia has nothing to do with him being scum lol it has to do with a ton of people putting pressure on irons council and asking for him to be allowed to play. So If that’s why you are voting him that’s beyond dumb and honestly TW shouldn’t even count the vote

I mean tbh Robert could also be voting for Tony because he and Kevin are both scum and he's trying to help his scum buddy out lol. Gonna be one of the nice things about seeing if Kevin really does flip scum or not.

I'm pro lynching the inactives, iirc Voyeur is mostly a town role? We can let Kevin live and prove his ability tonight

as for the inactives, that's iSoc?

iSoc got killed last night. Kevin voyeur'ed iSoc and immediately claimed it. Probably why he's not posting lol

I am not sure if you are really this clueless or its just a cover post.

PS. I have the inactive list in one of my earlier posts. Mk and jazz payed once and then has been suspiciously quite. Bryan and Preston hasn't shown up at all on d2

How dose this shit happen?

I have to give Brewers benifit of the doubt he isn't scum as I'm still here. Though his reasoning is something to behold.

Damn, i forgot about this, until i saw tw's ping.

Kevin's RC is strange, maybe an attempt to get a innocent child.

His vote on tony is very weak, like that vote was very early day from velocity

Robert 's vote, now that's interesting

Bandwagoning someone that quick is sussy.

FoS Roberto, for sure.

Kevin, I would say leave, for now.

He's probably trying to do something stupid to not get night killed

oh wow I'm a bit distracted

well Tony's next on the line now that MK has posted

I have to question if you've read anything in this game. Just because you have a silly seal for an avatar dosen't mean you need to act like one.

Kevin is much better at this game than I am so I can't tell if he's playing 4D chess by roleclaiming. I can't imagine what else Black Widow would be if not a tracker/voyeur/etc, but I agree with the rest that such a quick RC was strange. And yes, he could be lying about his character name. I again find myself in a situation though where my vote is currently meaningless as there are enough votes to lynch Kevin so I'll hold off on voting.

Hahaha. I was thinking the same thing, like how did Lyner just completely miss that Tony has been banned from the entire forums for the past week or two?

Dude. Avoiding taking a position and voting at all is insanely sus. You can't hammer Kevin yet, but you can get him closer and also ensure that a single unvote doesn't prevent him from being deadline day lynched, or you could put him and Tony at a tie (even though I have zero idea why anyone is voting for Tony at this point other than to lynch someone other than Kevin, which in and of itself feels very sus to me). Your vote is very meaningful, but the absence of your vote is also meaningful in that it lets you keep playing without any legit evidence of your opinions on people who could flip town or scum after today, which is super scummy imo.

So, FoS: Jazzy

Reluctance to vote is kinda sus.

Reluctant voting is pretty consistent to how I've always played this game. But keep teasing me with those fingers

Reluctant voting is pretty consistent to how I've always played this game. But keep teasing me with those fingers

he likes fingers apparently.

The absolute ratbaggery going on is quite amazing, chief among the ratbags being Robert and Kevin. While I don't fully believe any claims of their evilness, their reasons for voting me are clearly deluded and extremely unjustified.

Let us go through this:

Day 1 Vote

Velocity (1): iSocialism

Tony Maurice (1): Velocity

Zacch (2): Tony Maurice, Imran Ehsan

lilweirdward (1): Brewersalliance

Lord MK (1): Lyner

No Lynch (8): KevinH, Darkfox, Bryan93, Robert2424, Jazzy95, Preston, Zacch, Lord MK

Not Voting: lilweirdward

Why was iSocialism killed?

iSocialism voted for Velocity.

Option 1: Velocity is scum and felt threatened so he killed iSocialism.

Option 2: Velocity is town and and the scum wanted to frame Velocity.
Why frame Velocity? Because he was voting for Tony.

I'll go with Option 2.

Vote: Tony

This hypothetical game is absolute trash. Anyone can easily draw their own points from a situation like this. You simply voted for someone who hasn't even been able to defend themselves. You claimed for a weak reason and now you are just going to dangerously deflect bitchy votes onto me for bitchy reasons.

A tracker or watcher could have seen somebody else visit iSocialism.  A role claim by me afterwards would be even more sus.

It's Day 2 and people know somethin'

I have a legitimate claim on the table, which can be proven in future days.

Scum would want me lynched before I can be proven.

????????????????????????????????

Sure your claim is legitimate and probably will be proven in future days but was it even that useful??  Sure there was discussions of scripted deaths and such but really... Really?? Is this not what you are trying to do to me? Lynch me before I am proven? Over some weak hypothetical trash that velocity's meme vote was the mafia trying to frame him? Do you really think anyone took velocity's vote that serious or that anyone with power to do so would seriously kill over such a minor day 1 meme??

Everything is flimsy.  But what else is there?

If I was scum and made the kill, there is a very low probability with so many players that I would have been seen so there is no need fake claim.

But I'm town and can share information.  So I did.

Suppose I had not claimed.  There is nothing else to go on so it becomes a random lynch, probably influenced by inactivity.  Tony is as good a choice as any.

And how am I as good a choice as any? How about people who have literally contributed nothing or people as clueless as lyner not even bothering to read the game and voting with a wilful ignorance to everything around them? So no, I am not as good a choice as any. Just a convenient one for your made up agenda.

Come on Kevin, you're better than this. You are acting like trash here and if you are town it's just a dumb move. You started a wagon on someone who couldn't even defend themselves for a while and the ignorant are now jumping on it. When I first saw your claim earlier in the day I really didn't think you were scum but the more I have been thinking the more I believe you are scum.

