The "Late End to Day 4" VC

crazyemolad - 1 (junkahoolik)

Kaziocore - 4 (Falzis, Aquinas, CanucksDynasty, angel of doom)

Falzis - 2 (crazyemolad, Sir Jesus)

Not voting - 1 (Kaziocore)

"It's getting late again," stated CanucksDynasty.

Aquinas gets up on his soap box.

"[insert long-winded speech]So in conclusion, I think we should all vote Kaziocore. He claimed to be anti-town, and at this point it is our safest bet to a win."

Aquinas gets off soap box.

"Meh works for me," said CanucksDynasty.

"For the record I'm self-aligned not anti-town, but meh," responded Kaziocore to the approaching crowd.

With indifference, he allows himself to be dragged to the cliff edge and thrown over...

And nothing happens.

"Odd. I would have expected his body to dissolve or something," stated angel of doom. "Maybe he wasn't a summoned monster afterall."

"Then why in the world...," began Aquinas , cut short by a sudden chill.

Turning and looking down the cliff, they see Kaziocore's body dissolve into a pool of black shadow, before blowing away in the wind leaving no trace.

"See that's what I thought was supposed to happen," said angel of doom.

And so everyone headed back into town to their beds for the night. A chill was felt in every house, regardless of how may blankets or how hot the fire burned...

Kaziocore, Shade(self-aligned "Cop"), indifferently allowed himself to be lynched Day 4.

Night 4 begins.

Please send in all night actions asap.

Also, sorry for the late death scene. I was busy last night and today.

Last night was a cold one. A dark one too. The sky was moonless, and even the streetlamps seemed ineffective at dispersing the darkness, only capable of creating more.

Awaking in the morning, they find everything frozen over and frosty. Besides the town stray, nothing and no one is missing or dead.

A chilly Day 5 begins.

Majority lynch is 4. Half is 2. Deadline is November 2nd.

i think my theory about no mafia is correct, and if thats the case its us vs the self aligned and the summoner.

that being said

i dont believe for a second about your sage claim

Quite possible.

That's 3 days without a nk.

I think we took care of nk by getting rid of EM.

I think we can assume that the summoner wouldn't want to kill those self-aligned he controls in day lynches. We can also assume that the summoner doesn't know who the person he controls are due to the self-alignment. We can now I believe safely assume that the summoner has lost NK powers due to EM's death.

We know that the summoner wields three powers from the dead self-aligneds. We know that the summoner used EM to kill Martino on N1. Thereafter, the summoner couldn't kill anyone anymore having lost EM therefore we can assume that he would either use AoD as Golem or Kaziocore as Shade. Given that KevinH as the Vigilante was dead, we can assume that the summoner has no need to use Golem for protection. Therefore, the summoner was collecting information through Kaziocore on N2 and forth. This is proven by SJ's seeing of Kaziocore on N2.

Now it gets harder. The summoner could have seen who was a townie, a pro-town, or a pro-scum (or self-aligned). We can assume that the summoner didn't need to investigate SJ since he roleclaimed nor AoD, although as to what AoD's alignment was the summoner couldn't have possibly been sure until mole roleclaimed. So most likely, the summoner investigated people who didn't roleclaim.

So with that, I, and only I, am assuming that the summoner investigated me and saw that I was his nemesis. That's why I believe that the people who have been gunning for my head are the ones most likely to be the summoner. These include either CD or junk.

Of the two, I am leaning towards junkahoolic based on voting patters and postings. CD and junk have similar voting patterns. They didn't vote anyone on D1, they voted for EM on D2 (CD was the first vote, junk was the fifth), and voted for me on D3. On D4, junk voted for crazy while CD voted for Kaziocore.

The summoner could have avoided not voting for KevinH on D1 in the possibility that he might be a pro-scum role or one of the powers the summoner was controlling. The summoner could have voted for EM on D2 to blend in with the townie given that SJ was very forceful and convincing as a cop and saw that he had no choice but to vote against one of his controlled powers. On D3, the summoner could have by then already known that I was the Sage and pushed for my head. Alternatively, he was able to avoid voting for AoD who could possibly be one of his controlled powers. On D4, the summoner still wanted my head but when Kaziocore roleclaimed and Aquinas pointed to crazyemolad, he may have shifted gears to avoid suspicion.

Now why do I think junk is the more likely summoner? First, CD voted for EM first, so he couldn't have bandwagoned and attempted to blend in as a townie. His posting style is aggressive and he picked up on Carl Vincent's vanilla townie role post (which I didn't and he suspected me of). Although CD could still be the summoner and blended with the town better by voting against Kaziocore, junk is still more appropriate as the summoner because of his careful stances and sometimes inconsistent posts.

Junk voted fifth for EM which could be the summoner bandwagoning. Junk wasn't aggressive and instead just played along with the discussion ongoing. He jumped to CD's side when CD aroused suspicion towards me and junk. He could have done this to avoid CD's eyes and use EM's style of associating with a townie (like in the game EM did to me). More importantly was his inconsistency in not voting for AoD when he said that he "got mole's breadcrumbs" which I don't believe and is inconsistent with his not voting for AoD on D3. Lastly, he didn't want to lose Kaziocore because it was the only power left to him.

There are similar suspicions to CD and junk but I think the sequence of voting for EM is decisively against junk's favor of being a zealous anti-scum townie. So with that,

i dont believe for a second about your sage claim

Care to substantiate why not? And you might have a bias in objectively assessing my role claim given your previous situation.

@Falzis - nice post. All is possible only if you have told the truth in your roleclaim.

At the start of D3, I had you and junk pegged as my possible suspects. I narrowed it to you cuz of CV post but in fairness...I never really focused on junk. I never had a chance to confirm junk's role. He could very well be the summoner.

not for a second, when i was self aligned i was playing along with the town in hopes of them winning, since the win conditions were so vague i had no idea if that would help or hurt. so there is no bias from me being self aligned. and as for your role, i think its utter crap that lynching you looses everyone's power on the town side. and even if it does it doesnt matter now since there are only 7 of us left and the summoner has lost his NK ability.

and besides, you've been on my scumdar since day 1, consider it a gut feeling as you would. and as for the chance of loosing my power. i'm willing to risk it if it proves your claim was a desperation move to move us to kaizo at the last second

Well between Falzis and junk....

Vote: Falzis

If Falzis does turn up SAGE...then I'll vote for junk next day.

I don't get it. Why am I the only one critical of Crazyemolad? He is the only one who did not vote for a single self aligned power role. If you consider Falzis to be the sage he is up to two votes on pro town power roles. Even if you don't consider him to be pro town, he did not vote for a confirmed self aligned on the same day. This is clear non-town behavior and no one is even throwing him the mix. For my money, I'll bet on him over your gut feelings about Falzis any day. Until someone comes up with some solid evidence to indict Falzis...(even Junkahoolik for that matter, although that would be a harder case to make in my opinion.)

Vote:Crazyemolad

i'm siding with aquinas. i think crazy is the summoner.

vote: crazyemolad

he's been bandwaggoning all this time, he didn't ever give any reasons for his votes and if these 2 reasons aren't scummy enough i don't know what is.

Unofficial Vote Count

junkahoolik - 1 (Falzis)

crazyemolad - 2 (Aquinas, junkahoolik)

Falzis - 2 (mole/AoD, CanucksDynasty)

Not Voting 2 - (crazyemolad, Sir Jesus)

I'm guessing that Falzis and crazyemolad will vote for against the other...so that'll leave SJ with the swing vote.

(Provided no one else changes their vote)

I just calculated it ... it's not LYLO unless there is 3 mafia (I doubt it).

Unvote

Vote: crazyemolad

That'll be 4 votes for the majority lynch.

I'll either vote Falzis or junk next day.

Sidenote: I'm getting a bit tired of this game as it seems to have dragged on much longer than it should.

The "Wow that was a fast Day 5" VC

crazyemolad - 4 (Aquinas, junkahoolik, angel of doom, CanucksDynasty)

junkahoolik - 1 (Falzis)

Not voting: 2 (crazyemolad, Sir Jesus)

"Meh I'm getting tired of this," stated CanucksDynasty, looking at crazyemolad.

With an otherwise uneventful day, the town throws crazyemolad off the cliff.

And...

Then...

Something...

Does...

N't...

Happen.

Seriously.

crazyemolad, Townie, lynched Day 5.

And so Night 5 begins...

And dawn arises with nothing out of place.

Day 6 dawns...

Majority lynch is 4. Half is 2. Deadline is likely not going to be reached.(but is November 2nd)

Sidenote: if you have a night action please send it to me anyways.

@Aquinas - see...sometimes it's not all straight forward as you think.

I'm going back to my original vote.

Vote: Falzis

Since it's a quick night...it's safe to assume that the summoner has no nk ability at all.

I'm gonna go ahead and

vote: CanucksDynasty

Something about him doesn't sit right with me... I really wish I could describe why.

I'm right there with you. My logical conclusion is out the door and at this point it seems like we are all thinking with out guts.

@Aquinas - see...sometimes it's not all straight forward as you think.

In that case...