Well. Considering the options...

It's a weak power claim. A mob is forming around Kevin. I see some people are actually dismissing why he would actually do this as a townie very easily. It's clear many of you are grasping at straws for any lynch.

So do I believe Kevin. Idk. It could be a town or scum role, but I've always made it a town role. But considering I don't think it really a safe play. I would think at the very least he is telling the truth about his power. Witch if that's the case I have one of my predictions.

Prediction: all 4 sister power roles are in the game. Or at least 3. A tracker, a watcher, a Follower, and a Voyager. (The reason I say 3 is most DM's actually don't usually like Follower for whatever reason. (It's personally one of my favorite roles).

So if I was in Kevin's position as town.... I'd definitely think that, and if I visited Isoc and he died with the Voyager role.....I would claim as he did.

It might be too late as convincing the mob who dismissed what was probably the smartest play if he was town already. My thoughts certainly aren't going to persuade them.

However we have someone who can't even really participate in the game and probably should of been Mod Killed in my opinion. So I'll go against the grain especially if it pisses off Brewers.

VOTE TONY

Unless someone has something worth while prusuing. Cause certainly the ones on the Kevin bandwagon makes more sense to Bandwagon to Bandwagon.

if that is your only reason for the vote you should remove that right now

I mean. I'm surprised they gave you a role just for Mafia. The whole unwilling to mod kill you I have to imagine you have a role that would of have to be replaced otherwise would throw the balance out of wack. The only roles that would do that is a scum role of some kind.

If I'm wrong about Kevin, I'm wrong. I still feel it's likely Kevin is town. He outed himself that he visited Isoc. Why would scum do that? If you want to suspect me it's fine. let's draw the lines in the sand then. If he scum go for lynching me. If he's town. Well, we have a shortlist of who's on the wagon as someone on there will likely be scum. Or we can Lynch Tony here. Otherwise those are the only two options this dayphase is providing by the players. Unless someone is holding something back?

Not that I'm surprised. They hade to latch onto something. Otherwise it be the person with the least amount of posts. Btw. Who's with the least amount of posts anyways?

Come on Robert, are you not also better than this? You are just going to vote me for literally no good reason? When I get remasked invalidating your original reason you are going to keep your original vote? And seriously I think it just bad sportsmanship to bring this whole out of game replacement thing into this. It's a weak argument for a weak vote. I think you should know better than to do low things like that. And I think you should move past trying to piss brewers off and using it as a mask to vote for me. I mean really? Also the logic is just completely flawed for my role here, we were always trying to get me remasked since the day I lost access because I had already began the game. Anyway, I think this OOC shit should really be left out and Robert should be ashamed for trying to use it as a reason to lynch.

Anyway, you 2 really are playing the day like scumbags. I couldn't even defend myself until now and you've gone ahead and started this shit.

Does five fingers equal a jazz hand?

Also, Tony doth protest too much, methinks.

TW usually gives safe claims, especially in a game where there is a theme

Reluctant voting is pretty consistent to how I've always played this game. But keep teasing me with those fingers

Well then you've played with a style that is detrimental to the town, and you should knock it off lol.

Does five fingers equal a jazz hand?

Also, Tony doth protest too much, methinks.

Tony has only actually tried like this once, and he was town, so for now I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt.

If we are going to be honest with ourselves, most the time I've been voted off has been for shitty reasons with no matter what Role I was or if I was scum or not, or if I said the right things or not. So your not going to Garner sympathy from me. My opinion is my own. I'm not the Mod. If I was things would be different. If you don't like it, tough luck. I realize you think our arguments are weak. Well. Guess what, if find the argument for Kevin's lynch weak. I vote for my reasons

Brewers is actually correct. However unsure if we can about that with the game rules not talking about previous games.

Therefore I can release a who my suspects are currently.

In Order from my strongest suspect to least: Tony, Lilwierdward, Lunar, Zach, MK.

Others I either don't have a good read on or is mad mainly Neutral. I also don't really have any good town reads.

In Order from my strongest suspect to least: Tony, Lilwierdward, Lunar, Zach, MK.

Can you explain why Tony would be your strongest suspect? You haven't given any real reasons for voting him at all except that you think he's a better candidate than Kevin (and also OOC reasons that I don't think are fair). That's fine and a semi-valid reason to vote someone, but it's a big leap to go from "no better candidate available" to "strongest scum suspect" seemingly overnight.

Who's lunar?

Either Kevin is playing pretty badly as town or he got caught trying to be to smart as scum. I am saying badly because the reasoning for the vote on tm was extremely weak. I kind of get why he rushed to a role claim if he was town, though I don't agree that it was a smart move if he is town. So basically I have been thinking about which one is more possible. Kevin is a really experienced player and I don't really buy that he will get caught so easily as scum. If it was a noob player it would have been understandable. So I am not going to vote for him he should be given another day or two to prove himself.

But I also don't see why tm should be lynched. He hasn't been around for most of this game for no fault of his, and I have no scummy vibes from him from his posts.

So I am just gonna go with my gut on this one and vote for the guy who is acting the most scummy imo

Vote jazz

He made a party on D2 which means he wasn't inactive and then completely went silent after Kevin role claimed, as if he wanted to see his others take his role claim before saying something one way or other. He only showed up after I put out the list of inactives and made one of the scimitar posts I have seen in mafia (I don't t have to mention which). I have some suspicions on some others as well, but I will vote for him now, even though its unlikely that he will get lynched today.
